Staff were all lovely and kind. Very fancy lobby. When you have water, it can be warm. Decent bed
Don't stay here in rainy season So... the system cancelled my booking, even though I emailed saying my arrival time, so they tried to get me to rebook and pay more, I told them I'll only pay my first quote. The room needed a lick of paint. I stayed for 2 nights and both nights there was a storm. The electricity went out which is obviously not OYOs fault.... but it was out for 14 hours on my first night (3am until 5pm) and then luckily only 5 hours the second night (9pm until 2am). All the neighbouring houses had no power, but for some reason on the second night they all had power from 12am and it was only this hotel that didn't. Took 2 more hours to get power again. So if this is a common thing in rainy season you would be better off not staying here because they don't have a back up plan. Also, it's the middle of nowhere, make sure you have a scooter. Great if you want some dark peace? Also, the phone number they provided doesn't work. And if you email them they don't respond or get it. I have another OYO stay coming up and I'm now apprehensive about it :))
Highly bad organitation in all general items: One of the first things we ask in the reception was about the breakfast (oriental, occidental opctions) they told us the price was 20.000 rp. The next day we decided to order it,but the employer who served us was asking for 50.000rp. We just ask the reason why they were rising the price, and suddenly they let it on 30.000, still dont understand why do we have to negociate this kind of things in a big companny as OYO. Finally after wasting our time for half an hour she was keen to serve us the breakfast(pretty poor one, only one egg with toast and a bad quality "fresh orange juice") we cant even take a coffe as she asked us to pay it. Dont know why it is not included. The first day we asked for towels and some soup for the room, and the answer was that OYO was not responsible about that stuff. Next day we asked for the same to the other employer at the reception and they gave us two towels ( here you can see the bad organitation and communication between the staff members) The woman who served us(who is also working in reception,is justificating herself saying that she is just working in the kitchen, and she has nothing to see with the responsible staff members in reception. Also our bathroom is full of floatings and we cant take the water out from the floor,we asked for it and nobody says anything. Definetlly there is not any coordination team and we are paying for a service that to be honest we dont deserve it.
To be completey honest not very much about the hotel, we stayed 3 nights so it was OK, but we stayed away from the hotel as much as possible. They also have a water filter machine which was good.
Bed wasn't really clean, there were hairs in the bed under the sheet, my girlfriend used her t shirt to put over the pillow so it wasn't touching her, the pictures originally shown were nothing like the room, we didn't pay very much which was lucky, location isn't the best, shower wasn't very powerful and the pool was a dark green color when we arrived but a couple of days later it was blue however we couldn't swim in it due to the amount of chlorine they put in.
Nice hotel, set back from the beach but in a very pretty local area. Needed a scooter to get around but everything was easily accessible by that or by Grab. The room was great with lots of space. Once the pool was working, it was really nice to hang out under the trees and swim. Astra the general manager was extremely helpful and kind. Great value for money!
WiFi wasn’t working for 3 days, however the staff let us hotspot during the day to make bookings.
The staff is really nice. The hotel has motorbikes for rent and that was very convenient.
The hotel didn’t have a hairdryer for us. It took a couple of days for them to get it. The hotel is off the main road and a little hard to get to. We were still able to take grab.
