Cons: Both times we stayed there, about a week apart, we were given rooms right next to the elevators which ran all night long.

Cons: Valet parking is expensive, but very convenient.

Cons: I thought the hotel was in desperate need of a refresh or update. The rooms and the entire hotel seemed a bit dated. I stayed on the Captains Deck and the rooms were a bit small and did not impress. The sink did not drain properly. The most disappointing part of the trip was the breakfast which was never more than like warm at best. It come from the kitchen which is far away. The breakfast had 3 warm choices and one was always potatoes that were recycled from the night before. Not sure if I would spend that kind of money to stay at that hotel again.

Cons: Hotel could use some renovations. The decor in the hallways looks like it came from the 70s. The bathrooms are a little small, expecllly in the shower.

Cons: The amenities seems small and the decor needs an update. The staff was very accommodating and polite. The fitness center was well equipped

Cons: Had to pay and additional 20 dollars a day to park my own car. The hotel did not own the lot. The desk clerk filled out the passes incorrectly and I received a parking ticket. Took some arguing but I was able to get the hotel to reverse the parking charges so I can pay for the ticket.

Cons: Guest laundry was surprisingly expensive, especially compared to the Extended Stay America across the highway

Cons: The pool was down for repairs?

Cons: A first floor room would have been more convenient for pets.

Cons: Booked a stay-cation to enjoy the pool. Never informed that the pool was closed until AFTER we checked in and then it was a nightmare to cancel reservation and rebook. If the amenities list a pool, I expect the pool to be usable and not out of commission for months.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: Room was not clean enough. I found leftover food in the cupboard and cabinets were not wiped down as well as should be expected during a pandemic. Not enough cooking utensils or cleaning products provided. Overall, the hotel is in bad need of a makeover.

Cons: There really wasn't anything, as long as you're used to steady prop-plane noise, since the airport is next door.

Cons: When you walk in, it is like walking into a secured facility. After a certain hour, the door is locked and you are greeted by a security guard. There is an attendant watching a huge bank of secrecy cameras. The room is small (but it has a stove, which I guess makes it a suite). It lacked a iron and an ironing board, which I always find important.

Cons: This hotel is decidedly No Frills. It is far from the airport in downtown so you need a car. However it is a good place if you have a car and are staying overnight in Anchorage. The heavy security is a little weird.

Cons: Issue with homeless people outside and noise in parking lot late at night

Cons: There were stains on the floor of my room that people may not like. The rest of the room was good though. It isn't super modern of a room.

Cons: The hotel smelled, ice was only in the fourth floor. To make it worse there were no cups in the room. Non at all.

Cons: When we walked into the motel, there were people sleeping on the couches in the entry way with their luggage, children running around in and out of the pool area, screaming and hollering. The pool hours didn't seem to make a bit of difference, and they put is in a room directly across from the pool.

Cons: The internet was "down" for three of our four days there and they didn't seem to care about fixing it. Seemed to be a little irritated that I would ask when it was going to be fixed. The swimming pool and hot tub were out of order for 2.5 of our four day stay and again they couldn't tell me when it would be functional and didn't seem to care. We were there with a grandson and the swimming was one of the main reasons we selected this motel. The front desk people were nice but were young and not very experienced or helpful. I believe there is a management problem and generally a lack of customer service. The price also was too high as compared to other area motels.

Cons: The carpet wasn’t vacuumed and there was some kind of stain near the door.

Cons: Didn't have hot water all weekend. Front desk made excuses as to why there was no hot water. Not the front desks fault for no hot water but didn't bother to try and make the situation any better either.

Cons: Paint peeling in bathroom. Sinks dirty. Remote battery dead

Cons: As I told the staff upon checkout, please consider the extra expense that it would take to install toilet seat covers/lids & do not place the guests towels directly over the "otherwise open" toilet. It could not be too much for the added piece of mind for those spending their vacation (& our Anniversary) in your establishment.

Cons: My room (134) had a lot of noise from L street.

Cons: the sheets were dirty we had to have them bring us new sheets. The bathrroms are shared there is no bathroom in your room! if I would have known that I would not have booked this for 88 bucks! so when you shower you are showering in someone elses filth until they clean it again. Pretty gross.

Cons: Didn't realize when I booked that each room doesn't have its own restroom, you share restrooms and showers with everyone else on the floor, so I avoided showering during my stay as I didn't have any shower shoes. Also no paper towels in restrooms so you have to bring a wash cloth from your room. No housekeeping. Nothing fancy about the rooms, just a couple dressers, fridge, table, folding chair and a bed with 2 flat pillows. Nothing romantic about the place, so don't expect to impress your significant other here. My fiancé says I'm not allowed to book hotels for us anymore after this. If I'd have known what I was getting into would have spent a bit more for a nicer place.

Cons: There were no bathrooms in the room so that was kind of a pain. The bathrooms were down the hall and communal.

Cons: The bathroom didn't have exhaustion to air and the smell was terrible. The mattresses were awful and I woke up every day with pain in my back. They have a little convenient kitchen but no accessories, so I couldn't use that at all.

Cons: The bed was the lumpiest thing I've ever slept on.

Cons: Our room (213) was atrocious. There was a broken window. We could not put down the window blinds because they would have blocked the air conditioner which was needed to make the stuffy room tolerable. Our room was not clean - we found an empty soda bottle on the floor near the window and a bag of trash under the sink. The instructional decal was missing from our shower so we had no idea how to operate the shower. All in all a very poor experience and a bad introduction to our "trip of a lifetime" to Alaska.

Cons: I booked the room early for $136.90 including taxes. My credit card was charged $151.90. I called Inlet Tower Hotel and Suites. I was told they charged $15.00 for incidental charges and it would come off my card in 35 business days. That was not mentioned any where in my booking ☹️

Cons: It was further from downtown than I had thought. But that was not bad. It was only a few blocks further. It was very noisy because you could hear the plumbing running from other units and in general there was not much buffering for noise from other rooms.

Cons: Mold on the ceiling in bathroom, no fan in bathroom, room smelled funny, didn't feel clean overall.

Cons: Definitely an older place that could use a little renovation, slow elevator, old (small) TV, had some issues with the front desk staff where they messed up my reservation information and then blamed me for the mess up - this was very frustrating and pretty much ruined the whole stay there.

Cons: This place was definitely out dated. Also, when we checked in, we were given a room that was already occupied! In talking with another guest in the lobby, this had happened to him too! Totally unacceptable...

Cons: Very old. My room needed a good deep cleaning. The lamp shade, window shade, bed skirt, arm chair and phone were filthy and stained. There were very limited outlets for my electronics. Caulking on tub was black and falling off.

Cons: The wifi was terrible. I could not get connected despite numerous attempts. I did not have this trouble at the airport at all. There I was connected immediately. Shower not working correctly.

Cons: not the place to bring your mom or grandma. you'll meet some Alaska residents, thats for sure. Building is not super new and there are not many amenities, but it'll do

Cons: However, there was suspicious activity going on in the parking lot. Lots of cars running, with and without people in them, people walking back and forth between them, and this was well after midnight. The room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that it was making me nauseous. After emptying most of my febreeze on the room, it was better. Laid down, and five minutes in start itching, thinking it might just be my paranoia, I tried to ignore it. But after ten minutes I get up to check myself and sure enough I find a bed bug in my shirt and I have 10 bites on my arm and leg. I used packing tape to pat the bed and found another one. I left that hotel at 2:45 in the morning to stay else where and spent the next day doing laundry at the hottest temps I could. I sent them an account of my night, and haven't heard back from them yet.

Cons: Sharing a bathroom for the price.

Cons: The place was disgusting! And didn't have own bathroom in rooms had to share with everyone and of you didn't wear shower shoes u probably would have brought something home. Didn't even sleep under covers.

Cons: it was great for what we needed which was just to crash for the night, shower, and leave early the next day to see more of alaska.

Cons: The stairs to the upper level rooms were outdoors, which didn't really bother me, but may not appeal to some. In my opinion it's a small issue for some, that will be easily forgotten with the Inn's world class customer service.

Cons: My girlfriend and i knew we would be arriving around 2am from the airport (flight arrival, 1:21am). We called ahead a couple times that night to see if this would be a problem. at around 9pm we were told sometime around 2am would be fine. upon flight arrival we called, before 2am, and were told the door would be open and/or the key would be left out- it was unclear, a red flag. we arrived just after 2am. Doors locked, no one in sight. we got into an open door in the hallway that accessed our room but couldn't find any key to the locked room. we knocked "politely" on the trailer door as a note said to do if one was locked out after hours. No one answered. we knocked louder. returning a couple times to do so. We called the same number that no longer picked up. We left around 3am to walk to find another hotel. Although many reviews warned "save your money" we figured we'd be fine with Qupqugiaq because we'd stayed at dirt cheap places in India, Belize, Nicaragua, Mexico, etc. We figured our standards were low enough. Now i'd say the same, "save your money" to anyone arriving anytime near 2am. We'd have preferred they told us our late arrival would have been a problem.

Cons: Sleeping pods were stuffy - no ventilation. Cot was pretty hard and uncomfortable, could use a thin mattress.

Cons: The hotel associates lacked customer service! The breakfast lines were horrible, and also bad hostess service. *also they need conditioner(shampoo). I would never stay there again.

Cons: The staff is super rude and they should be fired. The price is not a good deal for just one night if you pay over $60/night your getting ripped off. The internet is super slow I got a fast internet speeds from a 3g connection on my cell phone. The breakfast is cold and nothing is cooked. Pretty lame hotel that doesn't offer good amenities. Would suggest getting a room at a different hotel that has a better staff,good breakfast, and fast internet.

Cons: Too much partying throughout the hotel, all night and morning, and the sound of doors closing, floors creaking, and talking prevented me from getting much sleep. Room was hot and stuffy. Fortunately my son is a heavy sleeper. We booked two nights but left after one. Good on them, they did refund my second night.
