Pros: We stayed in this lovely self catering apartment in Selfoss for 5 days, its about 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik. and is pretty central to all attractions, It is Spotlessly clean and well equipped ( no oven just a hob) . All the beds were nice and comfortable giving a great night's sleep. There is also a lovely bathroom with a great shower, which we were grateful for after walking and visiting all the sites in and around Selfoss. The surrounding area is so beautiful, we were about an hour’s drive away from the national park, 30 minutes from the secret lagoon and about an hour from the geysers and the golden waterfall, we had hired a small 4x4 Suzuki jimmy great for driving in the snow, but a bit slow, We were surrounded by snow covered mountains. It was superb location and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Bjarni was so helpful and friendly and supplied us tips on where to go and what to see, made visiting certain places so much easier. To cap it all we had lots of snow and great scenery, if you get a chance you really must visit Iceland.

Pros: Very quiet and peaceful location in the middle of nowhere. The kitchen and the breakfast room can be used which is very convenient. Clean room and spacious enough bathroom.
Cons: It is a bit difficult to find and one cannot drive to the house because there is a barrier and one has to make a phone call or leave the car and walk there to contact the owners.

Cons: Nothing that I didn't like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is Sven and Anna's summer home. They are both architects & designers and so the place is well designed. We received a huge and beautiful room. There was a kitchen with everything we needed for cooking, and Anna stocked the fridge with breakfast products for us. Sven sat with us every morning to review our plans for today, and his tips and suggestions are what added the extra spark to all of our day tours. The hot tub in the garden is great for relaxing after a day out. There are 2 living rooms for guests use. One is like a pagoda in the garden, and has DVDs about Iceland, could be used for rainy days (fortunately we didn't have any). Location is excellent for the golden circle area. We stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed longer, there was just so much to see and do. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Iceland!!
