Nice resort with beautiful grounds. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. We stayed in an "ocean view" room which had a very nice "beach area outside of our back door and veranda.
Parking is limited and constrained. The shuttle service to Old Town is inconvenient (2 hour intervals); but free. There are very few local (within walking distance) restaurants. The best, a Fridays, has closed.
We loved the place, It was well kept and clean, had nice pools and outside bar. The staff is great and all you have to do is ask and it gets taken care of.
PK staffers were very diligent in their quest to make the hotel first class. Thank you for your efforts!
Our room phone never did work. Internet service was frequently interrupted. BR sink faucets functioned poorly. The White Sox did not win too many games.
Beautiful resort with amazing gardens surrounding four pools. Reasonable price. Staff was very friendly. Wish I could have stayed longer!
The location was nice....
Too pricey for what you get. Don't expect to relax! More of a party hotel. Thought I was back in college but then I couldn't afford it.
Great resort but...
Loved the resort and public areas. The bartender was the nicest lady I have ever seen. She made our trip.
When we arrived at 6pm I was told my room was not ready as I had made my reservation an hour before....so I guess rooms don't get clean unless there are reservations made which made no sense.
Beautiful, large, quiet rooms; free parking
Beach front but can't swim in the water.
We love it
Townhome style hotel rooms with porches and balconies. 4 pools. Shuttles to the beach. Next to Walgreens.
Late check in time.
Expensive for what you get. No extra incentives are included in what you pay for the rooms it all costs extra. Rather go to the marriott just down the road again.
great value for money.
food was a bit pricey and left a bit to be desired.
Excellent base for visiting Key West, luxury and well appointed with no faults!
Excellent hotel. Better value for groups of 4 minimum. New and classy, well furnished and spacious.
The property is courtyard shaped series of 2 story townhomes, with four smallish courtyard pools in the center. It's a decent value - but not in the heart of the downtown action.
It is located exactly next door to a Walgreens and across the street from a strip mall.
Very comfortable rooms. Were upgraded to the bigger room
No beach nearby
Loved the cute caribbean colors and hotel townhouse like rooms
The fact that it's not on the beach. It was said to be walking distance from it and it was 2 miles away from the beach. Also, mentioned breakfast was complimentary, but, hotel offers no breakfast and restaurant on site is limited menu and hours.
Explore the Florida Bay away from the bustling Key West area at the Parrot Key Hotel and Resort. Travelers can experience a hidden getaway as they enjoy the lush landscape across the five-acre waterfront property, a wide front porch with rocking chairs, and a beautiful beach not far away.
Located on the Florida Bay away from the entertainment district, Parrot Key’s quiet neighborhood offers a welcoming atmosphere. While the hotel is hidden among the lush grounds, there are still stores like Publix and Home Depot a few blocks away. A free shuttle is offered to and from Smathers Beach; however, Duval, where the main entertainment and dining is located, is accessible by a short car or taxi ride.
The getaway hotel is accompanied by four pools spread across the property, a tropical-style restaurant and tiki bar, and a small gym. The hotel offers concierge services for guests such as parasailing, boating, kayaking, tennis, gold, and jet skiing. Bicycles, scooters, and water vehicles are a great way to get around the property and surrounding areas.
The 148-rooms at Parrot Key Hotel and Resort are designed like townhouses and condos since the property was originally meant to be a townhome community. The rooms are decorated with brightly colored Bahamian-influenced décor and range from studios to three-bedroom suites. Standard and convenient room amenities are provided for travelers, and some rooms offer water views.
With a brand new, refined, and completely refreshed look, Parrot Key Hotel and Resort stays true to the original Key West spirit while providing an island getaway for travelers.
