Cons: An older building, midway through a renovation upgrade means it looks it's age. Will be great when done, I am sure as the renovated public areas are well done.
7.5 Good
Pros: Sensational Location Easy access to Ferry Bus to Tobermory Relaxed and unintrusive Dog Friendly Pool and Hot Tub
Cons: Renovations and Building were being commenced upon our arrival We should have been told prior to booking although it didn’t ruin our stay The place was dirty in the stairway from Bar to downstairs rooms. Upon our departure it remained dirty Builders need to hoover their mess up! Everything else was positive Most staff were very welcoming

6.7 Good
Pros: The views from the house, can't be beaten. Wonderful.
Cons: Washroom facilities if you didn't have en suite. Getting up in the middle of the night to go down the corridor through a noisy door to the loo, is no joke.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Having a chance to interact with other travelors.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice common space. Pretty view out back. Full kitchen
Cons: Depends on group that is there. Rowdy group hard to be with first night but they were quiet by curfew. Second night and morning great

Pros: Perfect location, great hosts and good value for money
7.5 Good
Pros: Scenery.
Cons: Pillows. Breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views were amazing and the location was very peaceful!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is good for my purposes. Breakfast supplied is OK, although some cow's milk would have been appreciated. Views are fantastic. I imagine in drier weather the outside BBQ would be greatly appreciated.
Cons: TV remote wasn't working when I visited. Space between beds was limited, but understandable for size of room, and I kept hitting my leg on one or other of the wooden bed frames! The fact that it already appears to be fully booked for same weekend in 2020 despite my search immediately on my return!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The position, the hosts, the cleanliness, the comfy beds, the views, the facilities.
Cons: Nothing not to like

7.0 Good
Pros: Food very good. Nice and warm in hotel.
Cons: Rooms very small
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, obviously the scenery in Tobermory speaks for itself. I had a meal at night and had a table facing the sea as well as a log fire so it was beautiful. Nice bar and adjoining seating area with fire and couches.
Cons: I was assigned a very small single room at the back of the hotel, child's size I would say. I also hadn't paid enough attention when booking as the breakfast wasn't included, I took it for granted that it would be as standard. The cost of breakfast added would have made this overly expensive. Best to book directly with the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was excellent, from the lovely welcoming hosts Nicola & Robert, to the fabulous harbour view from my bedroom window seat. I loved this boutique hotel and extended my stay due to an unusual reluctance to move on.
Cons: I was extremely unhappy about leaving. Also that I didn't manage to encounter the Tobemory Cat during my visit :(
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Ease of check in and warm welcome. Great food in restaurant and lovely welcoming open fire.
Cons: Very small points, but bedside lamp not working likewise the wardrobe cupboard. Tap in bathroom is fierce and managed to soak us not once but twice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very well presented and the staff were fantastic, the location is perfect and gave us a great base from which to discover mull.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, beautiful neighborhood, great breakfast and nice staff. The room is cosy and comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast could be included in the price of the room.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was huge , clean , had all we needed and the staff couldn’t have been kinder . We had two dogs with us and they had loads of space too . Cons: Public bar looks a little bit tired but this not a major issue .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The food was great - we ate lunch there on our arrival. The room was well sized, comfortable and came with of the faculties you would expect. The property is old (the oldest inn on Mull!) but the rooms are very nice and look like they are kept to a high standard. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: A lovely room, fairly spacious for the age of the inn. Nice sized bathroom, too.
Cons: The bed was a bit soft—maybe all Scottish beds are this way? And Dervaig is pretty remote—nothing they could fix, of course, but travelers should know that it’s a drive—on narrow, one lane roads—to get anywhere.

Pros: warm and welcoming staff. A wonderful relaxing atmosphere. An excellent breakfast. Beautiful surroundings. Great area for walks with beautiful scenery.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice old building in a pleasant village. Staff very friendly and welcoming, nice atmosphere. Pleasant library/sitting room for use by residents. Dogs welcome.
Cons: Room was above the bar and the smoking area and there was quite a lot of noise till 2 a.m. (we stayed on Friday and Saturday nights). Mattress quality (sprung) wasn’t great and too soft for us. Breakfast was generally good but had clearly been prepared in advance and kept warm. Food was good overall but not great.
