The whole transaction from pick up to drop off was simple and quick. I did some research on one way car rentals from Boston to San Francisco. KAYAK was anywhere from $400-1000 cheaper. At the last minute on Thanksgiving Day, when another car rental company left us stranded (despite our reservation) the Enterprise desk at Logan Airport, Boston, came through for us. They were friendly and efficient. At first they told me their cars could not be rented for one-way dropoff, but when I made a reservation through Kayak (while standing in their line!) they agreed to honor it. On returning the car in Portland, ME, the office was also very accommodating - changing our return location from the city office to the airport with no fuss, in order to make it possible for us to return at an early hour. The process to pick up/drop off the car was easy and smooth! The car we received was functionally fine and drove well, but there were minor outer dents and the front bumper slightly poking out that were somewhat minuses/concerning a bit. The main concern and issue I had was that I bought collision insurance via the 3rd party platform with Kayak to rent a car from Enterprise; however when I met up with the Enterprise rep, they told me the collision insurance I bought didn't transfer over so they had to confirm with me before giving me the insurance on their end. That was the only concern I experienced so I hope for those purchasing insurance via Kayak will be able to get it from the actual car vendor too.Reviewed 8 Nov 2022

It was convenient. I was told that we would be picked up, just call. Called the 800 number was told to hold for a minute was on over 45 minutes, had my husband call the local they never answered. Gave up on the 45 minute hold. Took a taxi when we got there was told they don't pick up on weekends. I had called before I left for the trip and specifically told them where I would be and the day and was told no problem. They did make an adjustment for part of the taxi fare. Return was pretty easy. But the girl didn't know the number you had to call for the shuttle. Fortunately we hit a very nice lady who helped us out.Reviewed 16 Oct 2022
