Pros: Owners are very welcoming. Very nice. Spend time with you. Very helpful. Staff is very nice. Always smiling. Place is beautiful. Well kept and decorated. Very clean. Well situated. Breakfast on rooftop terrace is amazing. All homemade. Best Riad in whole trip in Morocco.

Pros: Beautiful spot, rooms and dining areas. Lovely views and feeling of the old world.
Cons: Recently dropped from 4 star to a 3. We were welcomed warmly but when we didn't want to partake in the expensive tourist services (mainly guides bring you to friends shops and over priced restaurants under the pretext of being helpful, inflated taxies etc) we were treated a little rudely. Service seems to have declined with the decreasing stars. Shame, such a beautiful building and nice spa.

Pros: Driss, the husband of the owner, was extremely welcoming when he picked us up from the airport after our midnight arrival. He spoke very good English, was really informative about Tangier, and was great to talk with about veganism.
Cons: An issue regarding the airport shuttle service cost us an unexpected $35 that we hadn't factored into the cost. The website advertises an airport pickup available, but doesn't list a price. When I called to arrange the pickup, no one mentioned the cost. I assumed that meant this was a free service included in the stay, which made staying that far out of town very worth it. Sadly, it costs a lot to get picked up (it would cost more in a taxi). This should have been listed on the booking page. All the other hotels in the area list the cost of airport pickup.

Pros: We had a great time at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tanger. Clean room, nice bed, amazing and considerate staff), especially during breakfast (great selection of local and western food, eggs/omelet cooked to order, try the Bissara soup - yes, for breakfast). Located near the waterfront and beside a shopping mall (part of the Hilton Complex). Walking distance to Medina (4-5km).
Cons: The only thing I can think of is that during dinner at the restaurant there seemed to be two different pieces of music being played at the same time, from different rooms. Slightly annoying but no big deal. I'd rather seem the hotel focusing on its local culture rather than playing jingle bells on a loop.

Cons: Desperate for a cocktail and one of the few hotels to have a bar, they had zero idea how to make a drink.

Pros: Everything. Kamal and the kitchen staff are awesome. The reception and room service were fast to respond to our needs. Location is great and quiet. We will definitely go back and looking forward to our next stay. I can’t say or thank the whole staff enough for the great experience. The tall gentleman at the reception was also great
