Çeşme hotels near Cesme Castle

Pros: Lovely hotel in a quiet and peaceful part of town. Quick and easy walk to the marina or main shopping strip and easy access to dolmuses to get to the beach or Alaçati. Very conveniently located for the main bus terminal where you can catch buses to Izmir city or the airport. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, made me feel very comfortable as a solo traveller. Room was nice and clean with a cute little balcony. Good breakfast. Lovely pool and outdoor bar area. I had a very nice stay.

Cons: Bedding could be improved to increase comfort. The room size was fine, but there was a bit too much furniture in it.

Pros: Clean and spacious room with a large bathroom and a small balcony. comfortable bed and pillows. Check-in experience was positive. Breakfast was very good - staff working at Breakfast were friendly. The hotel has a pool and is at walking distance of the harbor. A small minibar and complimentary bottles of water in the room. Internet wifi is working well - tv has mostly Turkish channels. Aircondition system was pleasant - not too cold and not too warm. Nice little balcony with chairs and table. Friendly staff - welcoming and warm hotel.

Cons: Receptionist entered my room at 00.30 - he forgot that he checked me into the room a few hours before. Questionable - although he seemed very apologetic about it. Girls at the reception do not speak English - nobody spoke French either ( despite the French flag displayed at the reception). Elevator wasn't working well - I was stuck for 2 minutes inside of it. A bit of an unpleasant experience.

Pros: Friendly staff. Quiet residential side street 5 mins walk to castle and marina. Good breakfast - served not buffet as was quiet after end of season. Short walk to the bus station (otogar) with buses direct to Izmir city and airport, beaches and beatiful Alaçatı. Large supermarket close by.

Cons: Hard to think of anything in particular. No english TV channels!

Pros: Relatively close to the city centre (marina) and good breakfast.

Pros: The owners are so nice and welcoming and the rooms were clean. The hotel is up a short steep hill which is no problem for anyone other than elderly probably and excellently located for walks on the main street and eating/shopping at the harbor. Not many choices for breakfast, but there was a fresh baked pastry or bread each morning that was quite tasty.

Cons: Very good price for the location, but this hotel is extremely dated!!! The beds are quite hard and the walls thin. There was only one electrical outlet in the room located in the bathroom, and it was hanging out of the wall and didn't work so no way to use hairdryer etc. I would recommend this hotel to budget travelers only.

Pros: The hotel staff - owner Bulent, in particular - was very welcoming, eager to please and happy to offer help if requested. I spent a good amount of time at the hotel just talking with Bulent about many different things as he is a very interesting guy. Also, the location couldn't be better - just next to the castle in center of town but set up on the hill away from the crowds down below.

Cons: the pillow was a little unforgiving, but this is relatively minor

Pros: This hotel is located on a hill overlooking the town of Cesme and has beautiful views of the harbour, which is quite stunning at night. There is a large patio area on the 3rd floor for all guests and you can enjoy a drink while taking in the view. a Turkish breakfast is included in the hotel rate and is quite substantial. Hotel is quite clean and a great value. It is also very conveniently located next to the castle and just a 5 minute walk down to the harbour. Hotel staff are great and make you feel like part of the family.

Cons: Our room was a bit on the small side.

Pros: The friendly couple that owns the hotel. Smiling and caring -something you dont see often nowadays. We did not show on the night of our reservation by mistake and they charged us but they offered the room for free th enext night.

Pros: I never encountered such an incredible hotel service. Hotel Manager is unbelievable. Your stay will be a wonderful experience. I can only say go and try it out.

Cons: Tended to be a bit noisy later on at night but then I am 64 years old and most of the fellow guests were much much younger. My problem, not theirs.

Pros: Best hotel I have stayed in cesme, Everything in the hotel was great ,the reception staff was very good and helpful The meals were delicious and many choices. Thanks to all chefs and restaurant staff Dilaila peach was great a place with shuttle ,with a wonderful restaurant (Especially Mert)

Pros: The air condition was excellent. The hotel bus to sea and beach of hotel was good.There were plenty of foods for breakfast and dinner actually everything was there.

Cons: The hotel staff were good except the reception which was not so helpful and there was not a brochure to know where to go or even the staff did not help. The first night room which they gave us was so little and there was a bad odor and smells bad .we told them but they said it will be good if you open the door but we found that it is because of thermal pools in cesme .we asked them to change the room and the new room was good but we lost one night could not sleep that night.it was supposed that hotel arrange breakfast and lunch and dinner but actually there was no lunch and the breakfast was till 1 and there was some breads and sweets instead.

Cons: Firstly I paid to much money for three nights for 3 in duplex room with full board £507 but absolutely wasting money because supposed to be 4 star hotel but condition was even lower than 2 star. Secondly supposed to be full board ( breakfast,lunch, and dinner) but restaurant was open for breakfast and was continuing till 1 pm with breakfast stuff and than shut till 7:30 pm this means breakfast and lunch was the same. The food was very basic and less options. Cleaning was absolutely poor and dirty metres , pillow and dirty bathroom. The pictures of the hotel in the web and travel agent is completely are very very old and possibly first 6 months of the hotel age . I totally waste my money for this hotel and I never over go back to this hotel and recommend to anyone. Please tell people the true the conditions of the hotel before people making a book with a lot of money. Thank you

Pros: There was a third party business by the pool named 1453 Osmanli. Without this, there would be absolutely nothing that attracted me to this hotel. The employee ozgur was very helpful and kind throughout our stay assisting us with all our needs.

Cons: The concept of the hotel was a full board however once we arrived we realised that food was all that was included which tasted terrible was mostly cold. Even a glass of coke was with charge. The boss of the hotel was very rude and barely smiled. I believe the name of this person was emrah and me and my friends felt uncomfortable around him. We were not allowed to bring alcohol from outside and the hotel was way overpriced. The staff generally were all very friendly however we could tell that they were not being treated fairly by their superiors. Rats everywhere inside the rooms and outside and once we asked members of staff about the issue they said that it’s normal and they will not harm us. Definitely would not recommend anyone to stay here.
