I got a room with a view of the empire state building was lovely
The hotel is a bit too dark , i couldnt get an early check in the day i arrived and i was exhausted when i got to nyc but i guess the hotel was fully booked so they tried their best to accomodate my requests, the room view was spectacular and the reception desk employees were professional
Still a unique hotel with vintage feel and great atmosphere. Great location.
Room was completely worn down. Sink coming off the wall (1/2"crack), very basic shower with bathroom flooding, leather sofa with hinges screwed on. Music in the lobby way too loud, could hardly talk.
The location of the hotel is very central and the room was clean, spacious, and had a very comfortable bed. The coffee in the coffee shop was very tasteful and creamy.
Room was very dark, and bathroom smelled musty.
The Ace is a destination, not a Hotel. From the vibrant open lounge as you arrive to the attached restaurant and coffee/Bagel shops it's a location that is alive and super connected to the neighbourhood and surroundings. Rooms are spacious for NY standards and the facilities good.
It's not a relaxing location. Escaping to the room is necessary if you are looking for R&R and the higher the better.
Hip hotel, beautiful place with lots of soul, centrally located
Climate management in the room is a challenge
The Ace Hotel brings the flavor of modern New York along with the hospitality traditions of the past. The rooms emphasize style, inspired by the triangular architecture of this property that dominates a New York street corner. It sits in Midtown Manhattan, right in the heart of the district that saw the boom of New York’s early 20th century growth.
The suites are spacious and generously designed to maximize the comfort of guests. They have living rooms as well as pleasant views to the hustling and bustling world outside. Some feature clawfoot tubs that have classic and timeless popularity among both traditionalists and modern hipsters alike.
The hotel offers access to all that makes this area of New York special: the art, the business, the shopping, the history, and the food. In addition, there is a variety of museums, theaters, and parks all within close proximity, making the Ace Hotel an ideal jumping off point for visitors to the Big Apple.
Loft suites come complete with impressive hardwood floors, views up Broadway and king beds for guests to plop into after a busy day of exploring the city. The Wi-Fi is free, as is use of the complimentary in-room safe and refrigerator. To add an extra touch of class, some rooms come equipped with a turntable or even an acoustic Martin guitar.
The Ace Hotel is a blast from the past, yet it proudly steps into the future by providing thoughtful conveniences to guests eager to take in all that New York has to offer.
