Pros: Reasonably well located to most sites. Very nice bar for pre-dinner drinks ( especially Daniel). The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The housekeeping staff was wonderful
Cons: It was likely worthy of a 4 star stays in the past but it is ‘tired’. Chairs in (a very nice sized room) were stained and partially frayed. The closet doors at the entrance were damaged from the room door opening. It was clean but not immaculate. Looks Like it needs a good painting.

Pros: Good location within walking distance of most major attractions.
Cons: The air conditioning in the rooms only works from May - sometime in the fall. So even though it was 30 degrees C outside in April, the rooms couldn't be cooled off without opening the windows. However the street noise makes it difficult to sleep with the windows open. Hotel mgmt said there was nothing they could do about this. We were told "it's winter....". I just find it strange that the lobby was air conditioned & cool, but the rooms couldn't be. Also if you're bringing a car please note the parking garage is a very tight fit.

Pros: Great hotel to use as a base for a trip to Granada. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of the old town area and there are lots of restaurants and tapas bars nearby. We also spent some time in the hotel spa - this was very good value. We had some time in the spa combined with a massage and found it to be very reasonable and an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen with an excellent choice of foods to suit all tastes.

Cons: The rooms were a bit noisy. You can hear traffic and people in the corridors.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location was good. We arrived on Christmas day for a one night stay. At first we were given a room that stank of sewage. The receptionist, though very moody, politely sorted out a better smelling room.
Cons: The hotel shouldn't be classed as a 4*, it's more like a 3*. There was no attention to details in the rooms for a 4*, the TV was fixed in a far corner of a wall and severely wonky. We booked half board as we weren't sure if restaurants would be open on Xmas day (they were btw). But the buffet dinner that was served was absolutely atrocious, bland, cold, out of tins, disgusting food. To the point, where we had a mouthful and left to find something else, anything else! we paid around €50 extra for the half board which was a total waste of money. I will not be returning, I highly recommend hotel Luna de Granada which is just a few minutes from this hotel.

Pros: The location of the hotel is very close to the mid-town area. A casual walk of about 20 minutes will get you there. My wife and I took of taxi to the Alhambra because it is about 45 minutes and up a steep hill to get the palace area. The taxi cost me 12 euros and since it was early Sunday morning was about 15 minutes. As for the hotel, I give it good grades for everything. Staff, housekeeping, room, breakfast, and check in were all very good.

Pros: Loccation
Cons: The staff in the kitchen was really rude. The lady refused to give me just hot water, although dinner was served at the time and active. They were not helpful (except for those at the reception). Behind the hotel there is a low cost pub, which was active until after the midnight, if you want to go for business, you will not be able to sleep because of the noise outside the hotel and inside very early in the morning. Poor!!

Cons: The only thing that was confusing is that if you have a car, you must travel a few minutes to the hotels parking in a private underground lot. The fee is 10 Euro a day and is a very secure and good parking lot. The hotel is in an area that has very small, tight streets. Very European, if you know what I mean. If that is not good for your driving skills or blood pressure, then please try other mode of transportation. Not much parking on the city streets.

Pros: Staff was very nice. We were allowed to park the car half an hour before the check-in time. At that time, the receptionist gave us a city map and explained us the main tourist places and where to get the bus. Cons: You could hear people talking louldly in the next room or in the corridor outside. Also, there was no rubbish bin in the room and no toilet brush in the bathroom. In addition, there is no elevator, although not necessarily a big issue, since there is only one floor. However, if you have to carry a lot of luggage, it might be a problem. Finally, access to the garage is through a very narrow spiral staircase, not at all convenient when carrying a big suitcase.
