Pros: I had a really nice stay in this hostel, close to the bus station for Sun Moon Lake. Breakfast ready for early bus and quiet cozy hostel.

Pros: Very easy 1 min walk from where bus dropped me. Super friendly and responsive staff. The bathrooms were very well maintained. This hostel has everything I need! Highly recommended!

Pros: It located nearly bus station that takes 1 min by walking. As a traveler, a clean environment containing clean bed and comfortable shower is really confidential enough to me. Even l got more joy and happy from the kindly keeper and foreigners l made during my stays.

Pros: Super excellent!! Location is super convenient, just near from the Puli bus station. Owners are very friendly as well. Must try their 紅玉紅茶 and beer~ we do have a nice memory there!! Thank you!!

Pros: Staff consistently went out of their way to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. They helped exchanged our tickets and made special arrangements for our transfer back to the Taichung station when it turned out we had confused High Speed Rail with Express Train and purchased the wrong tickets. They were patient with all our questions. Lots to love about this hotel from glorious lake views to stupendous buffet meals, Japanese style hot spring baths in room as well as in a large pool.

Cons: Not too much except on our last night, the lights in our room suddenly went on three times in the middle of the night, waking us up. And the room got really warm despite a thermostat reading that remained unchanged.

Pros: The staff always went above and beyond. Water and spa was free with our room package and although buffet came too it was good as well. Cannot brag enough about the staff and out of our whole life of stays this ranks top for us. Wonderful stay all around!

Cons: Has nothing to do with the hotel, I just wish we had known that sunmoon lake didnt have a beach. The only thing is the staff when cleaning other rooms could be a little quieter and not yell down the halls when talking to each other, but that wasnt a huge deal. The staff other than that were exceptional and we 10/10 would recommend.

Pros: We enjoyed beautiful lake view and sumptuous breakfast and dinner buffet. Staff is cheerful, efficient and friendly. We like the decor and open spaces to enjoy the sun moon lake view. Simple and artistic art work with Chinese calligraphy makes it very special for guests. We stay here for the 2nd time because of we like it so much.

Cons: In room telephone is difficult to use.

Pros: It's a very cozy place. There is a bookshop on the 1F. The place offers nice desserts and draft beer. Bonus is that the shower water is hot and strong! Plus, there is a big roof top yard where you could see the stars. Environmental friendly. I would suggest guest bring your own supplies.

Cons: The only weak point is that the soundproof in the room is not good...

Pros: It is clean, it is nice, it is quiet, the beds are comfy, the shower is good and the owner is very friendly. Everything is just perfect !

Pros: Beautiful, quiet location. Undoubtedly the best western breakfast I’ve had in Taiwan. Perfect escape from Taiwan’s hectic cities. They even gave me a lift to the bus station in the morning.

Pros: Clean rooms. Good to have jacuzzi in the bathroom. Game room in the basement was positive for kids

Cons: Very particular about the check-in time and staff would not give room before 3 pm, even if it is an hour or do earlier. We were asked to go boating the moment the check in formalities were completed as we reached at 1.30pm!!! Even the restaurant had stopped lunch by then and only tea /coffee was available. One can understand the policies but the response was very curt. It was very difficult to communicate as staff was not able to converse in English. Given the pricing and positioning of the hotel, this was basic. Breakfast options were limited. Restaurant staff struggled to cater to us and the service was not just upto the mark. We were informed after placing the order that certain items are not available. Additionally the restaurant forgot to serve one item. Overall not value for money

Pros: The lake view is unbearable ever. You could sit on your couch next to the flooer to the ceiling window for hours by reading your books and watching to the Sun Moon lake. What a life it is.

Cons: Although the general impression on the room was great (clean sheets, spacious, nice decoration, VIEW), I must admit there were many bad things : shower tub not clean at all (black stains in the corners and joints), stains on sofa, some switches didn't work, etc). And no lift ... OK, I am not used any more to that, i must admit ...

Cons: I booked this hotel because of the lake view. In reality, there is a building totally blocking the view. Our room was in a new building where there was no swimming pool which was not as advertised. Finally, they exchanged our 2 twin rooms to a quadralup room with better view but still half blocked. The quadralupe room was cheaper by 400 ntd. For that kind of view, i would ve stayed in a cheaper hotel.

Pros: Such a nice place with good facilities, clean, comfortable, kind staff, 20 mins from the nantou bus station by walking, 30 mins to the center by walking or 10 mins by taxi(cheap fee) . Also, they offer you bikes for you to ride around the town free of charge and this place is between Qingjin farm and sun moon lake, very convenient.

Pros: No lift. if you stay at 5th floor means you need use the steps up and down.

Cons: Everything is good excepting their staffs .They cann't speak english and very very poor service . My kid got an accidence and have a wound at her foot. I just ask for alchohol but the staff tell me to go outside to go to the first aid care while it's raining. They have no smile, no care, no spirit to service.The hotel should improve about this.

Pros: Our room was right on the side of water. We were able to enjoy the view anytime. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: Unfortunately when we were there, the pool and the restaurant were under renovation. We didn’t have chance to use these facilities.

Pros: We had a big one-bed room with a sofa and a great view on the lake. The staff is extremely friendly and helped us a lot with the loss of telephone or an urgent need for a good coffee.

Pros: The rooms were sufficiently clean. The staff was warm and helpful. The location was awesome. Right in front of the Wharf. Taiwanese Street food every corner you turn. Nice restaurants all within 5 minutes walk. Convenience stores also within 5 minutes walk.

Cons: The hotel only accept cash. They don't accept credit cards. Car park is 7 minutes walk away. The hotel has no lift and there's no room on the first floor. No fridge and water boiler available in the rooms but hot and cold water dispensers are available on 1st and 3rd floor. Some of the furnitures need repairing.

Pros: CP rate is just high for this accommodation. From the window can see the beautiful lake as the location is just in front of the pier. The reception was very friendly and helpful, it was great and right choice for staying here and I would definitely recommend to friends especially if some one travels with pets.

Pros: The scenery was pretty good as our room faces the lake. The location of light morning is good as we were very near the Ita Thao Pier.

Cons: The windows and curtain were very dusty. The walls are relatively thin and we could hear people singing next door. The power sockets are inconveniently placed. The hairdryer was weak in terms of its power. The light fixture in the room looks like it was about to fall, we forgot to mention it to the staff the next day, so it will be good to check that first. Therefore, there is room for improvement in terms of its facilities.
