Pros: Breakfast attendants, breakfast itself, our upgrade from eco torarica to torarica.
Cons: At torarica, the reception wasn't as greatful as i expected, we had a problem with the rooms. They wanted to give us rooms with separate beds instead of the king sized ones we ordered month ago. Once that problem solved. The manager treated my wife of being rude and mannerless (onbeschaafd). She thought we wouldn't understand as she said it in Netherlands. Apart from this little misunderstanding all was great.

And even that was not possible - we already waited for 1.5 hour and still the room was not readu at 5 - we had to wait until 6.15 !!!!!!! And not even a free drink but just a face telling that there is nothibg she can do and she could not even say how lobg we had to wait ... vould have even been 8pm ! Breakfast - we came at 10 in the restaurant with more than an hour yo go but almost all the food was gone or dried out

Pros: Location was great, right in the centre. The pool area was excellent, and great great cocktails from the bar inside. Rooms were quiet and very comfortable.

Pros: I'm traveling on my motorbike through Americas. In Paramaribo my motorbike has broken down but the hotel staff turned out to be amazing. They offered me so much hospitality and helped to solve my problems. I think Tran Hotel is something more than just hotel, this is a place where You as a foreigner can find any unexpected help and services too :) :) I have never met so polite and friendly people

I had to check out 2am to catch my plane, so they even give an care package with breakfast on the go with a bottle of water. That is what I call eye for details. bottom line is: it had all i wanted and needed and will stay there again.

Pros: The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s in the middle of the center. Within a stone throw you are at the mall, the city center market, shops and many the historical monuments. Also closeby to the riverbanks where you have great places to eat and drink. No shortage of great food!

Cons: But on the other hand the breakfast staff is less friendly. They denied me for entering the breakfast area just because i forgot my breakfast card. Everything is listed on the breakfast list; so you basically know what room number and how many persons. Almost every table was full of dirty plates and stuff and we had to move them to another table just to be able to have breakfast with my family. AC...wow...it was outdated and makes a lot of noise. Could be replaced with a new one and it was almost impossible for me to fall asleep. House keeping only make your bed, put fresh towels, as far as i could notice, they do not clean the room.

Cons: Airport taxi was arranged by a taxi company , but no one was holding Krasnapolsky or your name. Had to call hotel to look for a taxi company. Garage Ashuruf at unit15 arranged our car.

Pros: Spent an awesome few days in this hotel. I made a mistake with the days of the stay but the hotel responded quickly and changed it for us. Maurice, the hotel manager was very helpful and always available to give very good recommandations for what to see, where to eat and where to change money. Our preferences for the breakfast served from 7am to 11am were asked the day before. The hotel was ideal for an impromptu photoshoot (which we did). It was quiet, very green lots of plants to decorate the hotel pool and close to casinos, restaurants. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and had AC. All in all, a great discovery. Will stay again if the occasion presents itself.
Cons: Would have preferred 2 double beds instead of 1 single bed and 1 double bed.

Pros: I like the staff being so friendly. It is indeed a 3 star hotel but the services they provide is far more better than a 5 star hotel. The staff make you really feel at home even though you're not. In one sentence: cozy and family oriented

Cons: I arrived late due to my flight and asked for a late check out (2hrs) due to my flight. I had to pay for that late checkout! I’ve stayed at all the top tiers hotels in Paramaribo and this is the first time I was asked to pay for a late checkout. They were very unreasonable. Their breakfast were crappy and their coffee machine was out of order. Entering the hotel smells like a hospital. It’s an upsetting feeling everytime you enter the lobby. Make it worst, my room smelled like that also. I am really disappointed in my overall experience at Sheva Hotel.

Cons: When i arrived the hotel they said the standard room is not available even though i booked and reserved it. After some discussion finally they gave me another room. But however it was not mentioned in booking.com they requested 100 euro deposit ! Finally i had to pay this deposit not to prolong the discussion. Electrical tools such as hair dryer has different plug and doesnt have adaptor ready for use. It was a disappointment for a 5 star !!! hotel.

Pros: After a long, hot journey, I was so happy to arrive at this friendly, happy guesthouse. The staff are so lovely, great location and some nice communal places to meet other travellers. A great restaurant nearby too though I had a few lovely breakfasts here too.

Pros: Great location, staff was helpful. Need a better common area and allow guests to have kitchen access. Plus there is a big backyard but it's gross and totally wasted. Clean it up, put some grass down, tables, hammocks, etc. There is a bizarre set up where the kitchen is behind the staff counter so you can't get coffee, store things in the fridge or cook, half the reason people book hostels in the first place. Plus staff member recommended I order a pizza one night when I hadn't eaten that day and they would not allow me in the kitchen. I finally did so. And it never showed up. An hour later I tried to get assistance from the front desk and he yelled at me. Not good. Need to have some way for people to cook or access food.

Pros: the problem was there were some very loud dogs barking at night and also in the morning. I went to the house where the noise was and one of the dogs pushed his head through the gate and almost bit my leg and the lady and man who live there denied there was any problem, and finally said "they couldnt do anything about it" -- a typical Dutch scam where the problem is right there and they deny that it exists.

Pros: O my god the staff were very friendly. Everyone greeted you with a smile and was ready to assist. The front desk were very helpful and the roof top restaurant staff were especially friendly and patient. The food was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. And I generally felt secure in the hotel. The location was central to everything literally right across the road from the river and 10 minutes walk from make square and town central.
Cons: My only comment was that house keeping cleaned my room till 5pm in the afternoon.

Pros: good hotel good location. Staff VERY nice, restaurant staff was excellent. Front desk good, but had to work within some ''crazy rules'' (see below). Casino on the ground floor made a lot of noise but rooms were well insulated.
Cons: At check in, they requested that I paid IN ADVANCE for the ENTIRE STAY ($500.....never happened before in my life...). From that moment on, I could not charge anything to the room and every time I wanted anything, I had to pay for it right then and there. I had to leave a day earlier (5 days instead of 6) ad they did not want to refund one night: I had to speak with 2 front desk clerks and the manager and finally a day was taken off the bill. Room ok, clean, many TV channels worked sporadically. Good WI-Fi coverage. SUMMING IT UP: Nice hotel but these crazy (Hotel) rules makes things un-necessarily difficult. Too bad.....

Pros: The Hotel is placed in the center of Paramaribo. It is the street where all the ovners of the plantaions lived. The Hotel is newly built, but in the same style. The rooms are well equipped, good space and aircondition. The personal are very kindly and helpful.
