7.7 Good
Pros: The rooms and property were great. Really nice spot in a otherwise bad city.
Cons: The restaurant staff were inattentive and the food was poor. We had trouble finding the waiter but when it came time to tip she hovered over us until we finished....
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff in the restaurant were amazing
Cons: Staff at the front desk
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing! Their were 8 people in our group and everyone received excellent service from the waitresses, front desk, and drivers. The restaurant was so convenient. Food was good and we ate several meals there. We would stay there again!
Cons: No.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Staff were nice.
Cons: The first room we got smelled horrible and it made me throw up. It also had flys. I asked to be changed and luckily they had an "extra" room and hoped that person wouldn't check in. Second room was better. shower looked dirty and bathtub was scraped. I decided to stay closer to the airport a day before flying back home since we were staying in San Pedro. Big mistake as I was so uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Food and drinks were great. Loved the option of the on-site shuttle which we utilized for airport transfers and to go to dinner.
Cons: Can’t say there was really anything negative about our stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was soft. The breakfast was decent. The cleanliness was ok. The shuttle service was good. There are lunch buffets. While you are not "downtown", there are some shops near by. There is a souvenir shop at the location, but would advise other locations for cheaper prices.
Cons: There were a number of ants, nothing ridiculous, but noticeable. While there are only two floors, there is no elevator. It's not too much of a deal as the staff will assist to move luggage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed. Beautiful pool and courtyard. Food at the restaurant was decent. Location to airport great.
Cons: The power would go off and on sporadically. Gift shop credit card system was down.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Service was a little slow in the bar and at the restaurant.
7.0 Good
Pros: This was my second visit during this trip. It met expectations, so I came back before I left.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was phenomenal. We were able to get our room early and the wait staff in the lounge and by the pool were great especially Dayan. Shuttle service to and from the airport was great
9.2 Excellent
Pros: lovely room - always clean with a great whirlpool bath. Also fab cocktails by the pool!!
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are absolutely lovely! The restaurant staff was very friendly, attentive and very good at their jobs. The food was delicious. It is an excellent place to stay.
The Great House Inn - Belize City - Building

8.6 Excellent (335 reviews)
₹ 10,717+

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it, very charming
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great value. Simple Place - not a lot of charm but better than the Radisson chain next door. BI room. Very clean. Nice bedding great shower. Friendly staff
Cons: Not very soundproof. Windows are frosted so unless You open them, you cannot see outside. Our room was right off the lobby so maybe it is quieter elsewhere.
6.5 Good
Pros: It's in a converted colonial mansion, which is very charming. The wide porch is amazing in the evening. Room and reservation ready on arrival. Room was very clean.
Cons: It's in a converted colonial mansion, with all the quirks of an old house. There's an odd split thing going on whereby the bottom-floor stuff (restaurant, bar, some other stuff) is not at all connected with the hotel. It doesn't seem to be a great location, but it's not clear that there would be a better location in Belize City. Contrary to some listings, there is no airport shuttle (not necessarily a negative of the place, but a shortcoming of the listings).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very limited in the selection. But, that was not a detractor, since we located a suitable place within 5 minute walk of our location that served a hearty breakfast at a reasonable price.
Cons: The restaurant/club(The 501 Hub) was pretty loud until about 1100pm. So, if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs(my wife did). They are on the first floor and the hotel on second and third floors.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel was wonderful to include the staff and the room. The bed was very comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: seperated bathroom with good shower and hairdryer, large room with fridge
Cons: Hotel is between antique and run down
9.7 Excellent
Pros: nice location on the water front. The only nice, safe area in Belize City
7.0 Good
Pros: The colonial style. The receptionist. The singing birds.
Cons: Not sure how to get to the pool. Small wine measures. Having to go to the bakery for breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff Good location (north side) Relaxed environment Comfortable rooms
8.0 Excellent
Pros: front desk staff was very nice.
Cons: thought there was a shuttle to the airport...there was not. Restaurant located downstairs was a bit odd....
7.0 Good
Pros: There was really good service in restaurant.
Cons: Windows couldn't been shut, so there was much noise from outside.
6.0 Good
Pros: The property has a great location, free parking, and a easy, welcoming check-in. It is close to some of the better restaurants in Belize City, along with a quick walk to the Caye Ferries.
Cons: The room was uncomfortably unclean. From hair around the sink and on towels, to visible stains on the sheets, and a musty, unclean smell, I had a very uneasy stay and a restless night. Further, there was a significantly slow drain in the bathtub, resulting in the tub being 33% full only a few minutes after turning on the shower. Some may not mind this, but it is my biggest hotel pet peeve. I would not book this property again, or recommend it based on my night there.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had such a lovely stay at the B&B of Oty and Gabe. They could not have been more friendly and helpful! The hotel is in a quite area of Belize City, only a 15 minutes drive from the international airport. There is a nice little bakery nearby, as well as some supermarkets and restaurant (and it’s safe to walk within 5 to 10 minutes). The room was very comfy (the bed great!) and clean and the breakfast delicious. We will definately return at the end of our trip!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was substantial and tasty. Location a bit out of the way, but I wanted to stay here for proximity to airport. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. Speaks excellent English.
Cons: Noisy night from green space across the street from locals partying, but noise shut down before midnight.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gabby, Ate, Mark and Cathy were great!!! We felt safe and in walking distance of food and restaurants.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The room was very outdated. And not very clean but it was just for one night so not a big deal.
6.0 Good
Pros: The people who run it are really sweet and caring
Cons: There was a lot of dust especially behind the bed, some windows didn’t open or couldn’t stay open, the shower/bath were full of lime scale (kalkaanslag)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts, good location for exploring Belize City.
Cons: A little dated, needs some updates.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people, setting and decor were all delightful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were so warm and welcoming! They made sure I felt at home. The breakfast was so delicious and they even gave me a ride to the airport! I would definitely stay there again!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: They immediately made us feel at home and part of their family. Gaby and Oty were the best part of our stay! I wish we had more time to spend with them.

8.0 Excellent
Cons: Apparently due to the location, the first floor smelled a bit of mold or mildew.
6.0 Good
Pros: We only stayed for one night in order to catch a flight to the States. The rooms need a face lift.
Cons: You need to pay for the shuttle, which only ran a few times a day. This could mean a long wait time at the airport and the airport is limited on everything, restaurants, bars, bathrooms etc.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Could have been a bit more variety at breakfast
6.7 Good
Pros: Location , restaurants and bar.
Cons: Despite turning up at 16.00 had no room available. They found one but it had 2 small doubles rather than 1 bed. Air con did not work in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and nice hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful, friendly staff, beautiful room, great food and drinks, and nice pool. At sunset, walk out to back gate to the street along the water and head right to go to the Belize sign and lighthouse where you’ll find families hanging at the park and great street food. Great location in a great city.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great!
Cons: The bathroom had hair in the shower that was not mine and the hot water did not work and I had to change rooms.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Good location and great staff. Good 2 for 1 happy hour at the pool bar.
Cons: Building was a little tired but definitely a good place to stay if you find yourself in Belize City before heading elsewhere in the country.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay in Belize. Very nice area. In the evening lot of birds come and view from rooftop is amazing. Two swimming pools are really great. Rooms also very nice.
Cons: No restaurants nearby except for their in-house restaurant.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Not you Standaard hotel, lots nice corners and garden. Very good tavern bar. Two nice pools. Friendly staff.
Cons: Found nothing to dislike.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is great - right on the water There are 2 pools and a nice outside area Staff were great Close to the ferry Rooms in main building have been renovated. Not the annex
Cons: We have stayed before and rooms always have a musty smell. Music at the outside bar to 10 pm. I had a headache. All you could hear was the base
7.0 Good
Pros: Food was all great! Location perfect. Staff wonderful.
St. George's Caye Resort - Belize City - Pool
6
9.1 Excellent (14 reviews)
₹ 29,794+
Overview Reviews
Located in St. George's Caye, St. George's Caye Resort is by the ocean and within the region of Museum of Belize and Baron Bliss Lighthouse. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The resort was lovely, relaxing and clean. Loved it!
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was very flexible and helpful. We really liked the kayaks, paddle boats, snorkel equipment, etc. that were free and available to use at any time.
Cons: The bed was hard and the pillows flat.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great!
Cons: Lots of bug's (no see em's) so take plenty of bug spray
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The meals are a set menu and served at a set time, except for breakfast. The food was prepared well but we would've liked to see more variety, like more seafood. The staff were excellent! They were very friendly and knowledgeable!
Cons: It would've been nice to have some nightly entertainment. We were there during the slow season, the resort and the island that it is on are small, so there isn't anything to do after dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This resort was the perfect distance from the airport (20 minutes to the marina and then a 20 minute boat ride) and while the food and accommodations were excellent I want to single out the staff at St George's Caye resort as uniquely perfect. Their hands off, but available approach to each guests experience felt personal and perfect. There was no aggressive 'sign up for xxx package/excursion' and they also provided free access to several things to do on the island that did not require hand holding (although it was available if you chose it) and were quite fun activities to do privately (kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling, etc...). I can honestly say that the food was top notch as well as being completely delicious. We were exposed to several different local dishes for lunch and dinner meals while providing a spread of options available for breakfast. My partner and I are planning to take a larger group back here at some point in the near future because we enjoyed it so much!
Cons: I really do not have any negative feelings about the experience. I'll say that we had some issues with bugs in our room at times, but honestly thats not the resorts fault. They keep everything clean and we had bug spray, but kept our villa door open for the breeze so was more on us than anything.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great relaxing place to stay. The staff is great and make sure you have everything you need.
7.9 Good
Pros: Experiencing this new destination with a loved one is top on the list but we did enjoy the hospitality of the staff, the food and of coarse snorkeling the second largest barrier reef on this planet.
Cons: although the setting was very private and offered solitude, we would have enjoyed to have the choice to venture out in the evenings and experience some night life like dancing or simply walk the streets
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The food was great and plentiful with a wild variety over the week. The cabanas were spacious and very comfortable and well appointed. The staff was always ready to serve and always with a smile. We had a great time. There were plenty of activities if you want to stay busy, but a great place to go if you want to take it easy in a relaxed environment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to relax, beautiful location and well kept, great scuba diving location and snorkeling. Food was great! Staff was very accommodating. Great place for couples looking for a relaxing experience.
Cons: Bartender was great but the drinks were weak. Pool needs work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very relaxing. It is a small island with no other resorts or businesses and the only place you get wifi is at the bar/dining hall. This helped to get to know other travellers staying there. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything we wanted. The ground was swept clean everyday and the room was made up while we were at breakfast.

Overview Reviews
Sea Breeze Guest House offers accommodation in Belize City. Water taxis are located just a 2-minute walk while downtown is a 5-minute walk from the property. Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport is 14 km away. The Belize Museum is just 2 minutes' away and the bus terminal 12-minutes.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: During the night i saw a mouse in my room.i was so scared that I run calling the owner. I bought a cake and the mouse was smelling. When she came in my room I saw the mouse again but she said that never had happened before. I told her that was because the front door was open and also it was a big space under the door of my room so he came in from the street for sure. Anyway I think that was to expensive for the quality of the place. Also I couldn't open the window so there was no natural ligth coming inside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modest & basic but clean and accurate. Only 2-3 min walk from water taxi. Owner ordered good price airport transfer for me.
6.0 Good
Pros: A decent place to stay for a night or to and very close to the taxi ferries. Seemed to be a safe area.
Cons: Not much happening in the area. Reception mostly empty - staff was sitting around in their private room. Not much of a vibe. No breakfast is served.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was helpful.
Cons: The room was stuffy. The common part was clean but very shabby like the rest of the place. OK for an overnight stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, beside water taxi. Near the lovely Museum. Perfect for 1 night stay. Walking distance to everything I needed. Manager very helpful.
Cons: Noisy neighbors with music and barking dogs.
5.0 Okay
Pros: For the price it was OK
Cons: The owner/manager should take a course in public relations, a very miserable person. While probably necessary in Belize City it was not very welcoming to be confronted with rolls of razor wire all over the property.

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were very accommodating! We were able to arrange transport from the water taxi station to the inn and from the inn to the airport the next day. They were able to whip us up dinner on short notice and the meal was very nice. Great chef in house. Prepared us a great breakfast too!
Cons: The room was much smaller than expected. There was also a mothball odor in the room.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: difficult to say, not really anything
Cons: Belize city is a shady town that you should avoid. The hotel is outdated. We arranged transport with the hotel from the harbour, but they were too late, and we had to take another (more expensive) taxi. But the most dissapointing is the unfriendly service and the way they try to earn as much money from you as possible. Happy that we only stayed 1 night.
7.5 Good
Pros: the red hut inn hotel. Reception with a smile, Quick check-in, calm, cleanliness of the premises, 14 MN from the international airport which will cost you 40 $ BZ. Free coffee in the morning. We took the room at 1:00 PM everything was installed air conditioning ect ...
Cons: the red hut inn ok hotel perfect. NADA

Pros: Shuttle to airport worked super well. We were able to enjoy a nice dinner, cooked by one of the staff (for a few belize dollar). The room with private bathroom was spacious and quiet.
Cons: nothing to mention, except there are lots of mosquitos on the roof, but owners provide repellent if you don't have it.

Pros: Privacy, clean, friendliness, kitchen, near 3very
Cons: Clean, friendly, quiet and near all I needed.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is only good if your going to the airport, since its on the way of leaving town. The room was good for Belize standards, I was in San Pedro before staying in this hotel and the one in San Pedro was worse than this. With AC and a big bed, bathroom just fair.
Cons: Expensive room (50$US/night) with no breakfast.

Pros: The staff was amazing and the hotel is 2min from the water taxi and 20min walk from the bus station. We received a lot of information to enjoy Belize city in the safest way possible. Thanks to Sidney and Shuana for the warmth welcome! We felt like VIP guests!
7.0 Good
Pros: Fluffy towels and a balcony with a view
Cons: Stairs but then no view rather have the balcony and cope with stairs
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very basic accommodations. Clean, lovely staff. Good for a one night stay. Close to ferries.
Cons: Room too small. Bed too small. Only a sheet for cover, had to use our picnic blanket to stay warm. Decor was minimal and just not pleasing.
6.5 Good
Pros: It was convenient for one night to stay relatively close to the bus terminal. It is also in the centre and so convenient for shopping and dining.
Cons: It is a very noisy place so if you are after a decent sleep, forget it. The room I had near the water's edge was comfy enough but other guests tended to congregate near the window, chatting away on their phones etc. The bathroom was only merely adequate. Perhaps rooms on the second floor are better. I had difficulties getting a taxi ordered and waited at least 30 min.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Super friendly staff
Cons: Not very nice neighboro=hood nor city. Ok if you need to take an early flight the next day
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This was a refreshing experience. Just downtown of the city, close to water taxis and the few attractions there are. The staff was amazingly welcoming and made me feel at home.
Cons: Nothing.
7.0 Good
Pros: the hotel is really near to the ferries (also called "water taxi"). It can be very usefull if you gotta stay overnight in the city (if you got a plane to catch in the morning or if your plane lands after 4pm). There are no ferries before 10h30 and after 17h for the islands. the personnel of the hotel is really kind and sympatic, you really cannot complain about it!!
Cons: nothing to complain about the hotel! but because of the schedule of the ferries, it is not the good location to go on a tour from the islands during the day.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff very welcoming , helpful and friendly. You have a free coffee in the morning Room very clean , very quite at night with hot water in the shared bathroom! Street food close by and the water taxi 2min away from the hotel. Nice vue when you chill outside.
Cons: It’s general I’m Bélize but a bit expensive . Otherwise nothing really , I enjoyed my stay .
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff is very helpful, nice warm people. Sidney (the staff employee ) was even taking me to get late night food and even paid for it. The let me also to borrow a tea pot and some accessories. The beds were quite comfortable. The sink is located inside the room, and the toilet and the show is located separately. The room had a cubic fridge which was difficult to adjust - always freezed the content. Sidney also provided with ice from his personal ice-maker.
Cons: Did not like the fact there were no tea/coffee makers, small shampoo/lotion as it is a standard in the US. The TV's are located too high and uncomfortable to watch. The door are not sound proof so you an hear other people leaving/entering loudly from 6am. If you room was facing the street, people were yelling in the morning and unload some metal plates... no sleep. I had to buy ear plugs to sleep. No tea or coffee offered. Had to request to replace lamps, the sink was plugged etc. You have to ask to get a room service.

Cons: Service was terrible. It took 3 hours one day for me to get towels. Internet/cable kept going in and out. Room safe had to be changed out twice.
5.1 Okay
Pros: free breakfast
Cons: facilities were out-dated shower's only temp was very hot staff rarely smiled
4.0 Okay
Pros: The was a casino for entertainment. The hotel did promise a water view and that waa nice to look out of the window.
Cons: Upon entry, there was a horrible sewage smell throughout and in the elevators. We did not received keys to our room until our last night there. The bellman had to escort us to our room and use his key. It rained through our window which left the floor wet
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: I did not stay here due to some bad ratings. I cancelled this reservation within Joe's of making it and they tried to keep $145 of my money. They sent me an email stating I needed to cancel the day before I made the reservation. contact my credit card to dispute that $145. Something is definitely wrong there.
6.0 Good

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners and staff were delightful, easy, breakfast was great, everything was spotless and quiet.

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were very accommodating!
NADA

7.7 Good
Pros: The rooms and property were great.
