8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely nice and available, the convenience of the hotel location to the museum
Cons: For the price a small continental breakfast should be available along with the hot coffee and tea. Also, that is an extremely noisy intersection with ambulance and fire trucks every night at least 2x's a night(you cant control emergencies).the windows did not shut all the way down, maybe invest in some sound proof or buffer windows...also, one night I was awakened from the 7th flr from a homeless woman screaming at the top of her lungs around 4am on the corner..Ugh..this was a but disturbing...however, if I ever come back I would definitely book with you again..but with a room not facing the street
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great bed. Clean room. Great location. Great price.
Cons: Parking is expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was good, just few minutes from Union Station and 10 minutes to the Capitol. The staff was G R E A T, everything was clean, when we needed something it was done. Really good place if you are in Washington DC.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We liked that there was a restaurant in the hotel that served breakfast lunch and dinner. Made it easier to plan the day with out having to go far for food. We liked that it was very close to Union Station which made the walk from our train short. The water pressure is really great there and made for a really nice shower.
Cons: The pictures on the website made the rooms appear to be much larger than what they were. Between the small lobby, the tiny elevators, and the rooms that didn't have enough room to properly feel comfortable we felt a little claustrophobic. Spent $411 for two night stay in what we thought was going to be a bit more grand.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very poor, room has horrible view of buildings, facilities are very old
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent-across from Union Station & convenient to walk many places. Staff were very pleasant & helpful.
Cons: I thought the room was a little small & no coffee/tea maker for evenings.

6.8 Good
Pros: Very upscale looking hotel
Cons: The A/C was on blast. Too cold in the common public areas. Like arctic cold. Uncomfortable. Also the lighting in the room was totally insufficient. Very dim and dark. Opening the windows didn't help because we were in a room on the inside part of the hotel which faced the other wall of the building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly, professional staff. Room had been renovated 2 weeks ago - clean, comfy, stylish, extremely quiet. Great restaurant, attractive lobby, has a gym. Very well located. Parking reasonably priced for dc
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pillows were amazing heated floors were lovely And the scent in the lobby
Cons: Stains on headboards and throw pillows. Shower and toilet configuration odd. No refrigerator space
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great beds, bedding, white noise from fans, slept great despite busy urban street noise.
Cons: The shower was the worst, I'm so over these low-flow shower heads, the pressure seems to be getting worse and worse--even in high-end 4 & 5 star hotels. Small glass partition and no door on shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were incredibly helpful and courteous!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, especially at the door. Can't remember the young man's name but he was absolutely amazing. Extremely kind individual. I hope that he receives the recognition that he deserves...
Cons: The menu at The Pembroke. Even for a set menu that day, it needed way different options. There was nothing that I could order.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On my way to the hotel I received a call from the staff of the hotel who informed me my room was upgraded to a suite. This room was FANTASTIC -- great amenities, plenty of space, clean, and a terrific view of Dupont Circle and the National Cathedral that's a mile away. The best hotel experience in DC by far.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Staff very attentive.

7.0 Good
Pros: Location and rooftoop bar.
Cons: Sound of music travels thru elevator shaft and can be heard in rooms close to elevators at night.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location to national mall
Cons: Strange lightning in room. Automatic bathroom lights too bright. Had to call front desk to inquire about turning off bar lights before we could go to bed.
1.0 Poor
Pros: I felt like I was staying at a 3 star. The room was extremely dusty, they changed my reservation to a Queen bed. I was told when I called at 9 there would be no breakfast today. They charged my card for the stay PLUS a 200 incidentals. I was not satisfied
Cons: The location was great and the hotel atmosphere was very modern and eclectic. However, I will not stay there again.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location and willingness to meet my needs.
Cons: The bathroom had no door. Noise level of the lobby.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The room itself was nice and it is in a great location.
Cons: I was not informed at booking that construction would be ongoing during my stay. I was told at check in it would begin at 10 AM. It started well before. The rooftop bar and restaurant were the main reasons I chose this hotel and both were closed due to it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and great staff!
Cons: The spa was lackluster for the cost.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Came to town for my uncles funeral and to my surprise, the concierge, Jezebel, Googled a picture of my uncle, put it in a frame and added a hand written note, bottle of wine, fruit tray and rose centerpiece. Amazing! Alex in the lobby bar was outstanding, Ronnie meets you at the door with a contagious smile, and Marlin, Ernest and Lo give top notch service in POV. Stay her and experience all the staff has to offer - they are amazing!!
Cons: Nothing! Other than if I could have stayed longer...
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: I was disappointed since I paid more to have a room with a “spectacular” view (according to the site) and I got there I ended up on the 4th floor and had a view of the building next door. I called the front desk and they told me all they had available were rooms on the 10th floor, but that most people complain about the loud noise coming from the top floor where they have a club. I also thought the breakfast was included but what we got was actually a coupon for $18 to spend at the cherry restaurant which is pretty expensive. Don’t get me wrong, the food is really great but I thought they should make things more clear on their website. All in all I’d probably pick a different hotel when we go back to Washington.
7.0 Good

Cons: Expected room to be larger.

Pros: The staff was absolutely the best, warm, welcoming, service oriented without being too much. Everyone from the valet, to the bellman, to front desk, to housekeeping, to concierge to wait staff were a 10. All suck pleasant people! The hotel is beautiful, soft colors, clean and smells wonderful. There were violinists plaing in the lobby Sunday morning outside of the brunch. I asked the waitress who was lovely for if they have salsa, she said they didn't but let me see what I can do. So the chef chopped up and made some fresh for me. It was delicious. .My favorite hotel.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Great location and beautiful room

6.0 Good
Pros: Always a decent place to stay when we are in town visiting family.
Cons: My recent stay was a less positive experience than times I have stayed in the past. They were too short staffed. The poor woman running the front desk alone was also responsible for other guest services and the hotel was quite busy. Also the maid service was poor. The room was not real clean upon arrival (there was accumulated dirt/small paper-waste? around the night stands and hair on the bathroom floor) and the daily service was okay, but coffee not restocked, for example.

Pros: Everything was super awesome

Pros: The suite was perfect for a weekend stay. It had a kitchenette that we did NOT utilize but nice to know it was there. Free coffee/tea/hot cocoa 24/7 was great. Breakfast every day of the week. Very clean, staff very friendly.
Cons: It was a bit chilly the weekend we stayed - a blanket or throw for watching movies at night would be great. I didn't ask the front desk for one but having a throw over the couch would have made me happier and look more inviting or home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. I didn’t want to leave. Breakfast was great. Decor very nice. Staff very helpful including Brandon at the front desk, check to see if I was ok, room and if I needed anything, etc. He is very courteous and nice.
