Pros: We were located in the “Loft” which is actually a small apartment with all needed for a comfortable stay . We felt at home, didn’t want to leave. Mary, the owner is super friendly and a very warm person. She had a concern that we will not find an available restaurant for dinner, so she offered to have dinner at her house (for a fee). We gladly accepted her offer and had a wonderful dinner with her & her friends. We also received good recommendations on where and what to do in Stowe area .
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary is a fantastic host! The house is warm and very welcoming, the breakfast and the conversation were a great added bonus. The value for money is great, pricing is extremely reasonable compared to others in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary is super cool! Fun to talk to and she really makes you feel at home. The house is beautiful and you can't beat the location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the owner, Mary. She visited with the other guests and myself quite late and then got up very early to cook us up an amazing hot breakfast, cooked to order! The house has a lot of history, but is furnished with lovely artwork and antiques. The house is walking distance to the lovely little downtown Stowe. I could not have had a better B&B experience! Thank you, Mary!
Cons: Absolutely nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome space, great location!
Cons: Nothing—loved it all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality was wonderful and very warm and the feeling was of a home. Mary is lovely and a great host. The homely breakfast is excellent and the atmosphere is good. We also had a great dinner for an extra charge. Thank you Mary for the great hospitality
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such an enjoyable stay. All the comforts of home, plus some fantastic extras (where else can you have French toast waffles). Getting in/out to the village by foot is simple and the drive up the mountain road takes no time. Fantastic recommendations for food establishments also. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed in some lovely b&b's over the years but Mary and her Hobble Inn will take some topping. We were off the back of a long drive from Maine; as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a smile and a much needed glass of wine. Mary offered to do our laundry. The breakfast is great. Lots of tips for things to do in Stowe and where we were finishing our trip in Burlington and Boston. 10/10

Pros: Cute inn, Friendly staff, great food, and an awesome bar.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Amaizing place to stay. The room are beutifull and the view is stuning!! Breakfast was very high standard Loved it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful, with snow everywhere and wonderful trails and full trees. It’s very quaint and romantic. The living area is decorated so rustic and warm. The free breakfast area is beyond beautiful. And taste amazing. And the staff is 5 star, always warm, kind, smiling, and care so much about your stay. And almost forgot about the heated floors! Something you didn’t know you Needed until you have it! Amazong
Cons: It’s a little off the beaten path. But I’m fishing to find something wrong with it lol.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Edson Hill is still a sweet country inn, but the massive dinner crowds are certainly detracting from the guest's overall experience.
Cons: Edson Hill's switch from boutique country inn to restaurant feeding grounds attracts people of all types to our formerly secluded, private inn. As a result, the dining room is usually hot, noisy & crowded, and the overall quality of the dining experience has declined. Weekends are unbearably loud & attract more partygoers, who might be better served at the big resort up the hill.

Pros: It was just what I was looking for, and the location was perfect. There was a nice bar and restaurant on site. The rooms had charm but up to date.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: In town Stowe location is wonderful. I really enjoyed the pool area. The pool was a perfect temperature as well as the hot tub. Room was spacious
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked the Green Mountain Hotel for a recent ski trip for my fiancé. We went with another couple and shared a room. I'm not a skier so I stayed behind while everyone else went to the mountain. This hotel was AWESOME! The room was quiet and so so comfy. The outdoor hot tub was so cool especially since it was about 20 degrees while we were there. The gym/sauna is so clean and so nice. We had brunch on Sunday and drinks at the restaurant. The whole place is sparkling clean and everyone is so so nice!! Location is perfect close to downtown restaurants and shopping.
Cons: A little far from the mountain. Was no big deal for us and they have an awesome free shuttle that will take you straight to the mountain but if you don't feel like dealing with the shuttle or if you don't have a car that's good in the snow to get you the 15-20 drive to the mountain you might want to stay at one of the resorts at the mountain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's feel and style were great, the fire pit, the outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, and the in hotel dining and bar were all wonderful.
Cons: The hotel is in a beautiful old building and the rooms are very nice, but the bathrooms are not as well appointed as one might find in a newer building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great restaurant, fun being in town. Large rooms, friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Inn is in the heart of Stowe Village and looks like a Norman Rockwell painting! The Inn itself, and the village is enchanting, especially at Christmas! Exceptional hospitality and a complimentary cheese/wine reception upon check in! I could go and on, this was the perfect romantic get-away for 2 busy working parents! We will definitely find a way to get back!
Cons: The bathroom is a bit small, but the inn is nearly 200 years old! Not really a complaint, but this understood in a old building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything; location, decor, and friendly staff.
Cons: Gym is too small. The free weights are very limited. And imposs8ble to get a serious workout.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent front desk staff and staff overall , great outdoor and indoor pool /hot tub areas, good breakfast & afternoon tea & cookies .
Cons: Room needed updating . Newer carpet needed at least. Bathroom was done over but again flooring was dated. Smaller than expected and next to construction work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The colonial decor, pool/spa, location right in the heart of the village, the outstanding breakfast, the outstanding bar/restaurant, and the incredibly friendly and helpful front desk—all combined to make this a week-end we’ll never forget. This place is special.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel, built in 1833, had a warm and cosy atmosphere the minute we set foot in it. Over the years the site has expanded to include chalets and it’s now quite big. We stayed in the main hotel in a good sized room with a four poster bed (!!), plenty of drawer and wardrobe space, coffee machine, tv and an en suite bathroom with good facilities. The bed was comfy and the room kept spotlessly clean. We didn’t use the heated pool outside, sauna or jacuzzi but they were there if we wanted them. WiFi was free and the breakfast, bar and restaurant facilities were excellent. The hotel is set in the heart of Stowe so shops were just a step away. Very helpful and friendly staff made this a perfect visit. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing!
4.0 Okay
Cons: The staff was not customer focused. The room was way overpriced,

6.3 Good
Pros: The mountains
Cons: The restaurant too expensive and I didn’t know about a resort tax that was $108 and 2 nights cost $390 I think that’s excessive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and comfortable. There was lots of activities on site.
Cons: It was not close to town and difficult to take taxis anywhere, but they did offer a shuttle around their site.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the chalet style of the building were lovely. The spa area was excellent as were the outdoor facilities. The history talks about the family were also excellent. The Kaffehaus and the brewery separate to the main lodge were excellent
Cons: This is a very expensive resort to stay in and the quality of the restaurants and bar areas are not up to the price. All restaurants and bars closed at 21.00. Resort I feel caters more for tour groups than discerning independent travellers
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The site has tons of potential.
Cons: I don't like to be critical but the hotel is dated. The traditional Austrian staff uniforms are way too old fashioned. This is a ski resort not a museum. Look at what's happening in Austria today for inspiration
7.0 Good
Pros: The tv didn’t work our first night but it was fixed, thank you There was a mini fridge in our room that made a lot of noise - we understand lugged it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a beautiful location with amazing views. It is a charming place with a very friendly staff. The beds were extremely comfortable!!!
Cons: Most of the rooms are a bit outdated and could use a refresh, but still maintain the charm of the "lodge" theme.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel fantastic location welcoming staff. The hills are alive!!
Cons: Would have liked a refrigerator in the room other than that no complaints whatsoever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All if the hikkmg tour opportunities. Hotel employee is an excellent hiking guide. Brewery was also wonderful.
7.9 Good
Pros: Plenty of activities on offer if you want to be busy or you can just sit and watch the scenery

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable, and every member of staff we spoke to or even saw in the halls was incredibly friendly.
Cons: I thought we would have a queen bed, but it was a double.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff and customer service are second to none. We've stayed in many nice hotels and we've never seen such friendly staff anywhere else. The hotel was wonderful and we'll never stay anywhere else in Stowe!

Pros: Impressive facilty
Cons: no
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here have always stood out in all aspects compared to all my amazing travel experiences
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, exceptionally clean and wonderful amenities
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms need renovations. Furniture wear and tear.
Cons: Furniture and areas need attention.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the location with the beautiful view. From our room we could look out the window and see the view of the mountains with the trees in all their beautiful autumn splendor, it was absolutely amazing.
Cons: There are only a few things I didn't like about the hotel. I did not like the height of the bed.... I'm short so I found it very difficult to get in bed, and the blanket was too thick and loud, I don't like bedding that makes a rustling noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort in a great location! Our studio was well appointed, especially with the heated tile floors. Nice touch!
Cons: Resort fee was definitely too high, in my opinion. Especially for a stay the first of May, when there wasnt much going. It was obviously a slow time!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The beds are amazing. I don't know what linens they use but they were the most beautiful sheets I've ever slept in. Bathrooms are gorgeous. The pool and resort are quite beautiful and I can't wait to come back in the winter, when I think it will be even more fun.
Cons: Our stay felt slightly like an off-season experience. It was a little quiet but more than that, there was only one bath towel in the bathroom, and lots of empty trays were maybe soaps and things should have been. Also, I placed a room service order and received something completely different when the food arrived, turns out we had an old menu from last year. Finally, I opened the fridge to put things into, and there were 2 containers of takeout left in it. It just seemed like they were short staffed or something. I definitely expected Stowe Mountain Lodge to be on point with details like this and they weren't. Finally, upon check in we didn't receive any information regarding amenities, restaurants, etc. not very welcoming at the front desk, which they need to work on otherwise you get the sense they just want to run your credit card and that's about it. Valet and bell service is outstanding however.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: The front desk man was awesome! And the location was perfect.
Cons: The bowling alley attached was TERRIBLE, the staff acted like we were putting them out by being there even though we’d go in two or three hours before they closed. After the second time we went we gave up, everyone there was super rude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great attentive staff, lot to do on property, which was good because we got snowed in. But great area as well.
Cons: no
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brand new and always kept clean. We asked to be moved into a bigger room and they were more than happy to accommodate us. The pool and hot tub is clean and nice. Our room was brand new and clean. Breakfast was included and very good. All staff were great. We will be staying here again next year.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bowling alley, and the stream that runs behind it, with the mountain view. The room was clean and easy to get too.
Cons: N/A
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Loved the bowling alley and the pool. Breakfast was good and convenient.
Cons: The bed was a little stiff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, right down the road from Stowe Ski Resort. Bar located in the bowling alley and the jacuzzi was a perfect end to a ski day. The hot breakfast in the morning was very good!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great place for family and kids.
Cons: The breakfast service could be improved. That being said it is included, but they run out of things and don’t get replaced nearly quick enough and the coffee could be better. Outside of the breakfast - no complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and the staff was so friendly and helpful! They also have great property for the pups to run around on.
Cons: You could hear the bowling alley from our room because we were right above the pins...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Stowe Bowl, pool, allow dogs, high ceilings, large bathroom :)
Cons: Hot tub was closed
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room has a nice layout, there was plenty of room for all of our gear. It is useful to have the sink outside the toilet/shower. It was by no means fancy, but everything was clean. The breakfast was better than we expected - they said continental but there was hot food too (potatoes, eggs and rotating sausage, bacon, french toast, biscuits). Kids enjoyed the bowling, and it was nice to have a restaurant/bar right in the hotel.
Cons: Lots of noise from snowplowing/snow shoveling but they can't control the weather!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place so much! Very trendy, very cute, and right in the heart of the most adorable town.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location. Price.
Cons: Room was very stuffy at arrival. Took one day to air out

Pros: Probably the best bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed in ! Valerie and Mike are great inn keepers! The breakfasts are incredible. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Convenient to town and skiing, but far enough away for peace and quiet. And bonus ..... Lewis the Goldendoodle !! Did we like it ???? ..... we already booked next Christmas !!!!!

Pros: Great stay, great breakfast, and two very kind, helpful hosts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome Pancake breakfast among others! All breakfasts were great. Room was quite and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Needed a refund due to a situation totally out of my control (couldn't cross the US boarder because my Spanish boyfriend's status un Canada is visitor. They didn't want to help us and refund (just part refund would have sufficed, but they didn't care).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was wonderful, helpful with all your needs. Great rustic inn, you know your in Vermont, with lots of local color all around. Whether your there for the skiing, the hiking or the many craft breweries around, this is perfectly located for any activities. The famous Alchemist Brewery is a walk away, enjoy the Heady Topper!!!
5.0 Okay
Pros: 1. I liked the way the innkeeper Valerie took care of the guests, she gave us a lot of information about the area and told us about nice places to visit. 2. The breakfast was good and it wasn't the buffet style, Valerie took our orders and served us within 5-10 minutes. Coffee was good. 3. In the evening we were sitting in front of the fireplace in the living room, it was warm and cozy. We brought our booze and were drinking and enjoying the company of other guests.
Cons: It strictly personal, maybe for others it's not a big deal at all, so it's my personal opinion: 1. The location is in no walking distance to anything, it's in the woods and you have to drive to the bars, restaurants, stores, etc. I prefer to have a drink or two or three during the dinner and then walk back to the hotel instead of driving. 2. I booked this place because it stated that the pets were not allowed and I am allergic to cats and dogs. To my surprise I found a big black labradoodle or something running around the living room and the kitchen and breakfast areas. He was playing around the breakfast table while we ate and even though it was only about 30-40 minutes that I was around the dog every morning it was enough for me to sneeze the whole rest of the day. He was not in the living room in the evening, though, so I could comfortably spend the evening by the fireplace. If you are allergic to dogs - keep this in mind. 3. All rooms are different in size. We got room number 1 on the first floor and I think it was the smallest room in the building. It would be OK for one person but for two it was extremely small. The door to the bathroom did not close completely, which made staying in the room a bit inconvenient. So, if you are not alone, avoid room 1 on the first floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Valerie was absolutely amazing. We had such a great time and we will definitely come back. The living area was spacious and cozy, the breakfast was homemade every day and so tasty and the room was cute and comfortable.
Cons: We liked everything about our stay.

Cons: Not a thing!

Cons: Heater noisy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location for skiing/ snowboarding and XC skiing. Really good breakfast, nice selection fresh and tasty. Stuff is friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Rooms/ beds are quite basic for the price, although well kept and clean. You should wear ear plugs if you want a deep sleep, because walls are thin and neighbors can be loud, and room heater was super loud too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent full breakfast. Great location for skiers
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good for those who have no food allergies. The apple cider in the evenings was delicious. The room was big and comfortable. The room was clean and well decorated. The owner was very helpful giving a lot of advice and tips about the city, what to do and where to eat.
Cons: There were no many gluten-free options for breakfast, only cereal, eggs, and potatoes. In the afternoon there were available some complimentary cookies and apple cider, however, no GF cookies... :( The heater was super noisy, was quite difficult to fall asleep.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: I liked where it was located relative to mountain and main part of town.
Cons: First, could not regulate room temp (76 degrees +) . Resulted in 2 sleepless nights. Room was not cleaned well in addition to a mildew ridden shower. Unable to ski Sunday due to lack of sleep. Staff was rude, cold and generally unavailable. Lobby usually unmanned.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely nice and amenable. The hotel was updated and chic. Location was phenomenal. Well designed and very clean.
Cons: The rooms are a tad small, hallways narrow and no heat in the bathroom. Breakfast could start at 6:30 am since lifts spin at 7:30am.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern, lovely decor. Suite a good size. Breakfast was basic choice but very good quality.
Cons: We were on floor one and had to enter on floor 3 and carry suitcases and ski gear up an down. Carpet on the stairs was very dirty because of this. There was no atmosphere in the lounge / lobby area which is such a shame as the area is so lovely decorated with a couple of fabulous log burners. It is nice but could be so much better. Often no staff around felt very vacant. First morning I went down to get coffee at 6:30 and it was stone cold from the night before.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was located right in the middle of town. It was super easy to get around. Food and drinks were right across the street or just a few minutes away.
Cons: There was not much to complain about. The only thing I would say is that I’m a huge breakfast person. The breakfast was ok. The could use some warm eggs though.

Pros: We were very happy with our stay in early October. The location of the hotel is great, just a quick drive to Stowe village. It's also right across the street from the Alchemist brewery and a few restaurants. We were very happy with the room, it was a little older - but everything was very clean and well taken care of. Each room has a DVD player and you can check out DVDs from their office! They even had new releases :) We'd definitely recommend anyone staying here if you want to stay at a relaxed, family owned hotel!

Pros: Awesome space, great location!
Cons: Nothing—loved it all!

Pros: This Inn is so pretty & best location in Stowe. Can walk to so much. Rooms are beautiful & quiet. Fun bar to meet people and enjoy a drink a & delicious cozy restaurant, The Whip.

Pros: It was so cute. The decor was so cool and country rustic right down to the salt shakers. It was so warm and cozy. The people owners were great. I have older kids 19, and 21 and it was cool for them and it also is great for younger kids. Loved this place in every way!

6.3 Good
Pros: The mountains
7.0 Good
