Both Hertz check-out and return (check-in) staff were a tad grumpy / diffident. Facility was cramped, difficult to find / get to, dirty. Check-in (return) process poorly explained. Though the 'Price' was the decider, that this pick-up location was NOT at the airport wasn't well advertised.Reviewed 6 Mar 2023

When I got there, I had ordered a midsize like a Mazda. All they had available was a minivan (which I'll never drive), a Tesla (cars that catch on fire, self driving -yuck, and Elon Musk, so no thanks), and an Escalade (a kind of huge Trump mobile that will destroy the planet), so no, no, and no. Thankfully, the lady went to the back and found newly cleaned Kia that did the trick. All of the people were helpful, and it was super easy to get in and out. I've gotten cars at this location about five times, and they are always good.Reviewed 7 Feb 2023

I like the pick up it was good, even that we have to ask many questions regarding the process. Improvement: Better information to the customer 1. We drop off around 5am in the morning and we have to figure it out how we go in into the parking building , how and where to left the keys, even though we asked the procedure. More caring with the customers 2. We called 1 day before to drop off if we can returning the car at the airport, however they said yes but paying $112,00, because of my work I have to travel frequently and never happen this amount of cost and most of the time it has no costReviewed 9 Jan 2023

When I arrived, the car I booked was not allowed to be received with the card I had paid with. Extreme rules that you can only rent with a debit card if you return to the same location and have an outbound flight ticket. But I booked a one way rental Boston to Albany, with a train ticket home. Shouldn't be allowed to rent with a card I won't be able to complete the trip with. Or needs to be EXTREMELY indicated. Very disruptive and disappointing part of the trip, I won't feel confident renting on Kayak again.Reviewed 6 Nov 2022
