Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, helpful and friendly service, and unique, charming atmosphere with Victorian decor. Many enjoyed the afternoon cookies and sherry, as well as the comfortable beds and spacious rooms. However, several reviews noted issues with cleanliness, such as dirty carpets and bathrooms, and some felt the breakfast could be improved. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was positive, with many guests appreciating the historic feel and convenient access to local attractions.AI-generated from customer reviews

Pros (+) Excellent, central location nearby many points of interest, very accessible to bus system, airport shuttle service available, helpful and attentive staff, great complimentary breakfast and then sherry time in the afternoon (cute!), stunning common areas and cute, comfortable rooms. Made for a very pleasant home-base in San Francisco, would recommend and stay again.
