Room was disgusting. Stains on everything, and I mean everything. I'm not talking about spilled coffee, these were bodily fluids. The "upgrade and renovated" rooms I paid extra for? Right, come to find out, that just means they added a useless safe to the closet. Worst experience I've ever had at any hotel. Don't waste your money or your health.
The location was great for my needs.
My room was poor overall for what I paid. There was mold all over the bathroom, the sink & bath would not drain, the toilet needed to be flushed several times and the pillows were terrible.
So much to see and do at the Hotel and in the area. Champagne brunch with crab legs, view from the top and 9 big screens in one place for Sunday football. Staff I encountered were great.
I love the location of the hotel
There was only an outdoor pool
I definitely got my money's worth but this hotel needs a serious renovation. The staff was nice and friendly. The food at the buffet was HORRIBLE. Overall, ok if you need somewhere to crash for a night.
We did enjoy the rides, casino and restaurant choices at the hotel.
The bathroom was very small as was the sink/mirror area outside of the bathroom.
Good views of the strip from the top and cool to see people on the rides and jumping
Decor was very old and dated and not very clean, bathroom was so tiny and dimly lit. It's at the very end of the strip so not convenient and also bad part of town. Bus drivers and locals would warn us to not go to certain sides of the hotel as it is dangerous. Also, staff were like robots and not smiley or friendly. Will not stay here again.
Not very good for the money
Got a great price, so I expected not the best accommodations, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had great customer service experience, nice room, good atmosphere, and a comfortable bed. I will be back! !!!!
Hotel, tower, value
I liked the shows. My group watched Michael and The Pinup dancers and throughly enjoyed both. The gift shops were everything you could need we didn't even leave the first day with everything to do. My hands down favorite part of the whole place was jumping off the top of the tower and being able to see that spectacular view.
The bathrooms in my room at least was fairly small and I felt cramped while I was in there.
Nice hotel, great staff, clean, fun and so much to do.
My only complain would be the fact that I had to pay $130 when I checked in for all the facilities that could be used. Never had time to use any of of them because I was specifically there for one reason and had no time to do anything else. Not to mention, when I called the hotel no one ever mentioned to me about that $130 charge. Wasn't crazy about the location either because it was far from everything else.
Rooms are dated.
It is a great venue, always affordable and reliable. Walking distance to the fun spots!!!
I have no complaints
Nice rooms, everything you need is in the hotel. There are many food options and shopping within.
We went to celebrate my husband birthday. We went to the pool that was fine. We tried to get dinner at roxy diner the hotess said he wouldn't seat my latin husband we went to the front desk to tell them how upset we were and how they were planning on fixing this issue. The man from the diner came to us. He said His boss would be calling us the next morning. We never got a call the front desk nothing. This was my second time staying there. I was very dissaponted in how the diner acted for rasic comment to us. And how there was no help from the front desk. I will never go back and plan to let everyone I know on what happened.
nothing we tried to leave after there was no help to there guest.
While the room was okay it was a fun to go up top for a look
The pool was closed...the elevators from the top were terribly slow (crowded).
The Tower and the rides up top. This is a unique idea and quite exciting. The buffet was pretty good for a buffet. We had a good time.
The shower head in our room needed to be replaced.
The lady from housekeeping super sweet, the whole staff at the rooms area was so nice and friendly. The staff at the photo booth super fast super friendly even I hate taking the picture I eneded up buying it because of my mom, if mom wants it she will get it.
The people at check in terrible they make me feel bad for getting my deal by a third party not helpful at all, cero patient even got upset for asking question that they think were obvious. Im sorry I have the right as many questions about the payment as I want. The location was terrible I wouldnt even call it strip area is the dead part/way to creepy side/not recomended to hang out and sightseened at night. Seriously go somewhere else, I went there only because my mother loved it in 1996 when this hotel used to be a thing now is not fun be in. The worst!!! If you want to see the nice view at the stratosphere you have to make a row YES! Even if you stay at the hotel. Then they force you to take the picture for selling it to you and then you only have 2 elevators in order to go UP or come down from there!!!! Why someone will do something so stupid!!!! Ohh and the crappy pizza at the Tower pizza I didnt need to try it to SEE it was going to be a big mistake, the pizza was sitting there for hours no fresh the staff again cero friendly at all.
Keep the stable internet
The room was spacious Easy Checkout
Cleanliness is a problem. Found hair in the towels provided by the staff. Not to mention the telephone in the room is outright dirty. The shower didn't work properly. The soaps and shampoos when we checked in were missing.
is the $40.00 fee
service is good and fast
they should keep microwave and fridge in the rooms
Our room was never clean, our beds were never made.
We had reservations months in advance. I paid for 3 non-smoking rooms for 5 people. When we arrived at 2:30 we were told our rooms were not ready to come back after 3:00. We ate at a hotel restaurant with great food and service. When we want back to the front desk an hour later we were told they did not have our non-smoking rooms with two beds anymore that they had been given away. The clerk was not polite or apologetic. We had a hard time understanding how tjey could not block out our rooms for an hour!?
Elevators were quick, tower was nice but not worth having to pay 17.99 extra per day for the privilege to go up there. The shops were reasonably priced. Restaurants we ate at had good food but a little higher priced.
Mold on our bathroom ceiling, the bolster on the bed had something pretty nasty on it, who knows what it could be, view was bad. I guess this is what you get when you don't book through the hotel or your airlines.
I used kayak's trip total feature while booking stratosphere. Was jot aware of the fact stratosphere charged resort fee in top of trip total.
Bar top poker super tight
The restaurants in the casino were very good - Roxy's Diner, Fellini's Restaurant and the Top of the World. There was also a Starbucks with great service. The hotel charged a $20/day resort fee in addition to the hotel fee charged by Kayak.
The location was too far from the center of the Strip in what is stil la very sketchy neighborhood.
Not modern, nothing special
The long wait to get to top
The romance lounge was nice at the top of the tower
I did not like that we try to check in early (1pm) but the room was not ready so they gave us a different room which felt like a downgrade from what we had booked . Some of the staff need work on how to treat there guess . These was my 2nd time staying here but now it will be my last
The inside of the casino and the lobby
The xtra money they charge after all
They were very rude
You guy suck I payed for a stripview and didn't get one
The staff was excellent. Location was good cause your 2 minutes from either Fremont or downtown on the strip
No refrigerator. Tried to get one ordered cause we brought kids with drinks and food but was not available. Even though the lobby and casino area was clean Our room felt very muggy and dirty. For the price I paid on kayak plus the additional fees that get added when you arrive we could have stayed at any other resort for the same price that has all the accommodates with newer, modernized, and cleaner rooms. We will not be ordering through kayak or staying at the stratosphere again. We made the best out of the bad situation and still had fun as a family though. Golden Nugget will be our next choice after checking it out and you can order straight through them and get a cheaper rate then what kayak gave us.
We like the free access to the tower.
bathroom is really small and sink in the room. Hotel is a little far from everything else, but there is a bus stopping at the hotel.
Nothing in that hotel was to my liking.
The room was filthy, the room service was unreliable (room was never cleaned 2 out of 6 days of stay), the buffet and food were disgusting, the hole ways smelly and dirty, resort fees was add at $17.99/day, the location is far from the main attraction on the strip, the parking gives bad impression of the place (dark parking, small places to park, no security present), help screening in the middle of the night were headed twice, room service employees talking loud and making sexual remarks starting at early morning, even for bargain hunters the place missed all marks!
