Pros: The room was very nice. We did request a special room but I think they were all the same unless you paid for an upgrade. Free mini-bar but no spirits.
Cons: The hotel was used for external meetings twice whilst we were there on a three day stay. The entrance was therefore very congested and facilities were limited, ie. lunch offered to be served to your room instead of in the dining room, breakfast was served in the library one day due to another external convention, this was not mentioned when we arrived, but we were told by letter in our room on the day of meetings. Breakfast could have been better, soft boiled eggs were still undercooked, bacon looked raw, coffee not at the hotest. At the outer edge of Prague 1, very steep hills to climb therefore not really recommended for those with difficulty walking. Lots of steps to get to hotel.

Pros: The location was good for our purposes as it is in Pargue 6.
The room was clean and was well epuiped. I was scared before because the review by the other travellers. No power plugs in room, No kettle. Old fashioned room etc.
There are 3 kinds of power plug outputs ( US, UK and European) near the desk. The posision would be slight high due to EU regulation.
There are a kettle underneath TV cabinet which you have to pull out its sliding tray to activate. It is cleaver device to avoid condensation in TV cabinet. It is slightly dated but clean and comfortable no noise from next door, no air condition noise. It is 100 meters from Tube station. 40 mins from Airport by Bus and Tube. 2 to 4 stops to City Centre. I liked it very much. I think I can live here if necessary.

Cons: I may be a little harsh here but the nob controlling Shower or Bath on the tap was stack and not moving. The engineer came immidiately and fix it.

I am writing this as DIPLOMAT were a 5 star hotel. It is a 4 star. Well done.

Cons: The room was a little hot and I could not control the temperature so left the window tilted. As my room was facing away from the road this was fine.

Cons: There is limited selection of toiletries in the room. On request and attempt to purchase there was no toothpaste at the reception. From this side hotel is not ready.

Cons: In-house Construction noise in the middle of the night which didn’t stop after several complaints. Air conditioning didn’t work in in several rooms after we had to change rooms. We were not informed about missing stuff in the room we had to leave.

Pros: Breakfast was really good, so many choices and everything was delicious! Staff was nice and friendly. We had a nice view at the Prague Castle.
Cons: The first night was not the best, some projector from the hotel projected an advert on to the building and straight through our window. We couldn't keep the blinds open and enjoy the view and the light really bothered us. Thankfully they took it down after the first night.

Pros: The staff was very helpful. They offered and helped with carrying my bags up the stairs to the second floor. It was very nice of them. They were very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is pretty close to the airport.
Cons: The room had no AC. It was really hot in the room as we stayed on the highest floor. Plus, no elevator so had to carry my bags up 2 floors. No fun.
