Pros: Wonderful host, excellent breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: excellent breakfast and friendly owner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful property with an incredible, generous host (thank you Rita), this villa is a great place to stay for a visit in Piazza Armerino. Only a short distance from Casa de Villa Romano. I little tricky to drive into the first time, but Rita offered to drive us to, and pick us up from, our restaurant each night which was greatly appreciated. We were spoilt as guests and had a terrific stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room in lovely setting about 10 minutes drive from centre of town. Fabulous home made breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to visit the Roman Villa nearby which is an absolute must in a trip to Sicily, a unique masterpiece. Rooms after rooms of splendid mosaics. Villa Clementine is full of charm, our room facing the pool was very quiet, warm decor, spacious and comfortable with a small terrace. Good wifi and much appreciated international news channel on the TV. The host, Clementine, is charming and witty, she speaks very good English and French. The breakfast in the cosy house is plentiful and splendid. The place to say in Piazza Armerina. Do visit that authentic and charming town not swarming with tourists. A walk up to the cathedral is very pleasant. Avoid the hotel/restaurant Mosaïco on the way to the Villa, there are two better restaurants further up or you can eat on the site.
Cons: It is a bit tricky to get there, you need a GPS or the use of Google Map.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our hostess was generous and very accommodating. Offered to take us into town & pick us up! Free range eggs and homemade preserves. Her English was good. Beautiful setting. Quiet, despite nearby flyover road...triple glazing? Pool area beautiful. Remember to visit the fantastic Villa Romana do Casale for the multide of mosaics.
Cons: 2 Queen sized beds would have been better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hospitality, perfect room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rita, the host was fabulous
Cons: Nothing It was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was far better than average.
Cons: Finding the place was very difficult. This was the only negative in the whole experience. I spent almost two hours to find the place after I got in town, and I felt some explicit directions would have helped greatly, rather than just having a street address. Even the police did not know where the street address was! They led me to the place, but when we were about 200 m away, they simply told me I was own my own, and then I needed almost another 45 minutes.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, round the corner is the cathedral and lots of nice restaurants nearby. Kimera is full of arts , love the decorations. The room is so spacious and bed is comfy. Wifi is good. Breakfast is good enough with Sicilian cakes. Park the car right outside the B&B. Lots of parking space. The host Rita is very kind and treat the guests very well. If I come back Piazza Armerina, must stay in this B&B again. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rita is a wonderful host! The room was big, clean and beautiful! And breakfast was outstanding!
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, room size, convenient free public parking outside
Cons: The interior generally feels a little tired - the shower door needed a bit of patience to work properly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is in the historic centre, a 2 minute walk from the cathedral, and a 4 minute walk to Palazzo Trigona which houses the museum of the Piazza Armerina area.
Cons: The 2 rooms we rented were very clean, spacious and quiet.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great, with delicious crunchy bread, a selection of ham and salami, boiled eggs, yogurts, fruit, a variety of pastries, tea selection and fresh orange juice. The location is very central, just behind the cathedral and within walking distance of most major buildings. The furnishings and decor are very baroque and opulent, one of the main reasons I wanted to stay there. A very genial lady of the house, la signora Rita, who made sure that we were comfortable, warm and well-provided with towels. She even suggested where we should eat in the evening and offered to call the owner.
Cons: Unfortunately, there was a strange unpleasant smell in our room, the source of which we could not identify. We tried to mask it with deodorant and eventually did not notice it, until we returned after dinner.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rita so welcoming and warm and we are very late in replying . Breakfast delicious

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great Location with breathtaking view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was the best in our stay in Sicily and the location was fantastic with a great view of the town
Cons: It was a bit difficult to find
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely at a large table in a comfortable room with a beautiful view of the city. Our hostess was lovely - so kind and welcoming. She let us leave our luggage after check out and return to pick it up which gave us piece of mind when visiting the sights nearby.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our host Luciano welcomed us enthusiastically on arrival and helped us carry our cases to a large airy room with spacious ensuite bathroom (shower only: modern and good, but small). Breakfast takes place at a large table shared with other guests in the dining room with superb views overlooking the valley to the town opposite. Luciano, who is very informative and knowledgeable about the history of the area, is impressively multi-lingual and helped make our visit very memorable.
Cons: We would have liked breakfast to have included a wider variety of cereals or muesli but nevertheless we didn't go hungry!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful terrace overlooking the city and the farm house
Cons: Nothing... property is perfectly located and very enjoyable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here only one night for our visit to The mosaics at Villa Romana. We were greeted with welcome drinks and also were upgraded to a large room with a balcony which we appreciated. There is also a large terrace which offers a stunning view of Piazza Armerina which is also the view from the breakfast room. Very clean and comfortable room. We booked here at last minute and it was very good value. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and host Alessandro couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming.
Cons: Wine was a bit expensive. Local bottle of wine was good but as expensive as if bought in a London restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted to experience a "farm stay" and this one was close to the Villa Romana and had great reviews. Lovely pool area and dinner was high quality local food - fresh grilled vegetables, local meats and cheeses, excellent pasta, fresh salad and delicious pork cutlets - accompanied by a good selection of Sicilian wine. Also - it was quiet - slept wonderfully!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Chance find on booking.com. Close to town with excellent food and very welcoming staff
Cons: Nil
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Food and wine were outstanding.
Cons: No air conditioning although the room fan was adequate.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The best homemade chocolate cake we have ever had. The breakfast was outstanding. There had been a huge storm the night before but the staff had managed to clear even the pool area. The views are terrific and the location incredibly peaceful.
Cons: Some books to read in English on rainy evenings.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything, the dinner we ordered was a bit heavy and overpriced. Great place for vacation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice balance between farm and hotel: neat, landscaped, nice pool, efficient but good old-fashioned eagerness to meet our needs and extra requests. Pleasant, clean, simple but smart accommodation: good attention to detail. It’s really in the countryside and quiet; you can really go for a walk. The breakfast is a remarkable spread, supervised by the nonna. All the people are genuine: we got to know no names, it wasn’t at all synthetic - they were good people. It’s in a lovely area: a good base for exploring the interior, with the Casale Roman mosaics very close by.
Cons: We’d have liked an extra signpost - on the Strada Provinciale: our GPS didn’t take us up to the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room and meal
Villa Trigona - Piazza Armerina - Building

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Cons: The room was dark and cold.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was better than average, and there was a fridge in the room. Guests can dine at the property, and we took advantage of this offer on arrival as it avoided getting back in the car and driving into town. The dinner was quite elaborate and very good value, though a little uneven in quality.
Cons: A kettle in the room would have been good. As in most of the Sicilian places we stayed in, the TV had many channels, but all were in Italian. No CNN, BBC, or - for that matter - French, Spanish, or German channels. The breakfast was poor by comparison with other Sicilian places in the same price bracket.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wished we had longer than one night to stay here!! It was beautiful! The house was so nice and the surrounding gardens as well! We visited in January, but wished it was summer so we could swim in the pool! The rooms are decorated like you are back in time and everything was very clean! You must have the dinner on site! It was one of the best meals of our lives! Breakfast was also amazing and with freshly baked pastries! Can’t wait to come back one day!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super comfy bed, the meal - including wine - was lovely, and great value.
Cons: The walls of the room were thin, we could hear our neighbour snoring!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The dinner and breakfast was the best meals we had had in Sicily. The pool and garden very nice
Cons: Had difficulty finding the location
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The smell is the bedroom very strong and bad unfortunately .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous old home with atmosphere. Lovely pool and extensive gardens. Friendly atmosphere with guests dining together .... perfect for a solo traveller.
Cons: The dinner was good value but was not exactly what was on the menu. Food was a bit basic .... I had hoped for better.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Design, staff, location, jacuzzi. Each room has a unique artistic design. Ours had a nice view of the cathedral and the central square. The staff (Mums) was most friendly and helpful.
Cons: Driving around the city may be a real challenge. Google GPS may lead into streets that are to narrow even with the mirrors folded. But this is not related to the hotel itself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The funky decor in the old building in a beautiful setting!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Experience was amazing
Cons: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent - in the centre and opposite a wonderful view of the duomo and surrounding countryside. The room was wacky and fun - we were given a choice on arrival. A great fun hotel with loads of art work. Welcoming staff and a good breakfast on the rooftop balcony overlooking the countryside. Perfect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The young man in reception and breakfast room, called Mams, was very informative, helpful and pleasant. Wonderful location only a short drive or bus journey from the incredible UNESCO site Villa Romana Casale.
Cons: The shower and shower screen above the bath needs to be reconfigured not easy to use.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If anyone is planning to visit Piazza Armerina Hotel Suite D'Autore is the best place to stay, I can highly recommend the hotel. Located just in front of the cathedral at the centre of the city. It's an Art gallery hotel and the art work of the hotel is just amazing. The owner and his staffs provide us with great hospitality and very welcoming as well.
Cons: There is absolutely nothing to dislike this place, everything went just perfectly and for that I will recommend this hotel to everyone, be assured you won't regret.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location and fun decore in the rooms

Pros: Great location. Angela is a wonderful host. Very comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A very centrally located and quiet apartment which is very convenient for visiting the town.
Cons: A little difficult to find parking at first but OK in the end. A more modern hot plate would help when trying to boil water for tea and an oven cloth for lifting pans off the stove and somewhere to put pots to dry would be great.

Pros: Good location between centro storico & area with supermarkets
Cons: No hairdryer

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just incredible, best dinner I had in Sicily, everything is so positive...
5.0 Okay
Pros: Thé location
Cons: Breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Room was spacious and clean. Set up in a nice nature. The pool was big. Liked everything...
Cons: Nothing. But breakfast could have more varieties and more local produce rather than packed food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Value was great. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Pool looks great for summer (we were there in Nov. so too cold to swim). But we enjoyed the fireplace. It could be very quiet in winter - we overlapped with a tour group but other than them and us, I think we were the only guests. Appears to be a starting point for lots of hikes and bike rides and if I had more time I would've taken a hike.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location for he villa romano
Cons: Being asked to pay to rent a towel for the pool I was told I can’t use the room towels but could rent a towel for use by the pool. On principle I did not. Charging for a pool towel...really? The food was ok at best, set menu was plentiful but quality so so. Antipasto was adequate, pasta ok, main course very salty I was expecting more from the reviews to be honest
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room and the pool.
Cons: There wasn’t any direction at dinner time and even though we were the first to dinner, we were the last to be served with our two small children being really hungry before us even getting to the restaurant. The room was on the top floor which is no small feat for a family with 2 young children.

Pros: Extremely heplful guys on the Reception Desk, we were upgraded to the spacious room with the terrace, and helped us even the day after our checkout to sort out our mini mess (we thought we forgot something in the hotel but it was a mistake, all was fine at the end we found everything). Thanks to the nice and kind lady who served delitious breakfast, too.
Cons: Piazza Armerina as the city itself was a but special, so we were happy to stay in this hotel as it was different
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, friendly staff, very quiet.
Cons: Bit of a way from town.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the reception manager's welcome. The food at the restaurant was very good, especially the pizza and sautéed spinach. Loved the two orphaned Street dogs the hotel has adopted. They'll occasionally check you out but are very friendly and quite handsome.
Cons: Dark wall colors in our room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the rooms are of a high quality.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to find on a road out of the town with lots of parking. Our room was clean and warm. Breakfast was excellent. If the restaurant had been open it would have been a great stop over hotel after visiting the Roman Villa before moving on to Enna and Agrigento.
Cons: We were expecting the hotel to have a restaurant. However the hotel is in a separate building and the restaurant was closed. There was nowhere to eat close by but a supermarket was handy a short car journey away

Pros: We were comfortable enough. Free on site parking. The restaurant was very good. I had a great vegetable pizza.
Cons: Their credit card machine wouldn’t work with a debit card.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Dinner was excellent.
7.9 Good
Pros: We booked a room with bath and balcony. Given a disabled room with no balconny. Shower leaked all over the bathroom. Room had no heating. Was given another room the next night. Room was bigger and had a proper shower. Again no balconny. There was a balconny but would need to climb out of window to access. The rooms are all hard surfaces so hear everything. Very quiet at night. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was very basic. No eggs although info showed eggs. Had dinner there. Home cooked simple meal. Think precooked and frozen so only needed heating up. Still was tasty. Staff very friendly but not much english. We do not speak Italian. Old hotel but kept very clean. Good location for mosaic museum. We had booked for 3 nights but left acter second. Cut our looses and left for elsewhere.
Cons: Refer to above comments.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location for Villa Romana
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s close proximity to the Villa Romana Casale and its mosaics. It was a basic hotek but with simple rustic italian food.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff - a family run business and they made us very welcome. We had breakfast lunch and dinner there and it was great. Maybe not haut cuisine but good food and plenty of it. The hotel is a pleasant walk from the villa romana (But don’t do it with small children - there’s no footpath and you have to be aware of the traffic). Obviously the villa itself is jaw dropping lay amazing and a definite must see even if you have to drive well out of your way to do it. We spent an entire afternoon there marvelling at the mosaics and could have spent longer but they closed! You don’t need a tour - just look and love.
6.3 Good
Cons: The personal in hotel doesn't speak English. No one.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a huge room and bathroom, the staff were friendly and helpful even though we had no common language
Cons: Nothing. The location might be inconvenient without a car but for us was most convenient for visiting the mosaics
9.6 Excellent
Pros: For a short stay excellent facilities. Disabled also well provided for. Good kitchen. Free parking. Short distance to mosaics. Very nice staff. Big rooms with every combination if traveller catered for.
Cons: Nothing just a big hotel catering for groups

5.0 Okay
Pros: It well located to go to piazza armerina and villa romana del casale by car, but far away from town centre if you do not have one. it is easy to find as it is very well signposted in the town.
Cons: Too near to the road ss117 bis so it could be noisy if the room is on that side. breakfast is very poor. it seems a little expensive for the quality offered.
5.6 Okay
Pros: Rich interior
Cons: Hotel staff apparently did not know we were arriving so we had to wait for the room to be prepared. Breakfast is very poor for a 4 star.
4.0 Okay
Cons: The hotel was close to a motorway and the first night was extremely noisy due to a number of coach parties and a lot of exuberant schoolchildren. We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious, but although there was a kettle and teabags in the room we couldn't plug it in and there were no cups.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The room was spacious and quite clean, but very bare
Cons: This is a pretentious but soulless hotel. The buffet breakfast was very modest. It is outside the town, and was nearly impoosible to find. No internet connection. It is very close to an elevated highway, which would be very noisy for rooms on that side of the hotel.
6.0 Good
Pros: convenient loocation for Piazza armerina

Pros: The room was clean and quiet, and a good value.
Cons:
5.6 Okay

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, round the corner is the cathedral and lots of nice restaurants nearby. Kimera is full of arts , love the decorations. The room is so spacious and bed is comfy. Wifi is good. Breakfast is good enough with Sicilian cakes. Park the car right outside the B&B. Lots of parking space. The host Rita is very kind and treat the guests very well. If I come back Piazza Armerina, must stay in this B&B again. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Nothing... property is perfectly located and very enjoyable

Perfect.

Pros: The young man in reception and breakfast room, called Mams, was very informative, helpful and pleasant. Wonderful location only a short drive or bus journey from the incredible UNESCO site Villa Romana Casale.

Pros: If anyone is planning to visit Piazza Armerina Hotel Suite D'Autore is the best place to stay, I can highly recommend the hotel. Located just in front of the cathedral at the centre of the city. It's an Art gallery hotel and the art work of the hotel is just amazing.
