Pros: We were surprised at how nice our room was, lovely bed and set up perfectly. And you really couldn't beat the view, mountains right outside the door! Breakfast was delicious also with lots of options. Ps. parking RIGHT outside the door rocked.
Cons: Two things: One was the bath fan, it started buzzing terribly and was really loud to run. The other was that the AC/Heating unit was blowing RIGHT at the bed so we propped one of our bags in front of it to keep us out of the wind.

Pros: The location & staff were outstanding!
Cons: NA
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and knew us by name after one day. General store in the lobby has alot of essentials.
Cons: I do not think you should book hotel room occupants above the hostel residents unless the building is at full occupancy. The hostel guests are not loud, but they cook meals outside every night and their voices carry up to the second floor. Its a little annoying to hear conversations until they went inside for the night. Pillows were the worst pillows ever. Some kind of dense foam blocks. Felt cheap. Also, with no closet in the room, it would have been nice to have a couple of hooks for clothes. No hook on the inside of the bathroom door? I don't want to drape my bath towel over the toilet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not only was it a great deal, the view was amazing. Thanks for the nice room.

Pros: Value and proximity to the mountains.
Cons: Noise from other visitors could be heard easily.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Charming history and memorabilia. Polite staff, easy check-in.
Cons: Horrible noise from late night pool users (24 hr pool encourages nighttime partying). Microwave, ice machine below us, plus an entrance on ground floor and stairwell up to our room on interior. Smokers congregated below our 2nd floor window. Bad night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was smooth and the room was cozy and comfortable. We loved the historic details & decor, and the fact that the hot tub was 24 hours was a great perk! The staff member that helped us was very friendly and accommodating as well!
Cons: On the morning of our checkout, someone jangled the door knob to our room loudly for about 15-20 seconds. No one said "housekeeping" or knocked on the door, we just heard a loud and jarring noise from the door knob being pulled on. It definitely woke us up and left us with a slightly uncomfortable feeling.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lone Pine was an overnight location on our road trip, the hotel was in a good location. We stayed in a newly renovated room, it was lovely!

6.0 Good
Pros: Nicely remodeled rooms, tasteful & clean, great TV selection.
Cons: Parking is a problem; fewer parking spaces than rooms.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were HUGE with 2 king sized beds. there was a refridgerator and microwave as well. The nice young man at check in was a doll, friendly and curtious, I had called ahead to say we would be late and he waited for our arrival. we only stayed one night on the way to mammoth but it was very roomy
Cons: the mattress were hard as a rock. parking was a little tight but no big deal.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. We stayed for three nights and the room was straightened up each day by the maid. The TV was new. The location is excellent and we enjoyed the sites in Lone Pine, CA.
Cons: There was a horrible smell in the room. It took a while to figure out that it was coming from the bathroom. It was a sewage smell. The motel owner said they knew about the problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the beds here. Just cozy. It’s quiet. The front desk staff are friendly even when you’ve obviously woken them up coming in late. Parking can be tricky if you’re the last one in but it’s manageable.
Cons: If you’re short the vanity is a little tall but that’s about the only thing I could complain about. I enjoy this motel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, great location to walk for food. Best value in town. Would definitely stay there again!
