I liked everything about the hotel itself! The location was pretty convenient and accessible to public transportation.
I did not like the fact that there was no hotel parking. We had to pay for overnight parking and the total came out to $95 for 2 nights.
Quaint and charming architecture and modern decor throughout. Front desk staff was very nice, the girls gave me tips on using Uber and a coupon code for my first ride. They also alerted me to the fact that the church down the street double parks on the street and blocks you in. Comfortable bed Good neighborhood for walking if you like to shop as it is very close to Union Square. I was lucky and scored a parking space right outside the front door and only had to pay one hour at the meter on Saturday (Sunday was free)
Street noise was substantial, but this is downtown SF after all so it wasn't unexpected. Just bring earplugs. Bathroom was very tiny and a little cramped, but made up for it in charm. Nice big and deep bathtub helped.
I liked the location was close to many top tourist attractions. Staff was exceptional.
Did not like the neighborhood and noise from the streets.
Location & front desk personnel were friendly & helpful.
8th floor had a bad order. It was very loud. Thought room should have had fridge & a complimentary breakfast with stay!
Nothing special, but nothing wrong with the place. Clean room, nice beds, and friendly staff.
Thin walls and floors allow you to hear your neighbors conversations and bowel movements.
The rooms were small but nice. It suited our needs and there were recent renovations.
The staff was very rude when checking out. There was miscommunication when talking about parking fees. The signs they have are misleading and she was being a "b" when talking to us. I would not go back just because of her.
convenient location; friendly staff
weak wireless signal
The room was comfortable and the bar was friendly.
The central heating is very noisy and kept us awake.
very close to city center
they block the entire amount on your credit card since the first bight, even when you show up in time and you said you'll pay by cash
*close to everything *nice comfortable beds & linens *very inexpensive
*staff had limited knowledge of hotel amenities. For example, when I called ahead, I was told there was no iron available (there was one in the room). There were many others. *If I had known that the hotel heating was centrally controlled and that it was turned off during the day, I would not have stayed at this hotel. It was cold, windy and rainy, and I could not get warm. As a result, I came down with a cold upon my return home. *The water pressure in the bathroom shower was a trickle *The walls were paper thin
Excellent, excellent hotel staff, could not be faulted. Hotel - good location and access to shops, theatres & restaurants.
Although clean, bed linen - very worn and thin - in budget accom. Bed blanket - not appealing. towels etc; good quality.
