Conrad Manila - Pasay - Building
1
9.1 Excellent (7,815 reviews)
₹ 14,137+
Overview Reviews
The remarkable Manila Bay greets you as you step in front the large windows of your room or suite at the Conrad Manilla. Embedded within the S Maison retail complex, the hotel accesses recreational venues, boutiques and attractions, but the on-site facilities are certainly worth all your time as well. Taste the subtle flavours of innovative Asian dishes at the two in-house restaurants and find your recipe for relaxation within the Health Spa, where you have an abundance of body treatments, healing procedures and couple treatments. Afterwards, experience what it’s like to swim in a reef at the infinite pool designed to mimic corals. Improve your fitness with a personal trainer to guide you through the high-end equipment in the gym. Once the long day of excitement and pleasure ends, you rest in a palatial room with Bluetooth-enabled entertainment technology. Weddings are always prominent on the social calendar as the Grand Ballroom attracts couples from all over the world.
6.2 Good
Pros: Pool area and the one staff member there was nice. Oh, and the food was top notch. Aside from that, and the facility, I was not impressed. Mostly just frustrating.
Cons: They told us "no" way too many times for any place in the hospitality industry. To be fair, we're not that needy. They're just a bit too strict for their own good. For one, they refused to give us free wifi access until we had reluctantly signed up to be part of the Hilton rewards club. Also, if you like to enjoy the occasional smoke, this place is similar to a hospital in that you will be told to move elsewhere if you're not in the one place they allow smoking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully designed hotel on Manila Bay. Depending on the room not always the best view but the rooms are comfortable and the staff are great.
Cons: Everything is an additional cost. Even printing out a few sheets of paper.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We're world travelers and I must say Conrad is one of the nicest hotels we stayed at.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was kind and helpful. The view from the room was "to die for".
Cons: Everything was just too expensive. Value for money was not convincing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Perched next to Mall of Asia on the Manila Bay front, the hotel has an ocean liner shape and vibe, a building of sweeping curves of white concrete and glass, well designed to take in the legendary Manila Bay and its sunsets. The building is very new, all the materials throughout of the highest quality, both in the public areas and the rooms themselves. Plenty of attention to detail, from the automatic blinds opening on to the bay, to the little stuffed toy carabao left on the bed at night (although with some strange lapses, see below). An excellent and comprehensive breakfast in the Brasserie. Beautifully appointed bedroom and marble bathroom, comfortable bed, unobtrusive and perfectly set air conditioning and temperature (unlike many hotels which are noisy or too cold). These are just some of the highlights
Cons: Overall the lobby is spacious and modern but does not have that high class vibe of say the Penn or the Shang, with people running about, shouting etc. Despite this hotel being more expensive than the other two named. When the hotel is supposed to be six or seven star, then tiny lapses are all the more puzzling - for example unbranded bedroom slippers that are too small they would not fit Cinderalla, lack of branding on linen bag, rather thin towels (compared to the usual five star fluffy ones), uninspiring bathroom soaps and shampoos, and cheap distilled water in the rooms free for the guests. Having stayed in really posh hotels around Europe, the staff are all right but nowhere near the standard of a hotel of this price. And for the price, charging for in-room wi-fi is nothing short of a scandal (P450 a day). Also very few channels available on the TV - not even CNN, let alone HBO or BBC!!! So overall the hotel is found wanting on many many key fine details that would make this live up to its billing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed is so comfortable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Swimming Pool!!!
10.0 Excellent

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment you enter, you are transported to another time. There's an unhurried air around the place. Lovely garden, historic home as the centerpiece. Staff is exceptionally well trained and will do their absolute best to accommodate your request. Popcorn at 9pm to munch while watching a movie? You bet. If you want to get out for shows, shopping or sight seeing, you are very near Mall of Asia and Intramuros. Highly recommended.
Cons: The website is very clear on the square footage of each class of room and because it is a historic home that has been converted, I expected the room to be on the small side. However, when I stay again, I'll ask to have a look at the available rooms before I take my key. My room was quite small and that was fine since I was alone. If I had been with a companion, it would have been too small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds, tranquil, peaceful. A great place to relax in the heart of Manila.
Cons: Not many decent restaurants in the immediate neighborhood
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Poor WIFI connection. Sometimes none at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel! Located in a compound so you feel very safe and you don't hear the traffic from the street. Nicely renovated with a modern look. Apparently, this was owned by a wealthy chinese family back in the day and they renovated for hotel use. Very nice architecture. Also very close to Mall of Asia and surrounding casinos and restaurants in the Pasay neighborhood.
Cons: Only one entrance to all the rooms from the main area. 4 houses situated in tandem and our room was located in the 3rd house. Since there was only one entrance, the walk to the main gate of the compound made it twice as far. I only stayed a night, so it wasn't terribly inconvenient, but if I was staying a few days or weeks, it would probably get old quick.
7.9 Good
Pros: We decided to have a simple staycation and The Henry Hotel provided that. The food from the room-service menu was great. But the breakfast set, needs improvement.
7.5 Good
Pros: We liked the proximity to the city’s business district.
Cons: The room was not exceptionally clean. It was tidy, but not spotless.

1.0 Poor
Cons: I prepaid in full for nine nights. Upon checkout I was given a bill for an additional $1,100 pesos. When I asked why, I was told that the rate up after I paid in full and I still had to make it up. I call that extortion. Never stay there.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the walk across runway Manila to the hotel was straightforward and this hotel is ideally placed for a late arrival or early checkout. I had an early flight before breakfast and they kindly would make up a take away breakfast for you which is a nice touch.
Cons: Although the room was clean and tidy it was quite tight in the bathroom accessing the shower - a simple sliding door would make all the difference
9.0 Excellent

6.3 Good
Pros: It was close to the airport. Airport transfer was available for an extra fee. It was an okay pit stop for the airport transfer.
Cons: The check in was long. The room smelled odd. There were 2 small cockroaches walking around as we walked in the room. . There was only 1 key given therefore everytime you leave the room to go out, you have to take your key and leave whoever is left in the room to sit in the dark. You can’t leave the key card in the room because you need it to access the lifts.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The place
Cons: Not comfortable
9.1 Excellent
Pros: I like the location. Close to MOA, NAIA. Nice to have a kitchenette. Water pressure in my room was good and, also hot.
Cons: I have stayed here many times. This time, in room 312, the A/C was a weak link.

Pros: Room was clean, staff was friendly, price was cheap. Short taxi ride to SM Mall of Asia, not too far from airport.
Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water only worked part of the time. Water in toilet never stopped running. Area around hotel was run-down, smelly, and felt unsafe. Limited choices for food or other amenities within easy walking distance.

7.0 Good
Pros: It’s not far from the airport or mall of Asia. Pool, bar area on top floor is a nice space. Lots of tv channels and a fridge.
Cons: Staff were not friendly, smiley or particularly helpful. The shower curtain was disgusting.

7.0 Good
Pros: the staff is very accommodating
Cons: not convenient with children (edge of the dresser) below 4 yrs old room 504
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pool and restaurant on 8th floor. Went for breakfast 45 minutes before it closed, some of the food was finished and not replenished, no brown bread, fruit juice was warm. No fresh milk for coffee, only packets of powered milk.
Cons: Offered shuttle service to airport, implied in the ad that it is complimentary, in the end it was more expensive than the public taxi. Should be informed of that in the ad.
4.2 Okay
Pros: None
Cons: Near shitty place, dirty and full of illegal vendors, unsafe and noisy
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were very helpful with booking me a private taxi back to the airport- especially after having a hard time getting from the airport to them using a normal taxi. They were all friendly, quick and it felt very genuine. Price was very reasonable.
Cons: Only window in room was out to the back of the building that over looked another metal roofed building and the fire escape. Fan didn't work properly, Door in bathroom didn't shut properly, shower head needs replacing. The hotel on a whole seems quite dim and needing a refurbishment. Buffet breakfast was limited- wanted more continental options available. Due to location and me travelling alone, I didn't feel very safe in the location of the hotel.

6.2 Good
Pros: Pool area and the one staff member there was nice.
Pros: Very professional. Clean, open, spacious, pool facilities nice and spa was well worth it.

Pros: Food was good; their Lumpiang Shanghai was awesome along with their Halo-Halo. Courteous staff that respected privacy.
