One of the best hotels in Chicago. Ideal location to everything in the city, wonderful staff and service, Roof Top Bar is excellent. Overall best hotel experience I've had in Chicago.
Extremely convenient for getting to the Chicago Theatre.
The fridge didn't work so the brought up a dented scratched fridge and set it in the middle of the room. The room was not clean. No hospitality. Way over priced!!!!
beautiful room, great amenities, very clean and modern
some confusion at the front desk when checking in but it seemed to only be us
great location, service, & facility
Rooms were big and spacious, on state street and walking distance to Michigan Avenue and very popular for their restaurants.
Housekeeping were take time to clean the rooms, I would go out from morning and come back and the room was still not cleaned.
Quite pleasant and well situated.
The room was clean and interesting and the hotel well situated in the heart of things. Concierges were particularly accomodating. The rooftop lounge- to which guests get priority access seemed 'the' place to be at night
The business centre ( internet access and printers) was painfully frigid and the computers not user friendly.
I couldn't reccommend this hotel enough. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is cental to shops and restaurants, the hotel itself is very trendy while the rooms are very welcoming. And you get a warm cookie upon arrival - what more could you want!
The "nature" sounds that are piped into the corridors - nice touch, but they woke me every morning!
The room was very comfortable, pretty and sexy:) I loved the skybar, and the gym.
My only concern was the noise factor from the train and a clock that kept going off outside.
I took my wife to Chicago for her 30th birthday and after a thorough search I decided on the Wit for our hotel. What a great choice. From Hayley at the check-in counter to Li, the concierge, to Onni, the porter, everyone was fantastic, helpful, and willing to go out of their way to amke sure your stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was great, the bed was wonderful, the view was spectacular, and the location was the best thing of all. It could not have been a better location in the city of Chicago. Everything was within walking distance. I want to personally thank everybody that works there, and if we ever go to Chicago again, we will definitely stay at the Wit again.
The staff has always been very nice, polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is just great and the decoration is wonderful, offering an air of luxury and relaxation in the rooms, bars and lobby.
The air conditioning was rather loud and one might experience some noise problems because of the elevated metro lines running right next to it, especially if the room is on the side of Lake Street or in a lower floor.
Excellent facilities but even better staff - could not be more helpful.
Slightly limited menu in the restaurant but food very good.
