We were visiting market square and the river walk, we opted to take a cab to river walk and it cost around $6.00, so it was a great location to both the river walk and market square. The front desk was really nice and the rooms were very nice.

I was surprised with the room amenities -- basically a mini-kitchen! Nothing that comes to mind. Parking was fine, the room was fantastic, and the location was great.

The panteen shampoo was nice. I hadn't realized that there was no breakfast available. The bathroom tub stop did not work properly.

When we arrived the computer was down so we could not check in for about 1/2 hour. If you don't have a car and want to get to the River walk, the nearest bus or trolley is about two blocks away and you will have to walk through a rough neighborhood. On the plus side the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

This newly opened hotel still has some problems with customer service. We waited almost 10 minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk as there was only one person in the hotel on any duty at 9pm! The description mentioned a free continental breakfast - does not exist. The shower was very slick and I fell pulling a muscle that, 2 weeks later, is still causing movement problems in my shoulder. The access bar outside the shower probably saved me from more serious injury. That said, the room was very comfortable, the kitchenette clean and the bathroom spacious.

The entire hotel is listed as non-smoking, but our room smelled strongly of cigarettes. Also, pictures on line DO NOT represent all 'studio suites'-only the 'king' studio suites (none available on our arrival). Queen studio suites do not have the enclosed bedroom, the couch or the bar/counter area. I think it would be more honest to include such a disclaimer with photos. Not a good location if you plan to use the trolley or public transportation once you arrive. Nearest stops are blocks away and not in a safe location. Limited parking availability.

Right off I-10 in Down town area. Its about 5 blocks away from the market area. The Hotel is new and awesome! They even let us stay there a extra night for almost the same rate. Paul C. Spring TX.
