9.0 Excellent
Pros: Facility was nice an clean. Lobby and facility open with cute decorations. Bathroom was Large. Pretty good continentl Breakfast though did not have hot food.
Cons: Bed was a little too hard even tough I like hard mattresses.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money with good location for a stop over between Seattle and San Frans with close proximity to the Redwood forests. Recommended.
6.0 Good
Pros: The size of the rooms and cleanliness was great. I even like the 80's decor. ❤ The lobby murals are beautiful, the Blues Bro is initially startling but cool. Located nicely, too.
Cons: Maybe I'm spoiled, but the continental breakfast wasn't that great. When I book a hotel, I always look for one with an outstanding breakfast to add value for the stay to help justify spending so much for a 1 night stay (we were in town for a basketball tourney at DNHS). I was happy that there were hard boiled eggs. Slim pickins for a diabetic style diet, otherwise.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Reasonable stay over while exploring redwood forest
6.0 Good
Pros: It was kind of like stepping into a time machine but in a nostalgic way. It was very clean. The shower was amazing. Having access to laundry was great! Our room was very spacious and the price was excellent! The staff was great.
Cons: The beds were the absolute worst! I think the floor would have been more comfortable. If you like an extremely firm bed, then this place is right up your alley. My kids and I didn't sleep well at all because of this. I would love to come back and stay again, but we won't because of the beds.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about the hotel. I love the location and the rooms are very clean.
Cons: The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable on one of the beds and there were no extras. We had left a nice wooden hanger and we went back before the next check in because we ere still in town and it was no where to be found. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and looked in several different locations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, excellent location and overall wonderful experience
7.0 Good
Pros: It was very old fashioned. The rooms were quiet and large. We had a view of the ocean. Continental breakfast.
Cons: The mattress needs updating

10.0 Excellent
Cons: Great stay!
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was great. The staff was not overly friendly other than the nice lady who checked us in. We would stay here again, but a little more attention to detail would put it at the top of our list as the location right on the water can't be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean staff was very helpful!
Cons: No dislikes!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy to find. Large comfortable sitting area for breakfast. Clean, friendly, spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Knowledgeable staff. Near several good restaurants.
Cons: Would have liked scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. Didn't see anything hot and can't eat wheat, so most of the coffee cake, rolls etc were out for me.
6.0 Good
Pros: Given a good view and room is big! Location is good with food places nearby!
Cons: Bit of a rush during check in
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The large room and comfy couch.
Cons: No complaints

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and very well decorated. Location was perfect for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view once you get past the ugly rv park was nice. The beach being right next to the hotel was awesome.
Cons: Just the ugly rv park. And the housekeeping kept knocking on our door after we told her we weren't ready for her yet.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was large and clean. It looked like it was recently updated, and the mini fridge and microwave were wonderful!
Cons: There's not much to do in the city where the hotel is located, so I was excited to find that there was a hot tub. It's very disappointing that the hot tub is only open from 5-10 pm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The employees were great! The room was better than expected. We will stay there again.
1.0 Poor
Pros: I was drawn to stay here by the location and the free EV charging, as well as generally good ratings. Despite many EV parking spots blocked by regular cars, we were able to charge. The free breakfast was sparse, but better than nothing.
Cons: Partner and I have found bedbug bites following this stay. Called hotel, and they said they regularly spray for pests and would "look into it" but seemed fairly unconcerned. Overall this is a tired, dated motel with an "ocean view" of an RV park. Fail!
6.0 Good
Pros: The grounds are nicely kept, room was clean, and coffee pot in room was nice. Is cool its pet friendly ,It was nice and quiet as well. Even though there were things that were a bummer i would still stay again. Maybe teach staff the guest staying is more important than a phone call.
Cons: I don't think my bed was a queen. My fiance's feet were hanging off the bed. My keys didn't work for hot tub room. When my fiance' went into office to fix this the receptionist was on the phone didn't acknowledge him while i sat in cold waiting. So needless to say, never got to use it. So that was a complete bummer. I didn't like the bedding at all i was cold. Brought my own blanket thankfully.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: towel rack was unique
Cons: dirty windows, RV view
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast.
Cons: It was perfect for my large family.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a nice view and it was roomy and comfortable.
Cons: The parking was pretty limited due to some shipping containers taking up 4 spaces.
7.0 Good
Pros: Front desk lady was very nice. She called us the day of to see when we would be arriving and checked us in a couple hours early. Rooms are remodeled and bed was comfortable. Good for the price.
Cons: Room wasn’t totally clean. There was a hair tie in the bathroom. Made us question how well they cleaned the toilet... speaking of the toilet, had some back up in the pipes the morning we left... kind of gross. It was a nice enough place and the price was right but I couldn’t imagine paying summer rates and being satisfied.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pet friendly, congenial staff, clean and close to restaurants. Wharf behind hotel had dozens of sea lions sleeping on it. Fun to see.
Cons: Wall heater very loud but due to cold temp it needed to be on. Couldn’t sleep listening to it go off and on frequently. Turned it off. No extra blankets in room. Was provided one when requested.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very clean, very nice continental breakfast, short walk to beach which is visible from most rooms, short driving distance to great restaurant
Cons: No complaints.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, hardly anybody up this early. Great view.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location. We went hiking in Redwood NP and this hotel was centrally located to the park. We also liked the two guys working at the front desk, very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It had a strange smell, when you first walked into the room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed was very comfy. Staff was delightful! Great location!
4.0 Okay
Pros: No highway noise, the view from the breakfast buffet window. The bacon & sausage were not pretty but did taste excellent.
Cons: The place seemed a bit rundown, roughest toilet paper I've ever had the un-pleasure of using, had to walk outside from room to indoor pool in 34 degree F weather, the stuff that was supposed to be hot (the gravy & the potato patties) was not hot at the breakfast buffet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and clean
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location was good, staff at check in and check out were both excellent. I think I got some food poisoning from the breakfast buffet.
Cons: It is a well kept albeit falling apart facility. The halls smell dank and the rooms need to be updated.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Near harbor, relatively comfortable bed
Cons: The cleaning staff were walking by making comments while we were getting ready in the am, which was intrusive and did not give us privacy.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Location was about the best you could do We paid $5.00 extra to get a view (across a busy street) of a huge park and the bay and the museum. The room was tiny but very clean. The owners were the staff and they kept it nicely. Great value!
6.0 Good
Pros: This was a good location. In walking distance to the ocean and the park. It was a cheap price for a family suite, so there was a lot of room in there for our kids to have some space to play.
Cons: The room was kind of dirty. If someone could focus on detail cleaning like the window sills and walls that would make it better. There was an ant crawling on the wall by the tv, but thankfully it was only the one that we saw.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: The rooms were not very clean. Floors dirty. Mold in shower. No continental breakfast available
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!! I had stayed in lots of budget hotels and motels, but I have never stayed in a place as terrible as this one.
Cons: It was an extreme old motel and everything were outdated and lack of maintenance and need to be renewed. Also you can hear everything outside and the noise of traffic. You can only see a tiny peice of water from the ocean view room. It's overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great friendly customer service
Cons: Comfortable

Pros: Location is great, just next to the park in dowtown.

6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Front desk staff was very rude and nosey
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Lots of druggies not a safe area! Loud and noisy from Taco Bell. We were put in the back where Taco Bell was! Horrible 5 nights and days.
7.9 Good
Pros: We checked in incredibly late due to a power outage in the hotel we had booked in N. California. We back tracked over three hours to find an open hotel. The hotel owner was incredibly kind and sweet even though we woke her. Decent rate for a last minute check in. They had a live plant in the room, which was amazing to see. Looks like they put new TVs in recently. Nice touch. Comfy bed!
Cons: No laundry at the hotel that we could find, but laundromat down the block. Ice machine didn’t seem to be working. We tried to use heat and a/c but the system didn’t respond. Very, very loud area. Could hear the traffic outside. Our tub was slow to drain when we showered. We forgot to mention it at checkout.

Cons: nothing,everything was good
8.0 Excellent

7.5 Good
Pros: Nice hotel and kinda pretty. Was somewhat surprised that it didn't have AC but were reassured that we didn't need it. They were correct.
Cons: Would have liked the room a bit better had it not been located by the stairs outside. The parking area was also a bit tight.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very nice well run hotel! The owner was lovely and the room was in great shape! It was just a tiny bit warm!
Cons: Nope it was great! The succulents were beautiful
7.0 Good
Pros: It's right off the highway, easy to find, within walking distance of some amenities(grocery store,park/beach). The lady working in the office was really friendly, willing to answer questions & provided a lovely large fan when I asked for one
Cons: No a/c, no plugs along one wall, rusty shower bar, no breakfast, slow wifi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff
Cons: Everything was great. The fridge made a horrible noise and had someone's left over food in it but they were going to fix it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was a handicapped room so it was large, which was ok with me.
Cons: The room needs some updating, the carpet looked old as did the furnishings. Being a handicapped room the bathroom had a tub, too hard for a disabled person to use.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and we could use the indoor pool even though it was storming
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: It falsely advertised a pool and hottub. Said thata its closed in the fine print.. you have to be looking for it. There was no insulation in the rooms with a big crack under the door so it was freezing. The blankets were shoved by the feet and we didn't notice till the morning so we froze all night. It was ridiculously expensive for what we got. The tv was super small and they 10 extra for kids by the night!! Then they try to upgrade us but the room was even crappier!! I wouldn't recommend staying there.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good value for money. Very clean and comfortable place for staying in Crescent City. Close to the main shopping area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were comfortable and roomy and the location is right in the middle of everything. walking distance to a Dutch Bros. coffee.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Pool, great location, room had a fridge and freezer, microwave. We just hung out on the beach then warmed up in the hot tub. Would recommend this place and stay there again .
Cons: There was no "do not disturb" sign so every morning we were woken up by the room attendant banging on the door, I don't think she could hear me say "we're fine, thanks" so more banging while I ran around for clothes to open it and tell her. It wasn't super early, but I'm up all night due to work so I'm not a morning person! But they were friendly when I opened the door and just asked for a coffee serving refill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Price. Clean. Very nice.

Pros: Great location.
Cons: Nothing.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location :)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of this hotel was great for the views and walks. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was your typical not very impressive continental, but that is just expected. Having the pool and hot tub was great for the kids.
Cons: Because they allow dogs, there was a dog barking for awhile one night but that's hardly the hotel's fault and more on the dog owner. The pool towels were pretty ratty and really could use replacing but really that was the only negative.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The waffles were amazing! I love that my dogs were able to stay with us.
Cons: It was at one time a very nice hotel I’m sure. Little things like touch up paint not matching. Chair on the balcony was a rusting folding chair. Some of the jets in the bathtub didn’t work.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is fantastic
Cons: Noise - paper thin walls lead to me having to call front desk to complain about room noise next door. And the hotel was half empty - could they not find rooms farther apart? My halibut sandwich was from a frozen patty - no better tan a fast food joint. Breakfast was untouchable. Eat elsewhere.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Pretty view
Cons: The girl that checked us in was surly and dressed like a slob, sheets on sideways had to remake our own beds, dog next to us barked for hours, when people finally came back had loud party on their balcony. Paid --- for worsts night ever, no partial r

1.0 Poor
Cons: Cleanliness
7.0 Good
Pros: View! Quick to fix plumming problem in room
Cons: Breakfast. cheap for a 5 star hotel. INSTANT otmeal. Watered down orange juice. No choice of low sugar cold cereal- All Sugar cereal. WIFI a bit slow
4.0 Okay
Pros: The Balcony and Ocean View
Cons: Reported kids to front desk 3 Times. Luggage rollers was too loud on tile floor. Rooms doors slammed shut. Cob webs, door stop could be pulled out of wall, bath tub stained, heater fan too loud sounded like it was hitting some thing clanging, windows were dirty.
6.0 Good
Pros: The view
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: . The view & dinner was fantastic.
Cons: Room floor was dusty, not sure if it was cat hair or dog hair. Breakfast cut off times at prior hotels we stayed in on this road trip was 10am not 9am.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: When welcomed, they also acknowledge my dog and talked with her a little. Of course she ate it up!! Room was nice, quiet except for the basketball team running laps through the hallway, easy access up & down to let my girl out to potty and bonus...listened to the ocean while falling asleep. Even the restaurant let my dog in (she laid under the table). The WHOLE place was pet friendly. Would definitely stay again!!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk lady was friendly, room was clean, overall atmosphere was pleasant, plenty of eating options nearby, and they do have a continental breakfast.
Cons: Everything was fine.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Good place
Cons: Expand breakfast items
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The facility was older, but was spotlessly clean and neat. Well run, good continental breakfast, and attentive staff. A real bargain for the price.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The room was large. Staff was friendly. Price was right. Starbucks was next door. And oddly enough, the 1 thing I appreciated the most was the overhang above the parking spots. I arrived in the middle of a downpour, & it helped to stay dry.
Cons: Nothing.
6.2 Good
Pros: The hotel was right along the main highway through town and easy accessible. For $55 a night there was also a small continental breakfast included with bagels, muffins, and cereal. Also the room included a coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave, and a small refrigerator with freezer...don't usually see those in more expensive hotels.
Cons: The WiFi had terrible connection, and although we couldn't see the dirt, our two year old's feet turned black from walking barefoot in the room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed and well kept grounds. We will definitely stay here again when in town and would now consider this chain in our travels.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Pros: Good value, professional staff, and a good location if you're trying to escape a storm like we were.
Cons: We found a bed bug. They said they had sprayed a few weeks ago, but we still found one and brought it to their attention. I would say, be wary before booking here if you have other options.
5.0 Okay
Pros: mediocre
Cons: reported a tenant who was yelling and using foul language. nothing was done.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Located near local attractions. Clean and reasonably priced. Cordial staff. Dog friendly.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The location was fine.
Cons: It stated there would be air-conditioning in our rooms. There was none. We also rang them and asked for our rooms to be close to each other and on the ground floor, as I have just finished 18 months of intense treatment for cancer and our teenage son is in a wheelchair, but they gave one of our rooms to someone else. In the end, we were separated with one room right at the back of the property, and the other room at the front. The front room was under stairs leading to the second floor and was incredibly noisy. I would not stay there again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: one staff can't help us assecing the iternet in time.
1.0 Poor
Pros: There was nothing we liked about this place
Cons: When we arrived the desk clerk was rude. We had no hot water at night. Our room key did not work until 2 times of reprogramming. There was no AC. There were only 2 pillows total.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The best thing about the whole stay was the lady how greeted us when we first got there. The rest of the stay went down hill from there.
Cons: There was no air conditioning. All night a fog horn was going off and we couldn't close the window because it was to hot. They ran out of towels and we had to wait for over an hour for clean towels. Thev internet didn't work for a while.
5.0 Okay
Pros: having booked last minute- it was available..and that was the best part. It was fine- exactly what you would expect for a Super 8..thin bedding and towels , crusty peeling plaster on the walls...but its a Super 8..
Cons: I knew going into it that it was going to be lower quality and feel kinda gross- cheap sheets and towels, dirty carpet, and peeling walls. But it was cheap and had availability at the last minute..
7.1 Good
Pros: Was clean.
Cons: Room needs some repair.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Absolutely nothing. Was excited about king bed and even that was a disappointment.
Cons: No a/c, no fan, no air circulation. Pillows on bed were the size of decorative pillow for a couch.Towels and sheets were stained. Total dive. One lightbulb over sink was burned out. Phone in room didn't work and couldnt get a dial tone to call front desk
6.0 Good
Pros: Love the location, and free breakfast. We usually stay here. We also got to see Elk! Yay.
Cons: Our room was run down, lots of broken things. The juice machine was broken at breakfast so it left nothing but hot cocoa for kids to drink.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great
Cons: No

Pros: The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.
Cons: The pool area seemed dirty and there wasn't any towels, had to go to front desk to ask for pool towels and still wash' table to get some.

6.0 Good
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Rooms really need to be updated and the bathroom toilet needs to be secured to the floor loose.
