Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great hospitality provided by the staff! The rooms are very spacious and super clean. Breakfast fast excellent!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Owners and staff were delightful, easy, breakfast was great, everything was spotless and quiet.
Cons: only thing that needed improvement was shower water temperature---it was either really hot or cold, very difficult to adjust.

Pros: We had such a lovely stay at the B&B of Oty and Gabe. They could not have been more friendly and helpful! The hotel is in a quite area of Belize City, only a 15 minutes drive from the international airport. There is a nice little bakery nearby, as well as some supermarkets and restaurant (and it’s safe to walk within 5 to 10 minutes). The room was very comfy (the bed great!) and clean and the breakfast delicious. We will definately return at the end of our trip!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Gabby, Ate, Mark and Cathy were great!!! We felt safe and in walking distance of food and restaurants.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything, the hosts were beyond helpful and delightful, a wealth of information, that we decided to take a later boat because we talked so much over their delicious breakfast. I would go back in a heartbeat. They suggest a restaurant that was a 10min walk away from the house, the area felt safe. And there was a lot of interesting wildlife on the walk back home
Okay 4.0
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The room was very outdated. And not very clean but it was just for one night so not a big deal.
Good 6.0
Pros: The people who run it are really sweet and caring
Cons: There was a lot of dust especially behind the bed, some windows didn’t open or couldn’t stay open, the shower/bath were full of lime scale (kalkaanslag)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts who ran the BnB were wonderful. Made a lovely breakfast and was able to visit with them leisurely before leaving for airport to head home. Very accommodating volunteered to take us to store .
Cons: Enjoyed it all
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Wonderful hosts, good location for exploring Belize City.
Cons: A little dated, needs some updates.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners were so warm and welcoming! They made sure I felt at home. The breakfast was so delicious and they even gave me a ride to the airport! I would definitely stay there again!
Good 7.0
Pros: The hosts were very friendly
Cons: It is dated. I believe it is a house converted into a Bed and Breakfast. It could use a deep cleaning. The linen was clean but the windows and mirrors were not, It was difficult to find - especially at night.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: They immediately made us feel at home and part of their family. Gaby and Oty were the best part of our stay! I wish we had more time to spend with them.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved it, very charming
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great value. Simple Place - not a lot of charm but better than the Radisson chain next door. BI room. Very clean. Nice bedding great shower. Friendly staff
Cons: Not very soundproof. Windows are frosted so unless You open them, you cannot see outside. Our room was right off the lobby so maybe it is quieter elsewhere.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good location, safe and well kept place
Cons: Restaurant in the corner, noisy at night
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was super friendly and very accommodating, the room was very nice and exceptionally clean.
Cons: Location wasn't safe to walk around at night. Lack of restaurants in the area
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was very limited in the selection. But, that was not a detractor, since we located a suitable place within 5 minute walk of our location that served a hearty breakfast at a reasonable price.
Cons: The restaurant/club(The 501 Hub) was pretty loud until about 1100pm. So, if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs(my wife did). They are on the first floor and the hotel on second and third floors.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything about the hotel was wonderful to include the staff and the room. The bed was very comfortable.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: seperated bathroom with good shower and hairdryer, large room with fridge
Cons: Hotel is between antique and run down
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was ideal for access to the marina. The colonial style of the property was beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The second lock on the door to my room did not work which made me a little apprehensive but there is on site 24 hour security.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: nice location on the water front. The only nice, safe area in Belize City
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very friendly staff Good location (north side) Relaxed environment Comfortable rooms
Excellent 8.0
Pros: front desk staff was very nice.
Cons: thought there was a shuttle to the airport...there was not. Restaurant located downstairs was a bit odd....
Good 6.0
Pros: The property has a great location, free parking, and a easy, welcoming check-in. It is close to some of the better restaurants in Belize City, along with a quick walk to the Caye Ferries.
Cons: The room was uncomfortably unclean. From hair around the sink and on towels, to visible stains on the sheets, and a musty, unclean smell, I had a very uneasy stay and a restless night. Further, there was a significantly slow drain in the bathtub, resulting in the tub being 33% full only a few minutes after turning on the shower. Some may not mind this, but it is my biggest hotel pet peeve. I would not book this property again, or recommend it based on my night there.

Pros: There are not many places to choose from in Belize City. I only stayed there because I had an early morning flight and was coming from Guatemala. That said, I booked a hotel in the city for a little comfort my last night. But ate at the restaurant and ended up with food poisoning and was lucky to even make it on the flight the next day. The lady at the hotel pharmacy/general store was super kind and gave me the right treatment to help my stomach. Overall, it is very overpriced for what you get. But as said, it is one of the better options in town and the room was comfortable and big.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Súper confy bed, personal very nice and polite especially the Restaurant waitress wonderfull People. Hotel in general was Worth the Price
Cons: No Kids Menu, dinner prices to much for what it is
Good 7.7
Pros: The rooms and property were great. Really nice spot in a otherwise bad city.
Cons: The restaurant staff were inattentive and the food was poor. We had trouble finding the waiter but when it came time to tip she hovered over us until we finished....
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing! Their were 8 people in our group and everyone received excellent service from the waitresses, front desk, and drivers. The restaurant was so convenient. Food was good and we ate several meals there. We would stay there again!
Cons: No.
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: Staff were nice.
Cons: The first room we got smelled horrible and it made me throw up. It also had flys. I asked to be changed and luckily they had an "extra" room and hoped that person wouldn't check in. Second room was better. shower looked dirty and bathtub was scraped. I decided to stay closer to the airport a day before flying back home since we were staying in San Pedro. Big mistake as I was so uncomfortable.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location to airport and city; friendly staff; outside ambience - pool, plants.
Cons: Light bulb out in room and, although I wrote a note asking for it to be replaced and placed the bulb on top of the note, it wasn't replaced during the 3 days I was there. Also, VERY slow tub drain and air-conditioning stuck at one temperature (cold) no matter what temp. it was set for.
Good 7.4
Pros: Beautiful gardens and courtyard. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good.
Cons: We were 4 guests in a room. We paid the extra rate for the 2 additional guests, however, they did not receive the complimentary breakfast and were charged the regular price for it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The bed was soft. The breakfast was decent. The cleanliness was ok. The shuttle service was good. There are lunch buffets. While you are not "downtown", there are some shops near by. There is a souvenir shop at the location, but would advise other locations for cheaper prices.
Cons: There were a number of ants, nothing ridiculous, but noticeable. While there are only two floors, there is no elevator. It's not too much of a deal as the staff will assist to move luggage.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff very friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed. Beautiful pool and courtyard. Food at the restaurant was decent. Location to airport great.
Cons: The power would go off and on sporadically. Gift shop credit card system was down.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Service was a little slow in the bar and at the restaurant.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: lovely room - always clean with a great whirlpool bath. Also fab cocktails by the pool!!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice stay. Breakfast was great! Room size, pool, and breakfast.
Cons: The only compaint is that the toilet did not flush well and the sink was clogged.

Cons: If you are there on a day cruise ships aren’t in port hardly anything is open around the town.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was great
Cons: No hot tub or bathtub for relaxing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff excellent. Many helped us with taxis and shuttles. It's clean and the food was good.

Excellent 9.0
Cons: It was very clean . Nice employees
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was great!
Cons: The bathroom had hair in the shower that was not mine and the hot water did not work and I had to change rooms.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Good location and great staff. Good 2 for 1 happy hour at the pool bar.
Cons: Building was a little tired but definitely a good place to stay if you find yourself in Belize City before heading elsewhere in the country.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was wonderfully helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Be aware that there is a charge to use the shuttle.
Good 7.0
Pros: Tower Room Upgrade Quiet, roomy, comfortable bed, adequate furnishings, good internet, friendly staff, good bar food. Easy walk to city centre. Problem with the bill was quickly settled. I would stay here again if ever I had to go back to Belize City
Cons: Little things didn't work. The shower temp kept changing, the bar fridge wouldn't turn on, the Magic Fingers mattress didn't work, the TV had to be reset to receive channels, the time on the bedside clock was wrong and I couldn't reset .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean and great location

Pros: The staff was very flexible and helpful. We really liked the kayaks, paddle boats, snorkel equipment, etc. that were free and available to use at any time.
Cons: The bed was hard and the pillows flat.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Staff was great!
Cons: Lots of bug's (no see em's) so take plenty of bug spray
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The meals are a set menu and served at a set time, except for breakfast. The food was prepared well but we would've liked to see more variety, like more seafood. The staff were excellent! They were very friendly and knowledgeable!
Cons: It would've been nice to have some nightly entertainment. We were there during the slow season, the resort and the island that it is on are small, so there isn't anything to do after dinner.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is absolutely amazing! The customer service is out of this world and the prices are reasonable. I cannot say enough good things about this place from the food to the wildlife to the people and the excursions, I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This resort was the perfect distance from the airport (20 minutes to the marina and then a 20 minute boat ride) and while the food and accommodations were excellent I want to single out the staff at St George's Caye resort as uniquely perfect. Their hands off, but available approach to each guests experience felt personal and perfect. There was no aggressive 'sign up for xxx package/excursion' and they also provided free access to several things to do on the island that did not require hand holding (although it was available if you chose it) and were quite fun activities to do privately (kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling, etc...). I can honestly say that the food was top notch as well as being completely delicious. We were exposed to several different local dishes for lunch and dinner meals while providing a spread of options available for breakfast. My partner and I are planning to take a larger group back here at some point in the near future because we enjoyed it so much!
Cons: I really do not have any negative feelings about the experience. I'll say that we had some issues with bugs in our room at times, but honestly thats not the resorts fault. They keep everything clean and we had bug spray, but kept our villa door open for the breeze so was more on us than anything.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great relaxing place to stay. The staff is great and make sure you have everything you need.
Good 7.9
Pros: Experiencing this new destination with a loved one is top on the list but we did enjoy the hospitality of the staff, the food and of coarse snorkeling the second largest barrier reef on this planet.
Cons: although the setting was very private and offered solitude, we would have enjoyed to have the choice to venture out in the evenings and experience some night life like dancing or simply walk the streets
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The food was great and plentiful with a wild variety over the week. The cabanas were spacious and very comfortable and well appointed. The staff was always ready to serve and always with a smile. We had a great time. There were plenty of activities if you want to stay busy, but a great place to go if you want to take it easy in a relaxed environment.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place to relax, beautiful location and well kept, great scuba diving location and snorkeling. Food was great! Staff was very accommodating. Great place for couples looking for a relaxing experience.
Cons: Bartender was great but the drinks were weak. Pool needs work.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was very relaxing. It is a small island with no other resorts or businesses and the only place you get wifi is at the bar/dining hall. This helped to get to know other travellers staying there. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything we wanted. The ground was swept clean everyday and the room was made up while we were at breakfast.

Pros: I had a nice couple of relaxing days here,it has a nice balcony you can sit on & relax, the TV in my room was nice it had some English channels
Cons: Not much
Good 6.0
Pros: Location.
Cons: During the night i saw a mouse in my room.i was so scared that I run calling the owner. I bought a cake and the mouse was smelling. When she came in my room I saw the mouse again but she said that never had happened before. I told her that was because the front door was open and also it was a big space under the door of my room so he came in from the street for sure. Anyway I think that was to expensive for the quality of the place. Also I couldn't open the window so there was no natural ligth coming inside.
Good 7.5
Pros: The A/C in the room, calm emplacement in the city, next to the water taxi, secure place(gate always locked)
Cons: No kitchen
Okay 5.0
Pros: For the price it was OK
Cons: The owner/manager should take a course in public relations, a very miserable person. While probably necessary in Belize City it was not very welcoming to be confronted with rolls of razor wire all over the property.
Good 7.0
Pros: Nice comfortable room with decent bed. Helpful staff. Liked that they had a kettle you could use.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The location was perfect and the price was very reasonable. It’s not a fancy place but it’s perfect if you need somewhere simple to stay.

Good 7.5
Pros: The staff were very accommodating! We were able to arrange transport from the water taxi station to the inn and from the inn to the airport the next day. They were able to whip us up dinner on short notice and the meal was very nice. Great chef in house. Prepared us a great breakfast too!
Cons: The room was much smaller than expected. There was also a mothball odor in the room.
Good 7.5
Pros: the red hut inn hotel. Reception with a smile, Quick check-in, calm, cleanliness of the premises, 14 MN from the international airport which will cost you 40 $ BZ. Free coffee in the morning. We took the room at 1:00 PM everything was installed air conditioning ect ...
Cons: the red hut inn ok hotel perfect. NADA
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great staff one of the managers is a chef and personally cooks food for the guests and very good with local tips I would stay there again
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfortable stay one of the managers is a chef and cooks for the guests I would go again
Good 6.0
Pros: Hostel is ok for overnight stay when you need to catch your plane next day. Small but clean double room with AC, staff was friendly. Hotel offers airport transferts (for additional fee). There is nothing interesting in the surroundings but area is safe. If you would like to eat some food we recommend Moe's Pizza Grill.
Cons: Shared bathroom could be renovated - bathtube is quite old. There is one part of window which can't be closed so AC could not work properly. In addition net against mosquitos was missing so we spent quite hot night with biting mosquitos.
Good 7.5
Pros: Shuttle to airport worked super well. We were able to enjoy a nice dinner, cooked by one of the staff (for a few belize dollar). The room with private bathroom was spacious and quiet.
Cons: nothing to mention, except there are lots of mosquitos on the roof, but owners provide repellent if you don't have it.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The rooms was clean and big enough with large beds. Nice shared terrace where you can sit and relax.
Cons: Upon arrival we found out that the economy double room had a shared bathroom. It turned out that it was mentioned in small letters on booking, but we thought it wasn’t clearly mentioned. The air conditioning was old and noisy and leaked. The sheets were polyester which wasn’t that comfortable. There is nothing to do around the hotel. All in all we found it too expensive for what you get.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was great and they helped to book tours and prepare dinner. Would absolutely stay again.

Pros: The location is only good if your going to the airport, since its on the way of leaving town. The room was good for Belize standards, I was in San Pedro before staying in this hotel and the one in San Pedro was worse than this. With AC and a big bed, bathroom just fair.
Cons: Expensive room (50$US/night) with no breakfast.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing and the hotel is 2min from the water taxi and 20min walk from the bus station. We received a lot of information to enjoy Belize city in the safest way possible. Thanks to Sidney and Shuana for the warmth welcome! We felt like VIP guests!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Very basic accommodations. Clean, lovely staff. Good for a one night stay. Close to ferries.
Cons: Room too small. Bed too small. Only a sheet for cover, had to use our picnic blanket to stay warm. Decor was minimal and just not pleasing.
Good 6.5
Pros: It was convenient for one night to stay relatively close to the bus terminal. It is also in the centre and so convenient for shopping and dining.
Cons: It is a very noisy place so if you are after a decent sleep, forget it. The room I had near the water's edge was comfy enough but other guests tended to congregate near the window, chatting away on their phones etc. The bathroom was only merely adequate. Perhaps rooms on the second floor are better. I had difficulties getting a taxi ordered and waited at least 30 min.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Super friendly staff
Cons: Not very nice neighboro=hood nor city. Ok if you need to take an early flight the next day
Excellent 8.8
Pros: This was a refreshing experience. Just downtown of the city, close to water taxis and the few attractions there are. The staff was amazingly welcoming and made me feel at home.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I loved the location, close to the bridge and town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Nice view from the terrace.
Good 7.0
Pros: the hotel is really near to the ferries (also called "water taxi"). It can be very usefull if you gotta stay overnight in the city (if you got a plane to catch in the morning or if your plane lands after 4pm). There are no ferries before 10h30 and after 17h for the islands. the personnel of the hotel is really kind and sympatic, you really cannot complain about it!!
Cons: nothing to complain about the hotel! but because of the schedule of the ferries, it is not the good location to go on a tour from the islands during the day.
Good 7.9
Pros: Staff very welcoming , helpful and friendly. You have a free coffee in the morning Room very clean , very quite at night with hot water in the shared bathroom! Street food close by and the water taxi 2min away from the hotel. Nice vue when you chill outside.
Cons: It’s general I’m Bélize but a bit expensive . Otherwise nothing really , I enjoyed my stay .
Okay 5.0
Pros: The staff is very helpful, nice warm people. Sidney (the staff employee ) was even taking me to get late night food and even paid for it. The let me also to borrow a tea pot and some accessories. The beds were quite comfortable. The sink is located inside the room, and the toilet and the show is located separately. The room had a cubic fridge which was difficult to adjust - always freezed the content. Sidney also provided with ice from his personal ice-maker.
Cons: Did not like the fact there were no tea/coffee makers, small shampoo/lotion as it is a standard in the US. The TV's are located too high and uncomfortable to watch. The door are not sound proof so you an hear other people leaving/entering loudly from 6am. If you room was facing the street, people were yelling in the morning and unload some metal plates... no sleep. I had to buy ear plugs to sleep. No tea or coffee offered. Had to request to replace lamps, the sink was plugged etc. You have to ask to get a room service.

Okay 5.1

Good 6.0
Pros: The staff were all super helpful and friendly, especially our bartender Duane.
Cons: The hotel and facilities are old and in need of refurbishment.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The go above an beyond to help.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Movie theater
Cons: Pool area
Good 6.0
Pros: the location and the cleanliness
Cons: Very old it needs to be remodeled There is no variety of food on the menu
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was hot and fresh every day. There were plenty of options and while served buffet style it was NOT the typical waffle press, bananas and bread like so many places in the states. They have an omelette bar where fresh egg, veggies and whatever else you want are made while you wait. Two of my three days the wait was bout three minutes and the third day was abou ten as there were a bunch of people in front of me. No big deal. The hotel is right on the coast so you’ll hear and feel the sea breeze. For me this is a positive. There are several nice food shops just past the pool. The food is not at the street vendor level as these are small little huts that are open regular hours and serve a few basic items. Fried Chicken is a weakness of mine and while the two different huts did not serve a brand name of chicken, it was authentically cooked while you wait. I know it was not frozen as they asked me if I wanted it well done or not . . . I love Belize! The tour kiosk is staffed by friendly knowledgeable staff who are very adept at helping you select tours. January 2020 has seen a lot of rain so many of the cave tours have been cancelled. Normally they know that at the time of bookings but be aware weather can close anything cave related. I did not visit the on site Casino or movie theater so I cannot comment on those. There are armed guards at the front of the building but all casinos have that. I never felt unsafe. Taxi’s are available around the clock to take you to the airport, bus station or the shopping district water taxi area. All in all the Ramada is a great place from which to stage the rest of your vacation in Belize.
Cons: The rooms were a little bit old and the bathtub has quite a few places where repairs have been effected. The shower nozzle sprays water all over but if you close the curtain you won’t get water everywhere. The room itself was very clean, just a little worn.
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Large pool
Cons: Not clean, run down, mattress uncomfortable
Good 7.0
Pros: The views
Cons: It is in sad shape and desperate need for an upgrade. Mold in the bathtub grout!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Staff is helpful and friendly
Cons: Very run down. The bathroom had painted sink and tub and that was mostly all peeled off. The chaise couch looked from the 70s and the cushion was flipped and reversed with the zipper facing out and had holes. No desire to find out if the other side was any better. Not enough outlets. I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. TV controls were confusing. Ended up using the back of the TV to turn it on. Couldn't figure out how to turn it off. The casino downstairs was very tobacco-y. WiFi was spotty.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Safe
Cons: Not safe neighbourhood
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I didn't know there would be a movie theater or that it was a casino. Having the entertainment options right there was a bonus. The bed was comfortable and staff super friendly.
Cons: The floors had a greasy feeling, so I couldn't go barefoot comfortably. Otherwise, there were no issues!
Okay 4.0
Pros: The view from the room was very nice. The matanince crew were very polite. The bed was great and the room service staff were fast and friendly.
Cons: The property was run down and in need of repairs and upkeep felt unloved by ownership. More exspensive than it should have been, due to state of the building.

Okay 4.6
Pros: As a single person I would have been able to cope, but my wife and daughter were with me and they needed more convenience and comfort.
Cons: Location the sense of poverty all around.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The huge bed.
Cons: Small parts of the floor were a little cracked.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Nothing really, they gave our room to another person even after we had made our reservation months before the actual date which we were supposed to stay at the hotel. The service of the organization and the way the host treated its guests was horrible and utterly disgraceful.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: None of it
Cons: All of it
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is a work in progress, the people work hard and when their work is done, this will be one of the nicest hotels in Belize City.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Poor customer service
