How they work with me. Good rooms. Reliable place to stay.
I liked everything. They are good people. They always work with me.
The person who checked me in was nice
There was garbage, used tissues and rat feces under the headboard under the bed. Bad WiFi I was told that I had to go to dining room to FaceTime a sick family member even though I wanted privacy. Call disconnected every minute. Also no breakfast advertised so I spent 12 for overpriced food.
I could see the Iditarod race out the window which is why I booked this hotel. Seeing that was fantastic and the room was perfectly located. We went outside for the start of the race but watched the last few from our room where we could get nice photos and video.
The staff wrote down our need for a wake up call on a board that hangs on the wall for the morning staff. The morning staff person actually told us that he didn't call us because "his guys hadn't also put a note into the computer" for him to look at the wake up call list! The morning of the Iditarod Ceremonial run! We barely woke up in time because we had 3 hours jet lag and a grueling trip to get to Anchorage from Dallas. I showed the gentleman my $11:00 receipt for breakfast because we were unable to take advantage of the breakfast included and I took a screenshot of the list hanging on the wall with our names and room number on it. We requested a refund for breakfast and he said he would take care of this on Monday but as far as I can tell, nothing has been done. The night before, when we were exhausted, the evening staff had great difficulty giving us the street address of a local restaurant that serves late dinner. Luckily we were able to get that information finally and it was a good restaurant. The first fellow I spoke with was very nice and tried to help us but we didn't see him again. Not checking the wake up call list on a day that important is pretty bad.
No ice machines worked, often no staff at reception so ANYONE could walk in,no breakfast one morning because someone had the day off, some lovely staff some not so much ,well past its heyday.
Nice location, in the heart of city center. Very nice staff.
The room was dark, a few lights. The wifi was terrible, kept dropping and some devices could not connect some times.
