Cons: The rooms were what I would expect for a hotel of this calipher. However, common areas such as the lobby were small and became crowded with guests checking in and out. I was disapointed with the level of service from the staff. I had a maid wake me up on a Saturday morning before 8 AM wanting to clean my room. I wasn't even checking out that day. It took a number of staff levels and a fair amount of my time to get that situation resolved to my satifaction.

Cons: The only thing that was a bit odd was that the restrooms have only large floating glass doors which don't fully close or lock in any way, so... Let's just say you hear absolutely everything from the toilet in the entire room.

Cons: The hairdryer is hidden in one of the night stand besides the bed, resulting from the fact that there is no room to store or place any thing in the bathroom. The rooms are small and such that you only want to use them for sleeping. The gym is uninviting - tiny and poorly equipped.

Cons: The staff kept hounding me for my "voucher." I explained that I booked through Kayak and there was no voucher. I showed them my receipt, emailed them the receipt twice and printed the receipt out and gave it to Laura on the second night of the stay. Then, when I check out, they ask me for the voucher again! I get back to the U.S. and get an email from them...wanting the voucher. I expect that they'll charge me twice for the room and I'll have to do a charge back through my credit card. The beds are not fit for human consumption. P.S. a "double" room does not mean two beds - it means that you get a room that does not have the toilet and shower completely open!? They charged us 40 euro/night for a roll-away.

Cons: As I mentioned, it is in an area that is full of drug addicts, however, as it is close to the main train station, most of the other hostels are also in this area, and they secure the doors.

Cons: Our reservation was not honored. Members of our group who arrived earlier were given 2 rooms when the Memphis Hotel didn't have any double rooms. We walked our bags about a mile to another hotel. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this place to anyone. Be forewarned..... a "reservation" doesn't mean a darn thing to Memphis Hotel.

Cons: It was a particularly hot spring week and there wasn't air-conditioning in the room, so it was quite warm. Thank God there was a fan, so it was bearable. It's a little noisy as we had a street-facing room, but it wasn't too bad as we're used to living in big cities. The windows are good and does filter out quite a lot of noise. We both slept well.

Cons: There were no extra amenities like hot water/coffee maker or travel soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The bathroom did have soap dispensers.

Cons: It's was very hot , actually very hot ( sauna) room I'm not sure if I'm gonna take a room there again! The service and reception was Ok not good not bad!!
