Pros:Other then is was close to the event that we worked I would have rather camped. This place needs a serious make over.
Cons:The towels were stained. There was no table or chair in our room. There was no coffee pot. There was no iron. There was no ironing board. The sheets were stained. There was no blow dryer. The breakfast area was dirty. The shower was dirty. The air conditioner leaked in the room. Upon booking I called to see if we could get 2 queen beds they assured me that all rooms had 2 queen beds they only had doubles which was not stated on my confirmation letter so that was a verbal lie. When I complained about all of this the man behind the counter stated that these amenities were in the King Suites and I stated to him then none of them should have been on my confirmation letter. Man behind the desk remained at the same demeanor and just said sorry. The pool was bone dry not a drop of water in it. I literally wish I had stayed where we were working in a tent for free there would have been more amenities.
Pros:It was open after driving 450 miles and had only 2 hours sleep the previous night
Cons:Entire building appears to need an overall. The lobby is by far the best building feature. The swimming pool next to the lobby is drained and either needs filling in or massive repairs. Overall outside was relatively clean but dingy and in need of general upkeep. The room was a decent size and the ac worked well. No bedpad on mattress two lamps didn't work. Cleaning of the room was halfhearted at best. A pillow on floor behind the bed, smeared scum in tub surround, just don't look in corners of room, best viewed with lights off. Door locks worked. This had apparently been part of another chain, needs a lot invested in it. Only $50 a night but I have had the same price at other Red Roof inns that we're much nicer.
