Overview Reviews
When you stay at Killin Hotel in Killin, you'll be on a river, within a 15-minute drive of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and Loch Earn. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. This hotel has 3 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Despite the thing's we disliked, it certainly didn't spoil our stay. Our room had a four poster bed, overlooking the river, and the view was gorgeous. The food was good, but a tad overpriced, but this was expected. The staff were great, and the whole ambiance of the hotel was fantastic. My partner would like a special mention for the young barman, who was great from the off, but all the staff had a great attitude and we couldnt have asked for better.
Cons: The bed was very creaky, and not the most comfortable. The shower was tiny, and you would struggle if you were a bit on the larger side. The room and furnishings are in need of a facelift, as the carpet was worn and the furniture has seen better days. The whole hotel needs a bit of tlc.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely front lounge, bar and conservatory with fab view over the river. Bedroom was quiet.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The lighting in the bedroom was very poor.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice conservatory area, good food
Cons: Room was tiny and it was supposed to be a superior room
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel looked lovely and staff were great, breakfast and evening meal fabulous,
Cons: We stayed in annex no 2, great space for our needs but could have done with some TLC, and bed, or I should say mattress was very uncomfortable,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Lovely food. Very welcoming public areas including real fire in the pub. Very helpful staff. We stayed in the annexe building where the rooms are more modern than the main hotel room we were initially in. Courtney on reception was happy to move us after a double room came up. Will definitely come back.
Cons: Staff accommodation is above annexe 4 room and I was aware of them getting ready for work at 6.30am. Small negative in an otherwise great stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: loved the place, just needs a good clean and a bit of maintenance.. would recommend and stay again. staff were exempklary. pay rises all round. many thanks
Cons: just a wee bit grubby in places.
6.0 Good
Pros: Views were stunning
Cons: Bed very uncomfortable food was average lots of staff but didn't seem too know what they where doing
1.0 Poor
Pros: Beautiful surroundings
Cons: Room not very clean un comfy bed
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were clean and comfy and the included breakfast was good in the morning. The staff was very helpful and the village was beautiful.
Cons: Because this is also a bar/restaurant, parking was kind of a pain. Also, we had a flood light outside our room shining on the sign all night that was a tad annoying, but I would still recommend this location.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at the Inn was comfortable and cosy. It is just on the high street in Killin. We had arrived early at the village and asked to park our car at hotel which led us then to be given the opportunity to book into our room 4 hours ahead of check in time, which we really appreciated. Room was perfect just as we expected from the description and we had warm and restful night. We booked in the Bistro with our food tasty and from a varied menu and lovely selection of wines. Having nice nightcap in the bar after our meal. Breakfast was especially good with a selection of cold and cooked breakfast options. We had the full breakfast option that set us up for the rest of the day. All in great stay with very friendly staff.
Cons: Everything was just brilliant.
