Cons: The ice machine was down on my floor. That was the only inconvenience. Not a horrible one

Cons: Pool was closed for maintenance (it had a gaping hole). Kids were bummed wish their page would have had a notice as that was a huge let down for them.

Cons: The pillow is so thick that my night sleep wasn't very comfortable. In the morning my neck hurts. I wish you have some thinner pillows. I'm sure there are quite a few people like me who prefer thinner pillows.

Cons: They posted rules about no kids under 5 in the hot tub..yet there were toddlers in diapers in the tub..should've had someone checking...dangerous

Cons: The bathroom door was a sliding door that didn't lock, and didn't keep the steam out of the main room area. The pool area opened up outside, which led to quite a few dead bees and flies in the pool.

Cons: Everything was great

Cons: Available parking was limited in the paid lot behind the hotel.

Cons: The parking situation was confusing since I've never been in the area and arrived in the dead of the night. There weren't clear instructions pasted anywhere explaining what to do.

Cons: Wallpaper in room was coming off wall, grout in tub was coming out, outlets near bed were covered by wood decorative panel, bathroom was freezing while room was warm, no circulation

Cons: Gym lacking a general weight station, Pool should be inside building, a female Staff member was rude and with an actitude.

Cons: Head desk lady seemed annoyed with any family at the hotel she didn't hide it well she didn't like families there. The pool only stays open until 10:00. The rooms lighting is annoying the bathroom lights wouldn't work for some reason, the glass sliding door into the bathroom was horrible once it was shut it would take me a grown man to open it for the kids and my wife. Breakfast was so so, there is much better breakfasts out there I have stayed at the Hyatt House just 20 minutes away from the hotel and it has better amenities and breakfast. Also two of my children forgot toothbrushes so they went down to get one and they charged them for a toothbrush I mean for $160 a night that is ridiculous. Also we pulled out the hide a bed and there was a huge hairball from the wash or something it was pretty gross.

Cons: Tile in the shower was dated.

Cons: There isn't a lot to not like. The complimentary newspapers are good, but would appreciate a local paper in place of perhaps the Wall Street Journal.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was you couldn't get beer or drinks after 11 P.M.

Cons: The fitness room has old equipment that does not work well. These are heavily used, so it would be a good idea to replace them.

Cons: Pay to park, I am already paying for a room and taxes and then you charge me to park at your hotel.

Cons: They charged $75.00 non refundable deposit for a 5lbs dog. Ridiculous amount. Was not worth the cost with that included.

Cons: The breakfast food was not good. Most of it tasted and looked like it sat around for a long time. The table area is tight, especially with many families with small kids. Fortunately there are restaurants close by!

Cons: While Wi-fi was free and available in rooms (and lobby), it didn't work very well. Pool/gym area is rather small, however I wasn't expecting one at all so I wasn't disappointed.

Cons: No skin/hand cream available among toiletry.

Cons: Room smelled like a smoker. Bed could have used some padding. No couch for kid to sleep on.

Cons: Wireless internet was poor at best. Contacted their tech support whose solution was to log in to the router and kick other people off the network, which did not help. Both upon my arrival and upon my departure a police officer was stationed in the lobby with his squad car in plain sight just in front of the entrance. Any hotel that feels the need to have a uniformed police officer (not a security guard) at their property with that kind of regularity, causes me concern that the hotel is unsafe. For this reason alone I will not stay at this hotel again.

Cons: Upon registration, the hotel didn't have my booking info from getaroom.com, and it took them quite a while to fetch it. I've heard it's not uncommon with this website, so I suggest to book with other ones.

Cons: Nothing about the place made me unhappy.

Cons: Overpriced in the summer. Staff lied to me about room availability. Had booked the rooms for a week and then received an invoice the second morning. Was told nothing was available and they were sorry. Then I booked a room online and the staff proceeded to give me attitude. Breakfast setup in a way that it can't accommodate the number of guests. Parking lot is a hangout for homeless folks. Stayed there many times in the last few months but will never go back.

Cons: My husband was concerned about a homeless shelter a block away but we never had any trouble.

Cons: The continental breakfast was subpar, despite being hyped upon check-in as one of the hotel's best features. I also had issues connecting to the internet, and had to cycle through several different networks before finally staying connected.

Cons: I was unable to go.......but my friend and her "special needs" son went......original 3 I had booked the room for. When arriving, Jarred had to use the restroom and the "clerk" was VERY rude and unfriendly. Sheryl asked if there was a public restroom and the clerk asked "Are you a guest?".........well she had a suitcase........rude, rude, rude.........they were never greeted or acknowledged the rest of the weekend.............so NO, I won't be staying there

Cons: I booked a year in advance with Elite Status Priority Club status and was told when i checked in at 3:30 in the afternoon "all we have left is the second floor". The room was by the laundry room. We could hear the spin cycles all night long. It was also near some kind of outside air vent that sounded like a jet engine every time it turned off and on. It's one thing to get "the loud room" for a last minute booking, but disappointing when I booked a year in advance.

Cons: Parking was horrible. If you didn't get there in enough time, you were out of luck.

Cons: There was no housekeeping during our 3 night stay which we were only told about at check in. I wouldn't have a problem with this as long as it was posted on the hotel website, but it's definitely not. Was told they would pick up trash placed outside the room by noon everyday, but there were no extra trash bags in the rooms. Sliding pocket door between toilet shower and sink kitchen area does not latch or properly close and toilet is right in front of the opening. And even though I checked in early (day before on the app) with notification of early check in, my room (and most others) were not ready until 3PM or later. Also, no late checkout for IHG members. Contract says if you don't want delivery of paper to your room, you would receive a credit to your bill every day. There was no paper delivery, and also no credit. Coffee in the breakfast area was awful during breakfast, and also awful plus cold when I tried to get a cup at 7pm. Apparently the coffee is not brewed into the carafes and instead brought out in a pitcher from the back and then poured into the carafe in the breakfast area. I used to work in a coffee shop, and many degrees of heat are lost in this process.

Cons: Elevators were constantly broken and the stairs were off limits so sometimes the weight for an elevator for 20-30 min

Cons: Front desk worker who checked me out rushed me and said he didn’t need to give me a receipt for my stay. There were only two towels in the room when we arrived. It was clearly cleaned I a hurry, as there were sticky spots on several surfaces and the carpets still had crumbs in them. There were no towels whatsoever at the pool when we went.

Cons: The hotel is under construction. It's getting a much needed update, but that meant construction noise and scaffolding outside my window. Wasn't a big deal.

Cons: My friend ended up getting food poisoning after eating the breakfast. Please make sure that your food is fresh. He got very little rest that night and ended up vomiting for most of the trip.

Cons: Breakfast not as good as I remember. Parking was limited. Loading/unloading lane was packed with overnight parking. The regular parking was all taken. We were sent across the street with a parking pass. When we went leave the attendant didn't recognize or no what to do with the pass. Luckily he let us through.

Cons: Breakfast was mediocre but it was free so you can't complain too much there. Decor was a little dated.

Cons: The hotel was very run down. Had broken table, ancient tv, and microwave. Free breakfast was a joke. Don't recommend staying there.

Cons: Shilo In is under construction. Do not stay here unless you absolutely have to. The front lobby is cold, the parking is behind the Shilo Inn (you have to walk around the block to access the parking). Construction in the building is from 7am - 7pm (noisy and don't even try to sleep in). After I got to the Shilo Inn, is when I realized how much work is being done, and I still paid full price.

Cons: all else was bad. it smelled, our room had a whole in the ceiling and our bed had hair in it. The breakfast was bad and weird.

Cons: The room had cool art but, the heater was very loud. Something wrong with the fan. Also no bathroom fan oddly enough.

Cons: You will never stop finding annoyances at this place. Everything seems to be held together with duct tape and bubble gum.

Cons: Service at restaurant was slow and sometimes absent. Disappointing, because the food was excellent.

Cons: Not worth the price for anything other than location. Bathroom was pretty dirty, the room was nothing special. Our mini fridge was leaking when we checked in and the floor was wet. They sent a new one right up which was great. I wish the floor elevators went straight to the parking garage. It was mediocre for my expectation of a 4 star hotel.

Had to put luggage into closet by front desk while we walked around downtown, waiting for a phone call from them stating that our room was ready. We were not the only ones either. Was told that our stay included the breakfast, found out after we had already had eaten....
