Located in Chinatown, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of HERE, New York University, and New York Stock Exchange. Brooklyn Bridge and Federal Reserve Bank of New York are also within 1 mi (2 km).
What a location!Pros: I especially loved being on the corner of a subway stop, a couple of blocks from Little Italy, a couple of blocks from Chinatown, and walking distance to so much more. The hotel was clean and neat and my room was updated. Even the coffee was good.Cons: I was alone and just wanted a clean, comfortable room to wash, dress, and sleep in. I didn't care that the room was very small (not even a closet, just 4 hooks) and the bed only a double size. This is NYC. Rent even for studio apartments is ridiculous. But, couples and families should make sure to get a larger room.
Great location. Very small rooms. Bathroom in majoPros: Hotel is steps away from the subway. A short walk to Little Italy and the Financial district. Lobby doors lock in the late evening for added security. Cons: The bathroom was riddled with mold due to poor cleaning and ventilation.
Had to keep to bathroom door closed to avoid the smell.
Incredible valuePros: Very good sized room for Nyc
The core stuff was almost all there and really nice. It's clearly a budget hotel, but on the verge of not feeling like one.Cons: Internet sucked!!! As much as I loved this place and think it's an incredible value, for that reason alone I'd think twice about returning.
Can't control room temperature. Too much AC for my liking the first day and I left shivering, but after that was fine.
Service very limited. What hotel doesn't have wine glasses? And they had a corkscrew, but I had to talk them into letting me borrow it.
ComfortablePros: Location and proximity to subway, price, a comfortable place to sleepCons: No computer use for guests
