10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best in town place. Owner of the place takes a good care of customers, awesome food at restaurant, amazing location to watch sunsets. Owner was really helpful when we needed some help and he is an honest and kind person. Got fair prices when asked to book bus to travel to another part of Cambodia.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is nice and the owners hepful. Great restaurant and breakfast.
Cons: The extra bed should be really more comfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are comfortable, spacious and quiet. The wifi works well, there is a safe, good storage, and the bathroom functions without problems. I was always very comfortable and felt relaxed while in my room. The staff is uniformly excellent and has been well trained to meet all of the guests' needs with a smile. There is even a reliable, reasonably priced tuk tuk driver on site. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant faces the ocean with a great view and comforting breezes. The food here is excellent--you need not go anywhere else. Sihanoukville is currently enduring a construction boom that will completely change the laid back atmosphere that this town used to represent; fortunately the well managed Sunset Lounge has managed to retain that laid-back feeling. I highly recommend staying here when in town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bungalows were a great size meticulously cleaned each day by very friendly happy staff. The rest served great food with a fantastic choice and reasonably priced. The restaurant staff were so attentive and again friendly and happy. The swimming pool was kept spotless the gardens were amazing and so well kept. The owners were such lovely people. The place is an oasis in a construction desert.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed one night. Very nice grounds, pool, beach area, clean and very friendly staff. Cant imagine any place similar in sihanoukville.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We spent 1 night before our journey to Koh Rong island. If you plan to stay in Sihanoukville, don’t stay in city and go to this resort. 4 km far from the pier and city, located on the beach, nice basic but clean resort running by German couple. Very nice pool, service and food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners and staff were fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. My bungalow was so lovely and the balcony out front was great to spend time reading on. The pool is so clean and as it is away from the road, quiet and scenic. The food is amazing - thankfully, as there is no-where else around to eat anymore!
Cons: The area is just construction, construction, construction - the dust in horrific and everything nearby has been bulldozed. The hotel was beautiful but the devastation around the area is a nightmare.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff Good food Beautiful garden If we need to stay in Sihanoukville we would stay there again.
Cons: Sihanoukville is being destroyed...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner of the property is very friendly and helpful. Near to the beach.
Cons: All the places in Sihanoukville were under construction. A bit far from the town but beach is very near.

Pros: Chilled and great food and staff were amazing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful quiet hotel with clean, comfy rooms, a nice pool, lovely bamboo bar & lounge, just off a strip of great spots to eat Khmer food and bumping (if sparsely populated) discotheque bars. Gem.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly Staff, good organisation, great khmer green tee, Open air bar
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great food and service, helped with getting us a car, nice air conditioned room with a balcony overlooking some nice views. 10/10 would definitely go again.
Cons: N/A
7.1 Good
Pros: Good food and clean
Cons: The property staff and food was great. We wish we had gone there a few years ago. The Chinese have destroyed Sihounikvilleand all local businesses.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting was beautiful particularly when in the restaurant ... and the staff were amazing. The air conditioner was not working at 100% and could not be fixed immediately. The staff offered us another room but we could not be bothered to move as it was not that uncomfortable. When we got back from the beach they apologized profusely for entering our room without permission but had disconnected an air conditioning unit from another room and replaced ours with it. That kind of sums up the service here - in the restaurant and all around. Our apologies for not just moving rooms. We had no idea the work we were about to cause.
Cons: Touch of mildew smell in the room but our stay was just at the end of the rainy season so I'm not sure if it could be helped given the water and humidity everywhere. We would definitely go back here given the food, the service, and the value.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Hotel used to be great in the past but now everything all around the hotel is destroyed and we had a feeling that hotel is living its last days...
Cons: 1) Location - We had a car so we could get out though dirty and dusty construction zone which is eventually all city all around. Impossible to avoid or ignore. I am not sure what other people do. Walking to the beach is 20 mins through a lot of construction dust and crazy traffic on busy roads - not nice at all. Tuk-Tuks expensive and hotel is remote so need to order. We found alternative passage less dusty but there you have to cross 3 meter tall concrete fence (literally). 2) Many questions about service (ignorance, noone in charge overall), and quality of water in the hotel in the rooms and swimming pool. 3) Being tired of food in the hotel restaurant (always mess with orders), we went to Pippa nearby where all 5 people were poisoned by sauce probably and so far we just missed couple of days 4) 4% over-charge by payment by credit card - does booking.com aware of this? I do not remember that in the terms of the booking
7.0 Good
Cons: The hotel is nice and staff was really helpful and friendly but do NOT go to Sihanoukville, the city is complete construction site.

Pros: The nicest hotel owners in Cambodia
Cons: Sihanoukville is not the best place to stay for a longer vacation (Chinese investors have changed this place in one massive construction site). But if you want/ need to stay in this city, definitely choose Spayhiti.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place! The host let me check-in much earlier. The room was extra clean and the view on the terrace just amazing! Tou
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice and relaxed place. Owner's are kind, relaxed and funny people. Good location, beach ir really nice in that area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the accommodation, very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The actual town, it's a building site. The hotel is in a very small nice part though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good choice to stay a night to head to the islands the next day. Lovely, cool owner with whom you can have a laugh and drink a beer. You won't leave the hotel, guaranteed! Chinese People destroyed Sihanoukville......
Cons: Of course noone likes to stay in Sihanoukville. We were here in February 2020 and it's the ugliest place I have ever been to. I waited with this review to see whether it's worth to come here anyways and after our trip to Koh Rong I can confirm: Yes, it is. So stay in this hotel only if needed for 1 night, so you can take the boat to the islands the next day :-)

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor, great facilities and friendly staff. The hotel is well designed and very clean! The food was great from the restaurant and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our short stay was a pleasant one. On arrival, we found a personalised note on the bed providing us with a wide range of information about the facilities and services on offer and also, information about the local area. We left wishing we had stayed longer.
Cons: The town is undergoing some major renovation. This isn't the hotels fault but outside of the hotel isn't particularly nice at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! On of the best hotels we stayed at. Staff, cleanliness, facilities etc -- I could not expect better. Restaurant is amazing, respect to the chief. Stayed here for the second time and were not disappointed. Worth ever cent spent.
Cons: Beach could be better, but that's unfortunately not the hotel's responsibility.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our friend recommended us this hotel - and our stay was perfect. Very nice and comfortable room, well trained and very nice and helpful staff. Dining experience was excellent also - we even visited the restaurant another time after moving to another hotel. The best seafood amok in Sihanoukville so far. Cocktails were very nice. Very good breakfast. Yoga classes were excellent as well. The beach was under maintenance during our stay - bury the problem was perfectly solved - the administration arranged a free boats for the guests going to different islands every day to enjoy beaches and swimming. Well done! Will definitely recommend this hotel and hope to visit again ourselves.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It's an absolutely stunning hotel, due to loads of constructions happening in city, its was a perfect place to be to escape it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The pool is relaxing and the restaurant served delicious food. The hotel makes you feel comfortable other than the city.
Cons: It is no secret that Sihanoukville is a horrible city with only construction sites. It‘s like a ghosttown owned by the chinese. It really looks like after a war. The part of the beach in front of the hotel was cleaned regularly. Everywhere else it‘s quiet dirty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fabulous room, aditional bathtub on the terrace, great view, excellent food, very f riendly staff
Cons: Almost all Sihanoukville under construction, going anywhere is not easy
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A clearly well-run and immaculate little place. Management deserve praise for the care and effort taken to make us feel comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful to accommodate us, arranging boat transfers to Koh Rong Sanloem and keeping an eye on our motorbikes! Restaurant food was fantastic and the live music on Saturday night was a nice touch. Really comfy bed! Overall a really lovely and intimate vibe, would definitely return in future (maybe after the roads are finished!).
Cons: The only things I didn't like were obviously beyond the control of the resort itself ie. the construction in the surrounding area. The staff did everything they could to mitigate, so I'm very grateful for that!

5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff, great pool. There are trying to make the best out of it considering the circumstances.
Cons: The hotel is nice, little bungalows near the pool. But everywhere at the whole beach area is building site and road construction. There mostly working in the night, so I couldn’t sleep and there is dust everywhere. Normally the hotel have to inform guest in advance then wouldn’t have come. On top of that, when we arrived I paid the driver and after that I took my wallet into my daypack and left it there in the room, because it didn’t seam save to me with all the construction workers around and everything around closed or damaged. The next day we left I wanted to pay the driver at the pier, my wallet was gone. Even I had it in the room in my daypack all the time. I don’t blame anyone from the hotel, off course nobody found anything. But if you dont have to go to sihanoukville than dont! Its not save there! I am truly sorry to all the people who has to work there and handling with this shitty city!
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing the hotel grounds were filthy but it is not the fault of the hotel but the cambodian government for allowing this to go on.
Cons: There is now nothing left of sihanoukville there are only 3 small hotels in this area, no bars no resteraunts no night life no beach the infrastructure of this once great place has now gone and will take at least 20 years to get back. I strongly advise people do not travel here to stay, only if you are passing through for the islands
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great one night stay at Sea Breeze Resort. Our room was so clean and comfy with good aircon, wifi and hot water. Really nice pool area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful eg helping us organise a transfer with our ferry company for free. The on site restaurant is great and there is a good range of breakfast options included. We really enjoyed our stay here, thank you to all of the staff for our experience.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff very helpful and friendly
Cons: Hotel is 20 meters from the beach. If there is no construction in the surroundings, I would rate the hotel 10
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, swimming pool, amazing breakfast, helpful staff
5.0 Okay
Pros: Not a good experience at all
Cons: We read in the reviews that the staff was super helpful and caring but we had a completely different experience. We only stayed one night as we had to be in the airport very early. The check in was a mess, the receptionist was playing a game while we were asking him if they arranged our taxi early in the morning. I had to ask him twice to stop playing and listen to me. Then they kindly offered us breakfast for take away since we had to leave super early, but in the morning, when we went to pick it up, it was not ready because they forgot. Our taxi driver for the airport was late... in summary, not a good experience at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and cozy hotel, with awesome and helpful stuff

Pros: The Food was so expensive.
Cons: Everything was so expensive ,even the water drinking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are very clean. The stuff is very friendly.
6.0 Good
Cons: Bad isolation of the rooms - quite noisy. Crowded buffet with long ways to the buffet. Asked for transportation to the port but had to reconfirm 3 times (once per mail, once the evening when we arrived and finally on the morning) always with feedback that they cannot find the booking.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Too much expensive
5.7 Okay
Pros: Beach is excellent.
Cons: Pool was too crowded, breakfast was too crowded, thought we had a room in main building, instead we stayed in a rather poor room at something called Sokha Express. Same campus but low quality room. Seems like false advertising.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The private beach with the bar was great! Breakfast buffet had tasty selections. You can't beat the open air feel of this hotel. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.
Cons: Needed to call maintenance to tighten the detachable shower head mount.
4.0 Okay
Cons: We all fell ill because of air condition of the hotel as it inspires air from other rooms!!
4.0 Okay
Pros: Beach is the best of this Resort.
Cons: Service is bad and prices like in Kempinski .

Pros: Location
Cons: Cleaning and room services

This hotel has facilities measuring 7104 square feet (660 square meters), including a conference center. 7.0 Good
Pros: The territory of the hotel is very nice, on the hotel's beach there are no that much people, you are able to relax. The stuff is helpful and friendly. The location is away from city centre but taking into account all construction works in the city - this is a good point for the moment.
Cons: Not adequate prices in the restaurants. We are in Camboya, not in Europe. The water for 4 dollars is not acceptable. Too many chinese guests who are very loud and don't let you to distract totally. The prices are so expensive because of them, but hardly 20% of all of them are eating in the hotel (not including the breakfasts which are for free). I would recommend to spend time on the islands close to the city.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The ocean pool was nice, but it got too crowded and a lot of people without proper swimming suit specially Chinese.
Cons: The staff didn’t explain the hotel, we had to figure it out, the spa was about to take more money from our payment than they should, the bar serve the drinks but forgot about us twice and they charge the service fee but the service was the worst.

Pros: The place and staff are amazing! Booked 3 days, stayed 13!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is nothing enough to say about this place, is just magical, from the people to the bonfire to the incredible island.just go there
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This place feels like home. I’m grateful that I have found such a Positive place! The staff were incredibly friendly, I love how there wasn’t any wifi which forced people to socialize. Great community of people and will absolutely consider going back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The criteria do not apply to this hostel, its about being laid back, stepping out of the world a short while and being surrounded by kind caring people, go, this is pretty unique
Cons: That these lovely people battle with other people's litter, they work hard to keep it at bay but if the wind is wrong then it returns fast, fortunately it is rare, only 1 day I was there the litter could not be beaten otherwise paradise!
7.5 Good
Pros: Paradise. Nice staff, good food, great vibes. You are on an island so accommodation is basic but does the job nicely.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The only saving grace is the food. The food was exceptional, but it’s prepared by a Cambodian family who’s tucked away and hardly interacts with the guests, it felt like the truest sense of colonialism that was sickening to witness.
Cons: My boyfriend and I booked three nights at the Last Point after having read a few positive reviews and reading about it in our 2017 Lonely Planet guide book. Our experience leads me to believe that The Last Point may have been a gem at some point, but that recently things have drastically changed; wether that be new management, different staff or some other major business change. Getting out to the island of Koh Ta Kiev was extremely difficult as they only have one boat that goes to the island every day at noon. We arrived around 15:00 and ended up paying $50 for a private water taxi to take us out there. Upon arrival we’d thought we’d booked the wrong place because nothing nearly remotely resembled the chill breezy vibes we had read in the reviews/our book. The most jarring thing once you get off the boat is the amount of trash on the island. The beach front and the facilities at The Last Point are flooded with garbage. Our first morning there we went for a walk on the beach and couldn’t even enjoy the view because we were dodging glass, plastic, styrofoam and other trash. We ended up filling up 4 large trash bags (from bags we found floating on the shore) full of garbage just to clear our path walking in the sand, this wasn’t looking at the tree line behind us that was substantially worse. We booked a beach bungalow that was filthy on the inside with dirty sheets, massive gaping holes in the mosquito net and trash scattered around the outside. The hostel is ran by Euro hippies whose chill vibe has morphed into an apathetic one that’s too drugged out to care about the guests, the island, or their deteriorating facilities. We ended up spending most of our time at the neighboring hostel called the “Kactus” who’s beach front was clean and grounds were cared for. If you go to Koh Ta Kiev do your self a favor and book your stay at the Kactus and walk over to The Last Point and see for your self that you’ve dodged the biggest bullet by not staying there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff
Cons: All was amazing
7.0 Good
Pros: The food was very tasty! Pizza's were the best on the menu :D Staff behind the bar were really friendly and helpful.
Cons: One of the owners came across as very rude, did not speak to the guests in a polite manner and we felt bad for even asking for a basic drink or food. Wanted to clean our clothes, but couldn't as the well was really low in water. On the evening, we felt as though we were looked down upon when people were doing the fire show because we were talking together- we didn't realise we had to stay silent when watching a performance.

Pros: The resort is an oasis in the middle of all the constructions and dilapidated condition of Sihanoukville. The staff were extremely curteous, ambience of the place was nice and the rooms were pretty good with a nice comfortable bed and huge bathroom
Cons: Just the AC was not cooling but it was repaired quickly when we complained
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bungalows in garden setting. Pool, nice restaurant. Quiet located at beachroad. There is a lot of construction going on but this place is peaceful. Very nice soft beds and silent A-C.
Cons: But far away from the town they’re trying to build. You need a bike to get around (can be rented 400 m to the right when leaving the hotel)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely, very clean, big bed. The garden is very nice.
Cons: The bathroom was partially open so it was hot and with lots of mosquitos. The idea is nice but it doesn't work. Also there were lots of mosquitos and flies everywhere and at the restaurant it's really annoying.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing resort with great room and restaurant. The service is phenomenal! The personalities working in this hotel are incredibly hospitable, warm and welcoming. I prefer this over any other resort I have ever experienced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and kind and the facilities on offer were excellent. The pool was a great place to cool off. The restaurant and food were really great. The beach view and sunsets were a dream, either whilst sitting down eating your food or laying down on the beach laychair drinking a coctail.
Cons: There was construction happening next door during the stay which caused some loud noise at times. Wouldn't deter me from coming back and staying again though when the construction is completed.

Pros: Ok the regular line staff are great. Helpful, nice. Very good people. The manager doesn’t say hi to you. He was very unfriendly to other Asian travelers but he was super welcoming to westerners. Really disappointing to experiencing this. If you are Asian stay away.
Cons: The location is way to far from the good areas of the island. It’s at least a 15 minute walk to other restaurants and other beautiful parts of the beach. The front area isn’t as nice compared to other parts of the island. For $80 a night in December I expected more. The bathroom was clean but there’s no hot shower! I like to shower before and after I start the day but it’s super cold.

Pros: If you really have to be in Sihanoukville than go here. Otherwise stay the hell out of this ruined warzone. I never saw such a sad and depressing environment in my live. Shame on the government of Cambodia by letting the Chinese taking over Sihanoukville and ruining the lives of all the locals there. I had tears in my eyes by seeing it all, it was horrible. Next to that we tought we booked a romantic room with a view on the river. Just a bungalow for the 2 of us. Instead of that we got the room with no swans on the bed ( as it seemed on the picture and not really important), mold on the wall, no decoration at all, under a very loud dorm and in between the storage and the garbagedump with broken toiletpots, and all kind of other broken stuff. See the pictures.. all the other looked cabins actually looked nice. We went away after one night, but this was really to get the hell out the Chinese casinohell! The staff was super friendly and sweet. I feel really sorry for them that their home and lives get ruined by these moneyseeking a...holes. They don’t deserve that.
Cons: See above
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The whole city was a big construction site, it was so much garbage and dust that all the clothes was so dirty every day. Maybe in 2022 the constructions will be done.
7.0 Good
Pros: The city is really not worth a stop. And this hotel is far from the pier, so not really a great stop by. Of the intentions are to visit Otres Beach, than this is the place for you.
Cons: Shared bathroom not very good, few water and cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly Staff and great food!
