Pros: The hotel is the nicest on Railay in my opinion. Beds are comfy, everything is clean, staff is friendly! It definitely feels modern and kept up to high standards in comparison to the surrounding hotels.
Cons: The gym is a joke (I guess it’s better than none) and my wife and I couldn’t shake a stomach bug while we were there (eating only at the resort for our meals) and we were VERY cautious having no ice and sticking primarily to cooked food. we relied on their hotel water bottles which I would stay clear of as i don’t think it’s to the standard of the stores and was likely the issue of our constant stomach pains.

Pros: The hotel is fine, staff is super nice, rooms are clean, design elements are boring, but it's on the beach so kind of gets a pass.
Cons: Railay beach is overrun with squaking euro tourists and overbuilt with big empty hotels. It feels like the place was overbuilt x 2 and there are it enough interested travelers to keep the prices up, so it's a race to the bottom. As the empty hotels cut their prices more and more, the crowd gets less and less savory. It's a place to go for the afternoon or to skip all together, for sure...

Pros: The location is great, about a block up from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The staff are so nice and helpful. They gave a free glass of juice at check in and 2 free bottles of water daily.
Cons: The hotel is starting to show it's age, older fixtures and feel. We apparently set the A/C too cold one night (only about 22 Celsius) and the whole electric for the room shut off for about half an hour.

Pros: We booked this hotel as a layover hotel - because we arrived too late to catch a long boat to Railay Beach. This is a lovely place. It's on the main drag, and we checked in at night - so it wasn't until morning when we went to the interior courtyard, and saw the view of the water from our balcony, that we saw it's lovely secrets. The staff are so lovely and helpful. Since we had attended a wedding in India earlier, we had lots of extra baggage that we didn't want to take to the beach. The hotel was happy to check them for us for five days.

Cons: Staff was unable to communicate or provide resolution to a very simple issue. Was told no refund and no room provided (they only had "upgraded" rooms for double the price), despite their booking issue. This type of service would never fly in other parts of the world, here it was not only all they would do but they laughed about it on our way out. Location is poor compared to many others around and is very expensive comparatively, both of which I can live with, but the extremely poor service of the night manager was unacceptable.

Cons: Off the beaten path so a long walk to vacation tour booking kiosks. Instead of the hotel booking it for you to help with this inconvenience, they double the price and profit more off the booking. Shouldn't one try and assist the customer by making the reservations at cost as a courtesy to outweigh the imbalance and distance. That's taking advantage of your clients, not taking care of your clients. Also wifi is awful and no hot water. Not on beach. Restaurant staff was awful and in attentive. Food average. Eat down the street. Staff can't speak English at all.

Pros: I liked the customer service additude of the staff. Mr Ong in the reception area creates a festive atmosphere with his interaction and positive response to any question or problem. The hotel was just remodeled and it seems they never set up the TV in our room. A man from the reception staff imeadiately responded to my repair request and sent a maintenance guy at 10pm to correct the situation. The place was clean and the garden atmosphere was beautiful. The breakfast was good. But being Asia, the Asian portion of breakfast was downright delicious. The staff at the breakfast was always couretous and happy and made you feel at home. It was also a nice touch that they had the lobby decorated for Christmas. Staff Customer service is the best thing about this place..5 star staff. Would stay there again.
Cons: I was in room 504 and being a retired University Facilities Director, I can tell you that they never did a proper startup on the facilities to get out all of problems fixed that are common after construction. The rooms look beautiful and stylish but things like, the TV set up. Some slow running drains. Electrical switches that work sporadically indicate that they may have many minor problems throughout the facility for some time. The only real maintenace issue I observed was that the fish pond between the reception area and the pool was dirty should be cleaned immeadiately makes a poor impression of of what should be a great hotel facility. I am sure they will correct the above issues soon.

Pros: The location to a beach was nice although this was not a beach you could swim at!
Cons: The downsides were the dirty and rundown bathroom aswell as not being able to flush toilet paper down the toilet. The biggiest problem was the fact that we would wake up every day with many bug bites covering our bodies clearly from some type of bed bug. We stayed in multiple places before but they quite a bit cleaner and the bites started night we arrived here so I don't believe we tracked them from another hotel. The hotel staff is decently friendly and our stay was not horrible but just be aware!

Pros: We didn't have a place to stay until we arrived l, so this was a great option for a last minute stay. The staff was nice and helpful.
Cons: The breakfast was not the greatest and the shower had drainage issues which created a flood on the bathroom. However, overall good stay.
