10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were delightful and couldn’t do enough for you.
Cons: It depends on what you’re looking for, this is a rural walking retreat and the long gravel access road may deter some people however it added to the experience
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A simply stunning location above the gorge with a view of the sea ! As well as the location the gardens were beautiful and the walk along the boardwalk to the chalet was amazing. The accommodation was very stylish, clean and comfortable with a huge bathroom and a lovely terrace. The restaurant was superb and it is difficult to believe you are so far from anything. We will stay again so that we can experience it in better weather !!
Cons: The only downside (minor) is that it is a very long way off the beaten track in an average hire car and you definitely wouldn't want to do it in the dark.
7.1 Good
Pros: Food in restaurant. Pool was good. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Property looked a bit tired. Food was good. Staff were good. Location was good. General facilities looked tired both inside the lodges and outside in the gardens though we had a lovely stay. Just feedback.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Fernery was absolutely beautiful! The views were amazing and waking up to the sound of the river was a treat! The food is exceptional and the staff were super friendly!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Settled in a cliff over a waterfall overlooking the ocean and away from everything, I'm already planning to come back with my family. Great spacious and very confortable rooms.
Cons: No internet in the rooms (which sometimes is a blessing) and very spotty were you can get it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for one night at the end of our holiday. It is a beautiful place and well worth a visit. We had dinner & breakfast in the restaurant and both were lovely. Staff are all very pleasant.
Cons: Only one small thing. The windows in the bathroom were left open by the staff preparing our room and as they were up high we didn’t notice. On our return to our room after dinner the bathroom area was full of flies who were obviously attracted in to the light. Might I suggest that clients are told to close all windows before dark.

We stayed here just for one night on our way to Addo and we both wished we had booked for two nights.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb. In close proximity to all the Tsitsikamma places of interest.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious clean comfortable rooms
Cons: The location is not good. I almost didn’t find the place because of the area it’s situated in. The immediate surroundings are shabby and it doesn’t feel safe. A bit far from the restaurants. You cannot walk to the Main Street especially if it’s raining.
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was big we had our own bathroom. Werners friendly service
Cons: We didn't love the location it is right in the township felt unsafe but the host told us it was safe and nothing bad happened. The staff, other than Werner, need to learn from Werner and smile, and greet and look happy to have us. Werner was the only happy person there. Sad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such friendly staff helping all around and advise the best attractions to try out. They had a nice braai area with bar, and even provide all needed to complete our braai. Very nice clean swimming pool which we enjoyed very very much. Overall I would recommend!
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly
Cons: Allocation. Darkness in room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Ponti the host was very welcoming and helpful. Even though we were opposite a small township, it felt safe inside. The breakfast was very nicely cooked and Ponti, knowing that we were wanting to start our day early, made sure that there were plenty of staff to make our hot breakfast. The property itself is very well kept. We unfortunately had 2 rooms that were split up with one having an outside access and the other one an inside access. Now we know that we should have booked Room 1 and 3 and we would have had our own massive private lounge room. The kids had fun playing pool
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Excellent and knowledgible staff. Highly recommend.

Pros: Stormsrivier is a lovely area, close to Tsitsikamma National Park. Friendly staff. Changed our room for a better one on request.

Pros: Yellowood: Bed was big, there's a bath Candlewood: amazing little cottage very secluded, with private hammoc
Cons: - the spa offered by the property is closed!!! No spa there. And they do not let anyone know before. - the restaurant refused to have us past 8 pm in the evening which was too early for the program we had, so we had to make a plan elsewhere. Actually, they welcomed other customers at 8.45 pm - the pool is not very clean - stains on our pillow covers - the staff is not very friendly nor helpful - the overall price per night is too expensive for the actual service received.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room
Cons: No bath . According to ad it stated bathroom. No bath only shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place. Very helpful staff. Few restaurants in village.
6.0 Good
Pros: This lodge is located very close to the Tsitsikamma national park and is the ideal location to start exploring this park. Several restaurants in the neigbourhood to choose from. Breakfast was nice and there was enough choice
Cons: Hotel and rooms are outdated and need some refreshment. Why we gave it a lower score has everything to do with the garden and the pool. We reserved a family room with garden view so we could easily go for a swim with our doughter, but when we went to the pool, we sadly had to see the pool was very dirty and there was a lot of dog poo in the garden of the owner's 2 dogs.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A cosy, comfortable base to explore the nearby outdoor activities from. The decor is quite rustic, which fits really well with the setting. Breakfast was great, made to order with plenty of options to choose from. And the honesty bar was a great facility, with really reasonable prices.

Cons: We were surprised that owner took payment the minute we booked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great location in the woods, right off N2. Nice breakfast, free parking, very friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this location, close to the main road but very quiet and with a rural outlook. We enjoyed the view from our window as well as our comfortable room which was well furnished, spacious, had a comfy bed and very well equipped spacious bathroom. It was safe to walk around the area with a very good choice of restaurants. It is an ideal location to relax but also a good starting point for exploring the area. Our host has created a very homely atmosphere with more to offer guests than just a bed and breakfast. Her attention to detail makes this place very special. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely room and one of the few ones which did not face the parking lot but the beautiful big garden. We liked the small pool and that there was a trust bar including a guest fridge available downstairs. The location in the village is nice and we could relax beautifully.
Cons: It was a bit mixed between relaxed B&B atmosphere and busy small hotel atmosphere. I got the feeling that one was not dure for which concept to go. Breakfast seemed very hotel like with hotel style buffet and strict seating according to room numbers. In my opinion not necessary. Have it more relaxed. :)

Cons: No enough explanation regarding who must make your bed when , Saturday we went out the whole day when we back our room was the same on how we left it in the morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay here. The hostel is literally in the middle of nowhere (but not too far away from the tourist attractions) so we had an amazing "African experience". The view was stunning and the facilitys like the campfire and the community rooms were lovely. Try the self-made dinner and breakfast! I can recommend this place to everyone who is traveling with a car and is able to reach this hidden place where you can find rest.

6.0 Good
Pros: Location wise it’s very close to the national park and a lot of other activities. Friendly staff
Cons: The sheets were not changed I suppose, had some stains on them. There are a lot of water adventures nearby so one would expect a small drying stand on the patio. Laundry facilities does not include a washer but a cleaning staff(who would charge at the very end), would be nice if you can put this up in the description.
