People at reception are quite helpful (because they know there is an issue in the advertising of the hotel).
Despite the fact that pool appears on advertising pictures , it is now closed. At reception they are aware of the inconsistency and are quite embarrassed . The breakfast included in booking.com’s fare is simply cafe and some pastries (no eggs, juice etc). Initially I was given a room where in the bathroom they still had used towels and unemptied garbage-bin
People at reception quite helpful (also because they know about the problem of information on the advertising of the hotel)
Swimming pool is not usable (despite being advertised). Staff is well aware of the inconsistency and are embarrassed of it. Breakfast included in booking.com’a fare is poor (only cafe and pastries, no eggs, juice etc). Initiallly we were given a room with dirty/used towels still spread in the bathroom and a unemptied garbage bin
The rooms were spacious. The Christmas decor was nice and the staff were friendly.
I wanted to pay for the room when I got there and for some reason this was a big deal. Eventually they allowed us pay (or so I thought) but they just put a hold on my card so in fact the payment came out later than expected. Just an annoyance more than anything else, but I didn’t understand it as many hotel take payment up front.
Excellent location in uptown New York, just two blocks away from the Central Park. Staff promptly took actions about any problem when demanded. Room was very clean and comfortable.
Nothing worth mentioning.
The location couldn’t be better and the staff was very kind and helpful especially Darius from reception, overall one of our best travel experiences to date.
