9.6 Excellent
Pros: Totally clean, spacious room, hot showers, and beautiful gardens w a pool. Everything perfect
Cons: It would be lovely to have brewed coffee in the morning or a coffee pot in the room. Some fresh fruit?
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet. Pool area very pleasant Hot water, tea and coffee available in lobby in the morning Short walk to main plaza
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable rooms in a nice, quiet house Lovely pool Friendly staff Walking distance to the town centre Free parking
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, large room, everything was clean, very friendly owners
Cons: If I was in my room they wouldn't ask to clean it. I was offered a light breakfast one morning but not the other mornings. I may have misunderstood.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is cute and very close to the main square. The swimming pool looks amazing, but unfortunately it was raining when we were in Izamal so we couldn't use it! There are some rooms just in front of the pool, and other rooms are next to the reception. We had a room just next to the reception, but it was not noisy, so we didn't have any problem with that. You can park your car inside and leave your keys at the reception so that they can move it themselves.
Cons: I didn't feel very welcome when we arrived. The staff didn't really welcome us by giving us information or any smile (which is rare in Mexico). It is good to know that the room was very very hot which makes it impossible to sleep without AC. But these are small details if you are just looking for a cheap accommodation in Izamal for a short stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thank you, lovely place.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the building and the location. It is right on the plaza and everything you could need - is just outside the door. The coffee was wonderful and the staff were both pleasant and accommodating. They were even patient with me when I tried to communicate in (poor) Spanish. The little garden upstairs was a great delight to me.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike but I do wish they served other meals besides breakfast.
7.0 Good
Pros: +location right at the main square +nice historic building
Cons: -very noisy. Traffic noise and police whistling plus events on the weekend. Old windows did not absorb any of that. Recommend eat plugs. -included breakfast very basic.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is great, breakfast choices were excellent. Overall hotel and rooms were clean and well prepared. The hotel also had an excellent shop with local made items. The price was also very reasonable. Additionally, on certain nights a short sound and light show takes place with the projection straight onto the facade of the hotel - a very nice moment
Cons: The issue holding back our scores is the noise. We booked the upstairs rooms with balconies not knowing they looked straight onto the road around the square and there is a supermarket next door with lorries delivering often - the traffic noise throughout the night spoilt our stay and the booking options should let customers know this when seeking a quieter room choice
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is excellent, right in the middle of Izamal. The inside is charming and the rooms comfortable.
Cons: The staff was very rude. They could not speak English at all (the only thing the girl could say was "Pay now" in a quite aggressive manner) and were not welcoming at all, almost hostile.. There was no breakfast available and they were not helpful at giving us good addresses to eat.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was small. We complemented it ordering eggs with extra cost. Place is very nice and well located, and very clean. It is just opposite the main square, and a couple of minutes walk from the Convent. Very charming town.
Cons: We had to complement the breakfast ordering eggs with an extra cost. Marmalade was only from small containers, nothing special. Front desk staff was not very helpful with extra requests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place, highly recommended.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was perfect cause we were in the center of Izamal ! The patio was quiet and exotic.
Cons: No good WiFi in the rooms, only in the reception. The breakfast is very small.. we ordered for more and we were ready to pay more but they weren’t ready at 7:30 (they started the service at 7..?!). The staff stayed all the time behind their desk on their telephone so not very welcoming and helping.. The room was OK Better value in the city can be found..! So bad
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful hotel and garden, clean and quiet rooms and nice staff in the very heart of the town (we even had a view at the convento!)
Cons: It would be nice if the staff knew some basic English :)

7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent location with a pool to cool down after a hot afternoon of exploring
Cons: The "breakfast included" was 2 slices of bimbo bread ,fruit and coffee. You had to pay for anything extra! Receptionist was curt and unhelpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very friendly and location is amazing
Cons: There were no facilities for babies but we managed just fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location location location. You are in the heart of Izamal. I could see the convent and a pyramid from my bed. (See photo ) The three best restaurants in town are within a few blocks of the hotel. Really why would you stay at any other hotel in Izamal? It’s a very nice hotel. You need at least a little Spanish but they have staff that will meet you at least half way. One other thing that really impressed me was the water pressure. I have traveled a lot on Mexico and it was some of the absolute best I have ever experienced. It might seem small but after a hot day of climbing it’s very refreshing to clean up before dinner.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was very good and close to the main attractions and the center of town.
Cons: Our room did not have an outside view and was dark. The rooms were advertised as having a garden view or a view of the Convent; our room had neither. Breakfast was ok however charging for additional cups of coffee was odd.
7.1 Good
Cons: There was a noise all night outside of my room. I can’t have a good night
7.0 Good
Pros: Location and building beutiful
Cons: Not understanding with clerk
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is the highlight- great outdoor lounging space around the pool.
Cons: Although the room we stayed in was nice; not functional for a tourist. Bad lighting( no bedside lamp or lighting to read) just a ceiling light that felt like I was in an office. Also if you have trouble with stairs, not the right place for you. No power outlets to charge your device unless you use the plug in the bathroom. Also don’t have their breakfast that comes with the reservation - trust me on that
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent location. The staff was nice. The room was very beautiful and spacious with a wall separating the two beds. Great bathroom.
Cons: Second bed had a fan with light that could be on only with the light :/ A lot of mosquitoes. The stairs were VERY narrow, traveling with a big family, it was not great. It was said there is a parking, but not available for us. Again, with a big family, to park farther was not ideal. Coffee refills are not free at breakfast. The door's hinges could do with some oil.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is always excellent and the gardens are beautiful.
5.8 Okay
Pros: For breakfast the juice was not juice was watermelon water without sugar, this is an opportunity to improve. the location is far from the main square, but this makes it a quiet property
Cons: the staff at night is not very friendly, we asked for tortillas or bread for dinner and his response was to say that it was not included in the dinner even paying it
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, in a nice garden, rooms are very originaly decorated. Colonial style. Freindly staff and a very good breakfast. Also closed private parking place.
Cons: Cold water only during our stay
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Grounds are beautiful. Bed comfortable. Like fan (not just AC) in the room.
Cons: Staff (one person) was unable to get the cook (who only comes for dinner when needed) on the phone. So we had to go into Centro instead. ALSO: Pool had not been cleaned; was not attractive so did not use.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Macan Che is several long blocks from the center of Izamal, but the amenities of the location once you're there more than make up for the location. The senora in the kitchen cooked up a great pasta puttanesca for me one night, and the air conditioning was definitely worth it.
Cons: The location is a little hard to find and several long blocks from the center of town. (Taxis are cheap, though, if you avoid the occasional taxi tout who wants to charge you 100 pesos for the short tride.)

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Place is very nice, staff very friendly and our room was very comfortable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent if a little pricey by Yukatan standards. The shower was excellent as it was completely stone with vegetation on the walls and open to the forest apart from a mosquito protection. The relatively wild feel to the property in the forest.
Cons: Nothing could be much better.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very large bed, nice and comfortable
7.9 Good
Pros: Quiet neighborhood with natural surroundings Nice reformed bathroom Welcome drink
Cons: The pool was a bit dirty (lots of leaves, insects) Compared to other hotels we stayed in on our trip a bit expensive, considering the basic interior and no breakfast included
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast (at extra cost) was complete, location is bit far from downtown (15 min walk) but quiet. The hotel owner was welcoming and polite. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the company of the dogs they have adopted.
Cons: This has nothing to do with the hotel but during our stay we experieced a blackout and it was a very hot night and the rooms don't have ceiling fans. We couldn't sleep well that night. And the single bed in the triple room was very hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice grounds and good service. Stayed in Jr Suite 2 which is spacious and has outdoor and indoor showers. Bed was comfortable and bedding was luxurious.
