Our host (Brian) was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Communication prior to our arrival was exceptional. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances our host was unable to meet us on arrival. It is to their credit, that in difficult circumstances, they were able to give us all the information we needed to gain access to the property. The period decor within the property was carefully and tastefully done and our family room was spacious and clean.
Sadly, a single radiator within such a spacious room did struggle to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. I'm afraid the mattress on the double bed has seen better days with a significant depression making the springs felt when lying down.
Staff were gentle and nice
