Pros: Room was very comfortable, although dated. Big bedroom and living area, including kitchen.
Cons: Access for a person in a wheelchair was almost impossible. The ramp to the front door is much steeper than ADA would permit. Elevators were too small.

Cons: Restaurant service is slow, which was not a problem when catching up with good friends but it was noticeable. Walls between rooms were thin. We could clearly hear everything in the room next to us.

Cons: We were up charged 100 bucks for an otherwise 20 dollar bottle of la crema Pinot noir, which is simply outrageous. Also the coasters that the glasses were on had obviously not been changed for some time. The room was otherwise beautiful and location was great. The elevators however are tiny and my wife and I had to carry our 6 month old and his stroller up about 14-16 steps to access the connected City Circle Mall.

Cons: We left with what appeared to be some sort of bites. After some investigation, we discovered they were bed bug bites. And they turned into very itchy and painful sores. More developed in the next couple of days. We did call so they could exterminate the bed. Frank said he would comp the room. We never asked for it but why say it if you aren't going to do it.

Cons: Need to clarify/refine misleading description of Green program . Card for hanging on doorknob says I would not have full housekeeping service. I thought that meant I would not receive fresh linens; would use the entire supply of towels (5) before resupply; and would pick up after myself. In practice, the card means no one will enter my room...a kind of permanent Do Not Disturb. No resupply of coffee. No emptying waste baskets. SOLUTION : Green program should have partial housekeeping . Save us all cost of needless laundering of towels and sheets, etc. but routinely resupply coffee and empty trash.

The Staff was attentive & courteous. I actually wish we could have stayed longer to see some of the cities history and sights.

Cons: We were given the keys to an occupied room, which turned out to be an NFL player, then left in the hallway for an hour while the hotel tried to figure out where to put us. They told us the hotel was empty from New Year's Eve the night before but seemed to have booked the only two customers to the same suite! No apologies whatsoever from the manager of the hotel after the hour and a half inconvenience of looking at three rooms before finally getting to what we paid for. We were given a credit to the hotel restaurant and when we tried to use it the bartender told us to pay the tab and the front desk would reimburse us the next day. Thought it was weird but had somewhere to be so I paid the tab. Needless to say, we didn't get a dime back of the "credit" we were supposed to receive, instead we spent $70 on a restaurant we weren't planning to go to. The customer service we experienced for a Westin was unbelievable and they did nothing to make up for all the issues. Will never stay here again.

Pros: I've stayed in downtown Indy quite a bit, and the Westin is by far my favorite of the nice hotels I've stayed at. They consistently do things better than other hotels, and I am often caught off guard by all the little amenities they offer.
Cons: I couldn't find the pool. There's no clear indication/direction. If you've stayed at this Westin, you know what I'm talking about.

This took away from my quiet enjoyment. So after they couldn't seem to quite them down I complained. However they did not leave until I left. Plus it was a Sunday morning. Cons: The evening before checkout, I decided to go through all of my accounts and count my money (as I do every evening before going to bed). When I checked the account linked to the debit card that was used to book my room, I noticed several hundred dollars worth of charges (one of which was exactly $300 even). Altogether, I was charged approximately $800 more than what the room costs for the weekend. Such a minuscule theft for the amount of business they've now lost-all of my employees are strictly forbidden to stay at any Westin hotel for as long as I live and my friends/family members will be strongly encouraged to stay elsewhere as well.

Cons: air conditioning system wasn't working correctly while we were there. Took two calls down to get someone to come look at it. When they did come up, the fix was to run it down to 65 degrees on the thermostat to get it to cool. The system kept kicking on and off keeping my wife awake. I fixed that by turning the fan on continuous. I think they were having climate control issues all weekend. They gave us a free movie to make up for it though.

Cons: the renovation finishes we not up to par, everything was sloppily done. our roon overlooked a nasty rooftop. we had to pay an additional $30 to park our own car on the premises after the room was over $150. Pros: Though this is definitely a "bare-minimum" hotel in an older building, I could not have been happier with my stay. I was staying in town for a funeral and had to find a place on short notice and, because I was traveling alone, I wanted to stay at a hotel with interior doors to the room. When I arrived I was leery of the old building, but the staff is was incredibly friendly and interacted pleasantly with everyone. There were lots of people there, most of whom seemed to be on short trips. The same two people were at the front the entire time I was there, and when I checked in I was asked why I was traveling. I mentioned that I was in town for a funeral. When I checked out the manager remembered this and asked who I had lost and if I was okay. Overall I was pleasantly surprised, and I would recommend for short stays.

Cons: There were young black adults hanging out in the parking lot with the music blaring. I asked the attendant in the hotel about it and he said that its normal on weekends because of the colleges in the area. I would never have let my wife and kids stay there because of that!

Pros: The Guys at the front desk were so helpful. The breakfast was great every day and Cindy was always on point with refills and a smile. The hotel is really nicely appointed and we had a great long stay.
Cons: Fitness room is not in service right now. But Manager Mike said that he's getting it fixed!

Cons: The hotel overall felt very dirty, there was some sort of what looked like a blood splatter on our ceiling. The hallways had a lot of stains in them and the chlorine smell from the pool was so overwhelming we stayed on the 3rd floor and could smell the chlorine all the way up there. Would not return to this hotel next time I am in Indianapolis.

Pros: Location to the freeway and restaurants was good. Breakfast was okay, but by the fourth day the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy began tasting a little stale. I'm not sure these were necessarily fresh daily. Eggs and sausage was good, cereal but no fresh fruit, and little variety. Not the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had though.
Cons: Uncontrolled level of noise created by inconsiderate guests. The hotel management did nothing to mitigate this, I was there for work and had three very poor nights of sleep as a result. If I had the ability I would've moved to a different hotel.

Cons: They gave me a dirty room at 1st, Then had to carry bags upstairs to a dirty room then take them back down to the car move to a different building carry bags back upstairs. Roomwas hot like 85 degrees bed was uncomfortable old and worn out!! Was not worth the money I paid!!!

Cons: We had a four night reservation but decided to leave after one night. There were three of us in the room with two dogs and the room was so small we didn't have room for any luggage. The room smelled like stale cigarettes. We didn't have hot water due to some water line break in the AC unit have a thick layer of dust built up inside. The beds were also very uncomfortable. We chose another nearby pet friendly hotel to move to with much nicer rooms for about the same price. I think I'm done with Red Roof Inns.

Cons: We booked a room for a leisure trip weekend. The hotel was dirty, the staff rude, the continental breakfast was terrible, very crowded and very limited on food. Also we had an old blood stain on the linens which was also on the mattress pad, so I'm guessing they were never changed from the previous guests. I called and asked for the linens to be changed and about the blood stains, we left for the day, upon our return we found sheets on the table and the blood stained sheets still on our bed. Also, the noise level at night was very loud. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone, definitely not worth the $162 we spent for 2 nights.
