Pros: The hotel is gorgeous and ideally located in San Cristobal. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the garden, but would love to come back for more time.
Cons: Our room was in a corner of the building with not much natural light, but probably an exception rather than the rule.
Pros: Beauttiful place. Very well located and with great staff. The room was very large and had a nice view. There were water fountains on the hallways so you could keep your bottle of water always fresh.
Cons: During dawn there is no one you can ask for help in a case of emergency. There was a loss of power during one of the nights and I could not find anyone to ask for assistance.
Pros: service、cleanness, beautiful garden
Pros: Beautiful grounds and a delicious breakfast.
Cons: Rooms were a bit chilly.
Pros: Excellent location - nicely insulated from the noisy main drag by a couple of blocks - so calm and convenient. Beautiful interior courtyard, beautiful facilities with good value.

Pros: Size of rooms, cleanliness, restaurant and bar on site, outdoor patio and location.
Pros: It was a charactor hotel within easy access to the centre.
Cons: I am sure when the building work is completed it will be a very quiet place to stay.

Pros: Very nice and clean hotel. It is very well located: quite central without being noisy. The staff was helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. Very good value for money.
Pros: Excellent location, close to the center, but not too close either. Internet connexion was flawless. The hotel is fresh and cool, even on hotter days. Interiour court is calm and peacefull.
Pros: Visiting San Cristobal de las Casas, trip to Palenque
Cons: a little bit far from Zocalo
Pros: Feel at a country home in one of Mexico's most beautiful colonial cities. The hotel is small and has a homey feeling, surrounding a beautiful garden in cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff, casual and nice warm breakfast. Quiet -hard to find in town- only three blocks away from downtown. Definitely will come back.
Cons: Ask for rooms away from the kitchen area. Breakfast workers become noisy at 6:00 AM due to architectural issues. Everything else is excellent.
Pros: Very quiet and clean hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was lovely and had a powerful shower. It's really close to the zocalo and 15 minutes walking from the bus station. A lovely place to stay in San Cristobal.
Pros: This hotel if very nice and reasonabily priced. It is an easy walk to everything. It is also very clean.
Cons: When we arrived, there was no record of my reservation. We had no reservation. Luckily they had room for us but had to move to another room once and had to go to a different hotel ( Casa Margarite) for the last day and that hotel was far inferior to Parador Margarite. Not good!

Pros: It's a cozy staff and I love that the kitchen is open for our use
Pros: The location is excellent. The beautiful bedding and hot shower are much appreciated. The owner definitely cares and makes sure everything is okay. I booked all my tours from here as well. I did get one very special breakfast - merci boucoup.

Pros: The place looks nice and is in the city center.
Cons: - 2 persons at the reception and none of them speak English - Bed was not comfortable I think this hotel is a bit over priced, for the price we paid I had higher expectations for this hotel, at least English speaker at the reception and more soap in the bathroom. -breakfast should be included at this price
Pros: We Love this place
Pros: Great location, helpful staff. Didn’t have any breakfast so can’t conclude on their food but as it’s located in the city center there are plenty of options around.
Cons: The sheets and towels had stains on it as well as plenty of dark hair. We’ve asked them to change the sheets next day as we arrived in the middle of the night. Afterwards it was fine. Also there was a fotoshooting going on at the property during the night which caused significant amount of noise in the court yard
Pros: Comfy bed and hot water
Pros: The rooms were very clean
Cons: Wifi was awful
Pros: Close to the city center, convenient car parking
Cons: Short beds, poor noise isolation

Pros: Personnel friendly and helpful.
Cons: Simple but okay, the price is too high for the style though. Wifi not work.
Pros: We could bring our dog. The room was decorated nicely and was clean.
Cons: I really felt like this place was just out to make money. When we booked the room we were quoted a price of $340. However there was a lot of extra charges when we arrived; they charged us an extra $200/night for our dog as they classed her as medium size even though she is only 4 months old, they then added on the tax, then a credit card charge, then the price was still more than we expected - $680 - double what we originally thought we would be paying! There are also signs up stating extra fees for late check out, coffee etc. The room was cold and there wasn't always hot water. The shower ran all over the bathroom floor so it was impossible not to soak the bathroom. There was no bathmat to soak it up.
Pros: Nothing special
Cons: It's far from city center
Pros: The bed and bathroom were comfortable. The hotel is located a 10-minute walk away from the centre, in a calmer neighbourhood.
Cons: Hotel Posada Las Casas is a place where to sleep, not a place where to spend time.
Pros: Great customer service
Cons: Charge for more toilet paper

Pros: The location and staff was excellent, parking available but not in the direct vicinity.
Cons: Small things, like two glasses in the room for water. Use another detergent for cleaning, very strong (chemical like) smell. And an agreement for breakfast with the restaurant.
Pros: I loved the room, the bed was amazing -really comfortable. All the furniture is nice, it is a fairly new hotel. Everyone from the staff were very kind and friendly.
Cons: There were some details with the room, the tv was not working correctly with poor signal. There was this smell of moisture or moss in the room. The thingy to insert the room card key for electricity to work was coming off the wall.
Pros: Excellent location. Very comfortable, neat, and nice. Food from the restaurant was good. Great service.
Cons: At night, the the music from the bar next door was too loud.
Pros: It was very comfortable for traveling with my chihuahua and my friend. Location was awesome and staff were so nice!

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a library. Pros: Very convenient location
Pros: Everything was perfect.
Cons: They don’t speak english
Pros: Location, style, comfortable beds, good price.
Pros: Immediately impressed when we walked into the reception. Hotels exceeded expectations and we stayed an extra two nights as a result
Cons: As a consequence of being next to both the road and laundry our room was very noisy.
Pros: The place was charming in appearance with its antique doors, windows, and wrought iron hardware. I liked the convenience of the room safe. The location was ideal for me in that it was not too close to the noisy historic center but easy walking distance to all the sights even at night. The free breakfast was a welcome surprise and would be great with a few changes.
Cons: Maybe it is a new trend here, but while a young staff member showed me to my room, I got no help with my luggage going up 2 staircases. The same goes with the included breakfast. It appeared it was a continental breakfast, which is ok, but there were no napkins, I had to ask for one. Then I noticed a guest being served a hot egg dish and again I had to ask about that. There seems to be plenty of young staff but they don't seem to be trained on customer service. The room was very dim until you opened the wooden window panels. And that dim light in the BR obscured the lack of cleanliness of the floor. Plus there was very poor plumbing on the base of the commode such that it appeared that the base was oozing dark brown waste! It was a sloppy wax ring installation!
Pros: We really liked the staff, they were friendly and went out to their way to help regardless of the language barrier.
Cons: The room has no external windows. It was on the first floor of an old building and so there was no natural light and black mould in the corners of the room. The bathroom smelt bad and the basin blocked every night. The walls are thin so you can hear the people next to you. The hotel is close to the historic centre (5 min walk) and is safe to walk around the area night or day.

Pros: It’s a wonderful property, they’ve got all kinds of amenities and the museum of Mario Uvence private collection is incredible. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and committed to make your stay the best you can have.
Pros: I loved the layout of the room, the lighting, the decor.
Cons: It would have been nice if Netflix was signed in with the hotel's account so that it could be used.
Pros: Garden and design.
Cons: Service at every level: check in, restaurant, check out... I wouldn’t recommend this place, there are much better options in San Cristobal.
Pros: The entrance and the general atmosphere in the hotel is fantastic The room is absolutely beautiful with a fire place The food at the restaurant is fairly good Most of the staff is helpful and quite nice
Cons: The staff is really kind but it is difficult sometimes to communicate since some do not speak English (and we don't Spanish) Even if it is a spa hotel no spa was available and nobody told us in advance to our arrival
Pros: An amazing property not far from the centre of San Cris, it was the perfect little getaway for our family of 4. The rooms are very modern and chic. The restaurant has a beautiful garden view and funky decor. The food was good but not mind-blowing. The atmosphere makes up for it, the kids were relaxed playing in the garden.
Cons: Like I mentioned the food was great but not spectacular. We ate lunch, dinner and then breakfast in the restaurant. The breakfast in particularly unexceptional, they didn’t have several options on the menu available and the plates we did receive were disappointing. The French toast was made from store bought bread. They should consider a healthy juice menu.
Pros: We had a wonderful time in Posada Sancris. The place was very peaceful, very clean, on a less than ten minutes walk to the center and the married couple that hosted us were both very kind and friendly. We would really recommend to stay here!
Pros: Courtyard is lovely
Cons: The shower was almost without pressure. Felt like showering in the rain
Pros: Value for the money paid.
Cons: Hot water was inconsistent, the shower needed fixing. It’s a 15 minute walk from the centre. We realized we could’ve booked something closer to the center. The room got really cold at night when the temperature was about 7 degrees Celsius.
Pros: The bed was super comfy and everything was very clean. :) Very caring staff.
Cons: We didn’t have a nice view from our room. It didn’t matter too much, for the price it was good enough.
Pros: Very nice posada and charming rooms rooms are big very welcoming hosts very nice neibourghood
Cons: the smell in the bathroom

Pros: Great little oasis 15 minutes walk from the centre of town. Gorgeous flower-filled courtyards with hummingbirds, Comfortable room with a lovely bed and cotton sheets, fabulous copper bathtub! Tasty breakfasts. Good wifi. Excellent service and good value all round.
Cons: The room was a little chilly in the evening and the lighting could have been brighter. The garden courtyards give plenty of places to sit in the shade on a hot day, but there is nowhere to lie in the sun for a while!
Pros: Every thing we’re just excellent. But the crews made it even better
Pros: The bed was really comfortable and the room really spacious
Cons: The hotel really needs to have a restaurant, we were traveling with a baby and small child. The website we booked through was misleading and our criteria was a place with restaurant just to make things easier.
Pros: Everything whose excelente the yard is beautiful
Cons: Best crevice , the yards the flowers the Arquiteto
Pros: Beautiful small hotel slightly away from the centre of town. Lovely large room with balcony, good breakfast, gorgeous garden and delightful helpful staff.
Pros: Amazing cozy and clean place to stay. The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. They make this place a unique hotel in San Cristobal de las Casa’s. Beds and decoration great. The breakfast is delicious and based on many regional ingredients. Lovely place to stay!
Pros: The attention to detail is lovely. In everything. The room, the amazing bathroom with its copper bathtub, the gardens, the breakfast! There is an offering of a great selection of wine. We really enjoyed a Chilean wine. What luxury to drink the wine next to our beautifully lit fire. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I am somewhat independent and appreciated their hands off approach until you needed something and they were right there to support you. I would stay here again. / Guayaba Inn es precioso y elegante. Quedamos en un grande King habitación. Muy especial Inn. Los detalles hicieron que nuestro estancia fuera muy especial.

Pros: A lovely hotel in the middle of the historic center. Very nice breakfast, lovely room. Frank made our stay fabulous! Thanks very much, Frank
Pros: The staff was friendly and available at all times. The food presentation at breakfast was elegant, and certainly plentiful. Everything was fresh and home made, very elegantly. The manager had access to terrific guides and was able to point us in the right direction for all we needed. Also, snacks were available ( no extra charge)
Cons: The windows could have been able to open a bit more.
Pros: We really liked the colonial style with lots of details and traditional decoration. We even had a functioning fireplace in our room which gave us a very special atmosphere at a chilly night. The staff is most helpful and sweet, I got sick and they made oatmeal for my breakfast, even it wasn’t on the menu, and just helped with every question.
Pros: The staff was super nice and accommodating. The breakfast options were delicious to an extreme. The location is great - close enough to walk to the main attractions and restaurants in town but far enough to be quiet. The parking lot is only a few steps away from the door.
Pros: Delightful place to stay, everybody lovely
Pros: We loved staying here and this would be our first choice, should we return to San Cristobal de Las Casas. Our Junior suite was comfortable, beautifully decorated, quiet and had all the amenities we needed for our 4 night stay. The included breakfasts are exceptionally good and will set you up for the day. Every member of staff provided great service. Freddie and Frank were extremely personable and helpful with their suggestions regarding local restaurants; which local tour agency they recommended and finally arranging transport to the airport. We had an early departure and were most surprised to be handed packed-breakfasts for our onward journey.

Pros: We didn't eat in the hotel because there were so many options nearby and we wanted to get out and explore each day. The hotel is on the zocolo, so you can walk out the door and be right in the middle of the action. There was one particular staff person at reception who spoke excellent English and was always willing to help us figure things out. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were modern and clean. There is a Starbucks 2 or 3 doors down with good internet.
Cons: We were on the 3rd floor, and one member of our group has some physical limitations. If you are concerned, you should request a first-floor-level because there is no lift. The internet worked occasionally, but usually wouldn't connect. It seemed like the hotel relied on the internet provided by the city to the town center rather than having their own, but that was unclear. We visited Starbucks a lot to stay in touch and get information.
Pros: Very clean hotel, nice and confortable beds, big parking spot, kind staff, nice restaurant, old fashion
Cons: No elevator, poor wifi signal in the rooms.
Pros: Staff, location, cleanliness and most important the view from the balcony onto the plaza.
Pros: Great location, very quiet room third floor
Cons: breakfast time, servers very slow to bring the bill, and very slow to bring the change
Pros: Great location, quiet room, very clean daily. Had breakfast which was very nice. Will stay again. Front desk was always smiling and helpful, and spoke alittle english.

Pros: The location is perfect. Right in the city center only two blocks away from the main square. So everything is walking distance. Also really liked atrium with real trees in it. Nice place for breakfast.
Pros: Everything was great, especially the location. It took us just a few minutes to get to the center, the way to which was beautiful and full off restaurants and cafes. There weren't many people at the hotel (we stayed there on January 8th-12th), so it was pretty quiet, too. You can have a meal at the restaurant at the hotel at very reasonable prices! Right in the hotel there is a car rental for those who prefer sightseeing on their own. The staff is very nice and helpful!

Pros: Great location next to the main zocalo (square). Walking distance to all attractions.
Pros: Delicious breakfast & very kind service from all the team along with the location which is very centric and near by everything, we love it!
Cons: The bathroom was somewhat dirty.
Cons: Could be more sockets in the room
Pros: Very well located, 2 mins to the main square. Clean. Large rooms
Pros: The location is the only upside of this hotel
Cons: - the room was not clean and bedsheets and towels had stains. It seemed like this hotel does not even change sheets between guests. Also the glasses in the room were not washed but just put upside down pretending to be clean. Bad hygiene overall and we both got sick while staying here - unfriendly staff, most of the staff appeared to hate working here and was not helpful at all - noisy: you hear everything happening in neighboring rooms and the hallways, we did not get one night of quiet sleep. - expensive: considering all the points mentioned above together with the steep price we paid, this hotel was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Do not book here

Cons: No windows in the room - only one to the corridor.
Pros: Everything. I always stay here.
