Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly praised the hotel's excellent location, with many finding it convenient for sightseeing and close to attractions like Times Square. Cleanliness was also highlighted positively, with several guests describing the rooms as clean and comfortable. However, service received mixed to negative feedback, with multiple mentions of unhelpful or unfriendly front desk staff and issues with deposits or payments. Breakfast was another area of disappointment for some, with complaints about limited options, extra charges, or long wait times. Overall, while the location and cleanliness stood out as positives, service and breakfast could be improved.

Started with a problem, checking in due to use of a secondary service to book the hotel. They did not have a reservation for one of the two reservations that we made. Next we went into the room where there was a failure to fully stocked the room again after the previous user. Also a dirty washcloth in the room. When we went out for the next day, the room was serviced, but no towels were replenishe...

It is a very standard InterContinental hotel. I would rate it 4+ rather than 5*. It doesn't go above and beyond, as one would expect from a luxury property. The breakfast is mediocre for the amount they charge, the bar and restaurant do not offer much choices and it is ridiculously expensive (32 USD ++ for a chicken Cesar salad?!?!) and it does not provide an amazing value for money for sure. Pros (+) If you want to be in the middle of it all at Time Square stay here.
Cons (-) Everything from the quality of room service, attention to detail and cleanliness, broken wifi, and price tag was incredibly underwhelming for a 4+ star hotel. The Hilton a few blocks away is a better value and so is the Westin across the street. This hotel felt stuff, old and dated.
