Madesimo hotels

Pros: Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Restaurant Manager and team did a fantastic job.

Cons: I had booked a standard double room for me and my girlfriend. Upon arrival they thought we were with four people as we were given room 130 which is an apartment for 4 pax. No one mentioned that this was an upgrade upon arrival. I found it all a bit strange. The room was very spacious and had a nice view. We went to sleep early and all of a sudden at 23:30 we were rudely awakened by a heavy bass. Seems that the local club is maybe 100 meter down from the hotel and it felt like we were literally at the club. We couldn't sleep and called twice to the reception, they told me they would call the club and that there was no other room available. I decided to go down to the reception because this was unacceptable as the club is open until 04:00. After insisting they had a room available which was not in use by paying guests but was occupied by other people and had to be cleaned first. It took them about 30 minutes and we could move in and finally had a decent night of sleep. We could still hear the music slightly. It wasn't the experience I had hoped to have upon booking the trip. We did not receive any compensation. I believe they could have made a bit more effort or handled the situation differently.

Cons: Check in at 5 pm and check out at 10. Breakfast till 9.30. Very noisy location. Couldn't sleep till 3 am because a night club nearby. To access reception, spa, restaurant, bar you need to wear your coat because the room are not connected with the main area. The shuttle bus driver very rude. Waiting time for shuttle bus 30 min.

Pros: To bad the tv was broke, the matras was way beyond it’s shelf life and was not comfortable at all. As a guest you didn’t feel at ease as the personnel did not even say hello or notice you.

Cons: The room was very Cold. The Minibar was empty. At the Breakfast the cups were plastic.

Pros: Genuinely lovely staff, warm and tonnes of hot water, great breakfast selection and a fantastic spa downstairs.

Pros: Well located for lifts and centre facilities. We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff member. Room was comfortable with balcony and meals were good. Nice bar. We would stay here again.

Pros: The owners of the hotel were super welcoming, and made us feel immediately relaxed and at home . We ate in the bistro of the restaurant ( which has a Michelin star !) the food was great and good value.., The breakfast was fantastic, everything you could possibly want ... The cleanliness of the hotel was incredible, everything looked new , not a spot of dust or dirt to be found, very impressive . Car parking a great bonus & a heated room to leave you skis & boots overnight . A jewel in Madesimo, small , and beautifully put together.

Pros: The quality of this place exceeds your expectations . The owners and staff are so kind and attentive. The service and food is the best in Madesimo, I believe. A real treat is the breakfast, you get a very nice buffet, with delicious croissants, yogurts and a large choice of homemade marmelades - Very impressive is that you have a full choice of eggs, meats, cheese, freshly made smoothies and more, to order from a breakfast menu - And you are not limited to only one choice

Cons: That I did not have the time to stay more than two nights and that it will be 12 months before I will be back...

Pros: Personnell was very friendly and helpful. The structure looks as new, very clean. Free acces to wellness center with indoor swimming pool. Free parking available.

Cons: The room was very dark because of poor exposition to sunlight (one of the two windows was in front of a wall). Artificial lighting was very fainty, it would need to be improved. We experienced repeated issues with the heating system inside the room, but they explained us that it was due to some road works ongoing outside the hotel.

Pros: Clean and quiet. Helpful staff. Good start for hiking day.

Pros: The family run hotel was very welcoming. We enjoyed chatting and laughing with the staff. The inclusive breakfast was excellent.

Pros: Close to the snow track. Gently discend down the slopes and walk to your room. Nice discounts for renting my snowboard. The bed was very comfortable, the shower amazing. The room set was so nice with squirrel like lamps. The owner if very nice and accomodating.
