Pros: We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very innovative with electronic check-in and room controls. We loved the shower! The food was delicious and staff were friendly and courteous. We like how the various spaces for relaxing, reading, meeting, and computer use sort of `unfolded' as we explored the first two floors of the hotel.

Pros: Staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Bedrooms were small but perfectly sized for our needs. Bed was very comfortable. In room technology was quirky and fun. Bar - cafe - canteen was modern and exciting, with a well curated bar selection and good food. Good views from 6th floor and up.
Despite the bar being busy well into the night, we were not disturbed in our room by noise or light pollution.

Cons: Difficulty in dropping off bags - no apparent place to stop car for that purpose. Parking was a bit far but ok.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the room was clean and fine for one person
Cons: Wakened at 4am by other guests on the 6th floor and had to call in a complaint. Didn't sleep again which wasn't ideal as I was down in Glasgow for a business meeting the whole of Monday and felt really tierd. Not impressed!

Pros: Different
Cons: Prices
Cold hot breakfast
Tablet that operated everything didn't work- staff members admitted that wi-fi was poor.
Aspirational but failing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Functionality of the cool room from the iPad. Cool, creative extras like the pillows etc
Cons: The sound of the air con was a little louder than I would expect. The self service staff were more a hinderance than a help and their customer service did not seem authentic

Despite the bar being busy well into the night, we were not disturbed in our room by noise or light pollution.
Cons: There did not appear to be a gym or fitness area.
This probably not a good hotel for families with young children.

Pros: The hotel is very new and fresh and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: I don't think the heating system is up to scratch for a Scottish winter. I realise that it saves the environment not heating an empty room but when the tempreture outdoors is minus something the heating should be capable of warming the room quickly to a comfortable temperature unfortunately it wasn't. It was just eating up nicely when we went out for dinner and of course when we returned we were back to square one! Also the room walls and windows aren't as efficient as they should be at keeping out the noise of the city. The corridors don't seem to be cleaned on a regular basis whereas the bedroom was spotless.

Pros: Great amenities and customer service. Very comfortable room. Good location in Glasgow with a quick walk to Argyle Street. Had everything I expected in a hotel.
Cons: The only issue we ran into was that our room key was de-activated a day earlier than our reservation ended, so we needed to return to the lobby for the help. The people at the desk were very accommodating and quick to fix it, so that was great.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: View
Cons: Too far out of the city centre
6.7 Good
Pros: The location because we were going to the hydro
Cons: Very cold in bar area, every time main door opened cold draft was blowing in. Took a long time to check in, stood for 20 minutes in a queue with our luggage, staff said the computer system was slow!! After show at the hydro returned to hotel to hopefully have a drink in lounge area but was very busy so no seats available as tables were set for breakfast. Also very busy at bar with not many staff on si gave up & went to bed.

Pros:
Cons: We arranged this trip as a treat for my mums 70th birthday and to say I am disappointed is an understatement. The room she was given had no heating and was absolutely freezing. They gave her a tiny heater which made no impact to the temperature of the room. Her and her friend slept with their coats on. They also ordered room service that night which took an hour to arrive and was of a very low standard. They suspected the soup was just packet soup. Not what you’d expect when paying this kind of money for a room. Also, she left her dress and coat in the room by accident and they are charging £30 to send it to her. Absolutely gutted that this spoiled my mums birthday.

Pros:
Cons: Noise from disco below us on first night was loud but on the second night there was a band and it was so so loud. Don’t understand how they can rent out rooms knowing it is so noisy. They couldnt move rooms so eventually we had to moved hotels in the middle of the night. Not a good experience. Would definitely not recommend

Pros: You always get a warm friendly welcome. However, it’s all looking a little tired. The King Executive Suite was nice but a bit dated and it’s a bit awkward trying to get onto balcony and back in, an extra step would of been useful and there is not lighting on the balcony either. Quilt was thin, so we were quite cold and didn’t sleep too great. Food and staff were excellent in the Executive Lounge, but again, it’s very tired looking. Stains on chairs and all woodwork was chipped, not what you’d expect from Hilton! I believe it’s getting a make over soon, which is needed. Would stay again but maybe at a reduced rate due to the tired facilities. I had a lovely chocolate surprise for my birthday which was very much appreciated.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly reception staff.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The building was beautiful inside. The rooms are large and the beds are comfy. The bathroom is roomy although the bathroom did not have a large deep tub. The bar was alright and reasonably priced. There are three lifts, so the wait to get one was not long. There is a designated smoking area, away from the wind and rain. 24hr desk service and the lobby was very well decorated with television sets as well.
Cons: Being an American, I was unfamiliar with the....put your key in the box to make the electricity work...probably would relay to staff to make that clear to anyone who checks in. If your credit card isn't registered at the desk, forget about room service, just prepare yourself to go down to the bar to get anything ordered up...this would have been helpful information to know beforehand. There is a walk to get to the city center. Also a bar across the street where I witnessed an assault happen while I was out smoking a cigarette. No one seemed to be bothered by this in the slightest, but it made me leery of leaving the hotel at night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff were excellent, rooms were spacious & comfortable
Cons: Breakfast was ok, for a 4 star rating the breakfast was poor. Prior to arrival I contacted the hotel & requested a assessable room with twin beds. I was told that my room would be suitable for an elderly person with a walk in shower and hand grips in the bathroom. Unfortunately my request was not passed on as promised. Upon arrival the receptionist had no idea what my request was (this was not her fault as she was not informed as promised), but thankfully she sorted the issue & all was resolved.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and rate
Cons: Could hear the trains
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Laura on front desk was amazing .Very clean, nice breakfast, good location . Parking was easy at a multi park very close
Cons:
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful. The room was good.Breakfast was good.
Cons: We had a problem with checking in,but it was a very efficient member of staff which helped to put it right. The kettle in the room was faulty ,which was a very unpleasant taste to the water. The reception quickly replaced the kettle ,which was good service.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Close to the train station and not a far walk from some busy shopping streets. They validate parking
Cons: Room/ water had a smell of sulfur. The couch in the room had a visible white stain.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, river view room and we received a complimentary upgrade as it was my husband’s 30th birthday!
Cons: Nothing it was lovely
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My room had everything I needed. Location was pretty good and quite central. Clean and friendly, Nice Christmas atmosphere.
Cons: My room was very cold which I understood as it was -6 outside, but they did rectify it quickly by putting extra heaters in it. So was happy enough.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Located within walking of train station. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast is not included in Odom rate but well worth paying for.
Cons: Thin walls. Could hear people in the next room. She was quite loud

Pros: Staff - all we're excellent and very keen to help.
Cons: The only thing was the view from the room, a demolition site, but this is very minor, it did not affect my enjoyment.
7.0 Good
Pros: The bathroom was nice and breakfast and dining area, staff were also great
Cons: The room felt quite dated, and decor wasnt as nice as I expected. The sauna and steam room were very small and disappointing. The duvet was also very thin.
7.0 Good
Pros: Fair price and good central location.
Cons: The usual, guests smoking close to the doorway and not always using the disposal bin provided Some sort of canopied area further from the main entrance would be preferable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, roomy, great staff and good location.
Cons:
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful.
Cons: The decor of the room was very dated. Most of the room was a very uninspiring beige colour. There were no plug sockets near the bed. They were all at the other side of the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff and location were excellent.
Cons:
4.0 Okay
Pros: The lobby is nice and modern and the staff were friendly/helpful. Appreciated the free WiFi.
Cons: The room felt like a nice hostel, not a 4 star hotel. This location is 2 blocks from the nightclub scene so it was very loud with people shouting on the streets and cars revving their engines. The water closet was very plain and the toilet paper quality poor. There is no pool/whirlpool/jacuzzi. We booked this room at a discount rate, thankfully. Had I paid full price, I would not have been happy with the full-rate and the quality of hotel. This is more like a 2 star hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly helpful and kind reception staff. Very clean hotel, great breakfast, good position the hotel is a short walking distance from the city center, bus/train station and subway. Very appreciated more pillows supply in the room.
Cons: Water falls on the floor while having a shower, the water from the washbasin smells bad and as far as we are concerned the room wasn't warm enough. One of the bedside lamps doesn't work. There aren't electric plugs near the bed or near the desk. In the breakfast room a couple of waitresses cleaned the tables but not the chairs and they were very unfrendly.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was modern and very clean. Staff were also very friendly.
Cons: Gym facilities were advertised but no weights section existed. As such I was disappointed to not be able to do a workout as planned.
It would be useful to clarify this on the website I.e. Call it a cardio gym.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, breakfast enjoyable.
Cons: Stayed in family room with pull down sofa bed. Bed was already pulled down on arrival. On folding up bed on Saturday night to make more room a massive wee stain was clearly visible on bottom of mattress, luckily the mattress had a protector on the top. 24hr service bar was not clearly explained on check in. Tried to order just after 12 midnight and was told to go downstairs to register a credit card (ordering room service is to safe you going downstairs).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well run, clean, modern, well located.
Cons: No issues.

Cons: The shower water didn't go hot enough.

Pros: Fluffy towels, big soft pillows & comfy bed. Big T.V screen
Cons: Room very cold. No where to sit and apply make up and do hair. Very bad lighting in room. Not enough bar staff on duty in the lounge and they also were not very friendly compared to your breakfast staff who deserve 5*

Cons:

Pros: Comfy beds and clean linen. Quite rooms. Food was good!
Cons: There was no where easy to sit down and do your make up in the bedroom. There was a desk with a chair, but no mirror behind it. There was a mirror in the bathroom with good lighting but you dont always want to stand to do hair and make up. Theres a full legth mirror but no good lighting by it.

5.8 Okay
Pros: ThE bed was really comfortable. The breakfast food was very tasty.
Cons: The room decor was really outdated. Awful carpet, curtains. The furniture was used and scuffed. The whole room just seemed tired and needed a refurb. The bathroom was adequate but could of done with a new shower head. The size of the breakfast room was not adequate for the amount of guest wanting to eat which meant long queue and food running out regularly.

Cons: coffee even a vending machine, just cos bar turned machine off, but rest was fine

Pros: Staff was great. The room was okay. The company was good.
Cons: The showers had almost no pressure but still doable. Just factor in extra time for slow flowing water.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location is great. Easy check in. Staff was friendly during my check in.
Cons: The staff during my check out in the morning was extremely rude and disrespectful. The mattress was terrible, could not sleep properly. I had no clean pillow and duvet on my bed, had to get random ones from the room. I would NOT recommend this place. Even though its cheap and I needed a place at the last minute, would not stay again at all.
4.0 Okay
Pros: There is a wireless charger and light for each bed and they are also around the bar. The Canadian girl in the bar was really polite and nice to talk to!
Cons: The mattress was extremely bad. It seemed old and I could feel the springs on my body while sleeping. It didn't have any mattress protector (as in many other places) to avoid bugs or stains from previous guests. Having a hostel that has bad mattress seems like a joke, you are literally paying to SLEEP somewhere and you cannot even get a good sleep. The room and bathroom were dirty, I found an old grape next to my bed which was disgusting. There was a dispenser for shower gel in the shower, but it was empty. Also, next to the sinks I am sure there still is a pint with a little bit of beer which was there for my whole stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location couldnt be more central, the staff are very nice and rooms are as good as you can expect. There’s a bar downstairs which serves breakfast too. I stayed at a private room which was amazing for the money I paid. Everything you’d expect in a Hotel room at third of the price.
Cons: It’s very noisy with the traffic and trains as well as loud guests in the corridors. I didn’t mind but don’t go if you’re a light sleeper.
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: The rooms are clean and tidy, I can't complain about that.
Cons: The bathroom light in the shower is motion sensing, but it doesn't sense your motion in the shower. So the lights turn off on you about every 2 minutes and you have to get out in the dark and make motion. Not the safest. Also the shower drained poorly so it would overflow if I didn't shut off the water. I actually had to switch rooms when I first got there. The first room had mosquitoes, and smelled musty. The place was cheap, but maybe too cheap.
6.8 Good
Pros: the beds were comfy enough, checking in and out was very quick, there's a bar conveniently on the first floor, and pretty close to city center and the train stations
Cons: the sinks were separate from the toilets, and situated so that if you turned the light on it would wake everyone up, breakfast was expensive and very limited, didn't have soy milk
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms are very modern and good location.
Cons: Floor was very dusty in room.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Good rooms. Some nice staff. Beautiful and friendly girls cleaning.
Cons: Bad energy, disgusting kitchen, thieves, junkies, depressive ambient, problematic guests. A Rude guy at the reception that fortunately appears just during week ends. Rest of the staff nice but incompetent. Stingy owners, you ll have to pay for anything. If you put your food in the fridge it will always disappear. For long term is a nightmare. Just for one night
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Building constructiion
Cons: Increased rate on Saturday
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, Friendly. African staff very kind
Cons: Price goes up on saturday.
5.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Bedroom door did not lock when leaving so could be opened anytime by anyone. Bins had not been emptied and toilet was dirty.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Rooms are new, good beds
Cons: Beware of this place. Not clean, not safe, 100% stingy. If you are so crazy too book here, always ask for the invoice. Could happens your payment does not result, because mayor of staff is incompetent or maybe not honest, who knows. For sure is not a friendly accomodation.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Almost nothing.
Cons: Terrific place, i have lost money or stuff every time i booked. Any kind of desperate can check in. Even forks are stolen all the time, your food will be stolen, also you will feel a strong bleach or other chemicals smell but does not mean that is clean. Normally hostel have a good vibration but not this one. I have been living for many weeks. Only you will lose here. Atmosphere looks like at a witched place. I ll never come back.

4.0 Okay
Pros: reception staff where friendly. especially the night before when I checked up on my booking.
Cons: Towels where thoroughly poor. Badly damaged, seams torn just a mess. The entry was dirty, the room smelled unclean. the covers where stained, there was a large hole in mattress cover. The bathroom shower / wet cell was useless the plug under shower had hair blocking it. The plug top was loose. I had tighten and clean out the trap a little, hardly any toilet roll and poor quality at that. Room was unfeasibly small. Lift was a mess. Just really poor

1.0 Poor
Pros: To small and toilet very small . Bed to small can’t even move for2 people. Have to pay extra WiFi also room very cold . Will not come back again
Cons: Cold room (Glasgow maybe invest in central heating) Felt damp Shower and toilet combo was smaller than the virgin trains toilet we traveled on
6.8 Good
Pros: Comfy bed, very quiet at night, 2min walking distance from Sauchiehall street, Buchanan street
Cons: Room facilities: bathroom inconvenient, no storage room
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: There was mould in our extractor fan which stunk the room out.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The price was what we were looking for.
Cons: The rooms were extremely small, almost claustrophobic. You needed to pay for every single additional item that you wanted. Pay extra for the remote, WIFI, towels, and even for your room to be cleaned. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and I was afraid to even sleep in it because of the just general uncleanliness I felt in the room. This room is only suitable for younger couples or singletons with minimal luggage/baggage.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I like it but it’s alright for me.
Cons: I ain’t happy with the housekeeping not clean the room while me and my partner are out until later and got in the room and the room is not cleaning. Not happy with it. Also tv remote is rip off!! Only £5... that’s not good tho. Just saying
2.9 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: i really did not like it here. check in was okay but i’d say a bit steep charging £10 extra for early check in especially when we had a sink that didn’t drain, a toilet that wouldn’t flush, a shower that kept dripping despite neither me or my girlfriend using it, the room was absolutely freezing and neither of us had any idea how to make it warmer. the door for our bathroom was broken, looked like someone was trapped and had to hatchet their way out. i have told everyone i know travelling to glasgow to not book here absolutely horrible and the cheek to charge £50 a night.
7.7 Good
Pros: Simply furnished rooms, very comfortable bed and that’s good because that’s basically all there was in the room. But can’t be beaten on price.
Cons: Would have liked a bedside table.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice & clean, heated to a comfortable temperature, hot shower, really handy location near to the station, friendly staff who can organise your taxi easily
Cons: The shower cubicle is rather small, so the curtain sticks to you!
6.0 Good
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: Not much space in the rooms ! Need more hanging hooks etc
