Pros: Westin in Langkawi was excellent! The hotel, the room, the service and the staff were all brilliant! we were upgraded to a ground floor garden view room and the room was beautiful and the view was stunning!
Cons: We had a slight complaint on the food in the main restaurant and the management were extremely apologetic And gave us complimentary airport lounge passes for Langkawi airport.

Pros: I have stayed at Berjaya Langkawi on three occassions over a period of about 20 years. The star attraction is undoubtedly the physical aspect of the property. The majority of the accommodation are stand-alone wooden chalets that are nestled in a well-established rainforest. The experience of walking to, staying in, and sitting on the balcony of what is effectively a hut (albeit with all modern conveniences) tucked in a rainforest is quite unique. As far as I know, Berjaya, and the more expensive Datai, are the only proporties on the island with such accommodation. Accommodation in other properties on the island might be surrounded by lush vegation, but they would be housed in low- to medium-rise buildings (i.e. You will not get a private stand-alone accommodation).
Cons: Other aspects of Berjaya Langkawi - service, food, mattress, in-room furnishings and amenities, and live entertainment - are alright. None of them are terrible, but none of them are so outstanding as to warrant a commendation. I have found this to be the case with each of the three visits over the years.

Pros: Breakfast was not bad....like same other hotels. But view was good.....
Cons: I never liked anything...first day itself was very bad...spoiled mood bacause of rude behaviour of staff...Ac leak....bathroom every thing charged........

Pros: Fave hotel is kind of new hotel, it means building and facilities are quiet clean compare to other hotels. There is a Nasi Kandar Tomato restaurant serve delicious food with reasonable price next to the hotel.
Cons: Beach is not so close, it takes around 7 minutes to the beach on foot. My room is at the end of the corridor and this area smelled drain odor including my room. Swimming pool is a little bit shallow for adults.

Pros: Our experience with Bella Vista was better than alot of other self proclaimed 5 and 4 star hotels. The staff was polite and supporting.
Cons: There were few minor issues such has the basin and shower drainage were choked, our room wasn't ready upon our arrival.
