Pros: Located in excellent location with beautiful view. Brakffest is outstanding, I never sow so many options I didn’t have a chance to use the Spa health club and Pools but I’ve heard that it’s one of the best, I definitely recommend to try this hotel

Pros: This is a beautiful hotel in an elegant old building that was completely redone to creat the hotel. Courteous and helpful staff. Concierge services were excellent. Rooms are large and well furnished. Ten minute walk to the Jaffa Gate of the old city. Breakfast was included and was excellent.
Cons: I-PAD provided in the room for hotel services never worked, even with repeated calls and IT requests.

Pros: An excellent staff made our stay particularly nice. We made a couple unusual requests and the professional staff at the American Colony stepped up without hesitation to provide for our needs. We hesitated before booking in this location but found it to be very welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast provided was also fantastic and diverse even by Israeli big breakfast standards. Our only less than stellar comment is that the selection of books and literature in the gift/book shop is very one sided and partisan. This shouldn't have been totally surprising but given the excellence and absence of political statements everywhere else it became noticeable. A great hotel.

Pros: Location is prime (near old city), good picturesque restaurant (Arabesque) and summer bar, nice pool, good choice of TV channels. Good staff albeit sometimes appearing a bit inexperienced.
Cons: Tapware difficult to moderate (hot/cold, quantity/flow of water), towels not so plush, amenities in the bathroom subpar (smell [like disinfectant], wrapping soulless), business center not open 24/7 as indicated without explicitely having to ask, pool opening hours (only until 18.00).

Cons: Cleanliness. We found BED BUGS! My husband was literally bitten 90+ times. Needless to say, we cut our stay short and left the hotel! Never again!

Cons: Our room was dirty and unkempt. The sheets and beds were fine, but the whole room was a little dusty. The toilet was clean, but the bathtub was dirty with mold around some of the fixtures.

Cons: The beds (two twins pushed together, European budget hotel style) were hard, with a thin mattress on a wooden deck. Not even a box spring. I expect this from youth hostels, not luxury hotels.

Pros: We love the Leonardo because of the great service, the homey yet luxurious feel, and the magnificent views of Jerusalem. The breakfast is unmatched and the location is great too.
Cons: The only downside is that you have to park your own car. Overall it's a great hotel with great prices.

Pros: Location is good as its next to the light rail. Cost is definitely reasonable for the value. Food is regional but good and staff try to be helpful.
Cons: Although internet is free you have to login every day and then your bill shows a debit with an offsetting credit. Awkward. Sometimes their cleaning staff is not responsive and can be chintzy.

Pros: I liked the pool very much and got in a good swim workout, a couple of times. No skin issues either on the saltwater pool.
