Pros: The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. It's a challenging time for their business but they did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Dining & bar staff. Facilities & relaxation factor.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff. Good breakfast and excellent bar meal.
Cons: Had a top floor room with a nice view but it was accessed by rather a lot of stairs. No lift available. Room was comfortable though decor a bit dated.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and the welcome was warm and friendly. We enjoyed a really nice dinner on slates, we would have preferred plates, but that’s just our preference.
Cons: We were in the bar after dinner and my husband got a bit wet when there was a leak from the ceiling above, however light was made of this when we mentioned it at reception the next morning. Breakfast was included and was served between 7 30am and 9 30 am. We arrived just after 9am and were still waiting after 10am for our cooked breakfast. Unfortunately the cooked part was pretty bad, I could have sold my shoes with that part. Quite a number of people complained, but again light was made of it. There are nice log fires in the hotel but unfortunately they are not kept well stoked and the public areas are quite chilly, it is Scotland .

Pros: Much quieter than the hydro
Cons: Nothing

Plenty of great walks and loads of great places to visit all within driving distance. The food was delicious and caters for every taste. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the little lodge that was very well equipped and very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back in the future

Pros: Lovely room with great views
Cons: Dinner was very expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, stunning views, very tasty food, and brilliant service, staff could not do enough for us and they do work long hours to please. Room was warm clean and everything we could possibly need for our stay. Could not fault our two night stay.
Cons: Find it difficult to say anything negative.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: All food and wine was very good quality. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable, though the bedding was of a strange material that became very clammy during the night.
Cons: The comfortable seating in the lounge needs to be better arranged, because it seemed to be too easy for a few people effectively to monopolise it. At least half the lounge was set out as a dining area, though not used a such during our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is amazing, from the staff, the food, the views out to the Loch and the hills, the decor, all the extra little touches in the room- - I thoroughly recommend it and will go back. I didn't have the evening meal, just a very tasty snack and drink as I'd already eaten, but the food looks really 1st class. The breakfast was the best I've had in a long time, if not the best ever - fresh oj, muesli with fruit and yoghurt, a wonderful fry up followed by home made bread and jam. It couldn't have been better for me.
Cons: It was perfect
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely room with a large bed and loch-side view. The rooms have Sky TV and Alexa as well as fast internet which was a really nice bonus, along with a decent coffee machine and tea making facilities. The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was excellent. Having a decent restaurant on site was also very handy.
Cons: The breakfast portion was small, but delicious nonetheless.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Friendly staff and nice view.
Cons: Hotel was cold apart from the bedroom. Bathroom looks like something out of a care home. Evening meal was cold. Dessert wasn't what it said in the menu. Full cooked Breakfast was cold. Pros: Very friendly and helpful owner.
Cons: Breakfast is rather disappointing. A little toast, no fresh jams or marmelade. No fresh juice. Not enough cups on the table.
6.7 Good
Pros: Bed was very comfy and host was lovely.
Cons: Very cheap and scratchy towels that were tiny. The breakfast was so basic we went out both days. There was no shower in our en-suite, just a very dated bath, with very tatty bath mat that looked older than me. I think they shouldn’t really call it a bed and breakfast as the breakfast was so poor. A guest house yes.

Pros: Food was great, we had an amazing dinner. Breakfast was cooked to order and exactly what we needed. Bar area had a very nice ambiance with open fire and rustic surroundings. Rooms were spacious and nice bathrooms. Very friendly and chatty staff. Nothing was too much for them.
Cons: Room was too warm at night even after turning off all radiators, possibly due to being on top floor and getting heat from rooms below. Wouldn't have opened windows had it not been for a storm outside. Many people will love that warmth though! Certainly not a reason not to book a stay here.

Pros: Spent the weekend here with friends. The hotel is located on the banks of Loch Earn and the views are stunning. Plenty of great walks and loads of great places to visit all within driving distance. The food was delicious and caters for every taste. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the little lodge that was very well equipped and very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back in the future

Pros: Fantastic location, stunning views, very tasty food, and brilliant service, staff could not do enough for us and they do work long hours to please. Room was warm clean and everything we could possibly need for our stay. Could not fault our two night stay.
Cons: Find it difficult to say anything negative.

Pros: We had a lovely room with a large bed and loch-side view. The rooms have Sky TV and Alexa as well as fast internet which was a really nice bonus, along with a decent coffee machine and tea making facilities. The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was excellent. Having a decent restaurant on site was also very handy.
Cons: The breakfast portion was small, but delicious nonetheless.

Pros: Lovely couple, great breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good amenities in location. Great pub food next door but 2. Need to book though at weekends.
Cons: Heating wasnt available to dry clothing. Was too late to speak to anyone by the time we got in. Could have left note in room to say about drying clothes due to raining that day.
