10.0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING! However, this time we want to esp praise the breakfast staff. We come several times a year & often fail to mention them. Breakfast is one of the main reasons we choose y’all.
6.0 Good
Cons: We’d scheduled our day partly around returning to the lounge area for the hotel’s hour of complimentary hors-d’oevres; we went within the window, but they’d stopped serving them well before. And at dinner, in the 1818 restaurant, our waiter was impatient with us, forgot to bring us several things we ordered, and offered to bring us what we’d left on our plates but never brought them back.
6.0 Good
Pros: We stayed in one of the cottages, like a little house, cute, pretty and clean. Friendly staff! Natchez is fun. Go eat at Camp near the Mississippi and listen to music next door. Great local pleace, great food and nice people.
Cons: No coffee maker in the room!!!!!! Boehoe.... It depends on your expectations I think. In hindsight I would have stayed somewhere else. Not because there is something wrong with the place, but for that money I've had better and saw better in Natchez. Rooms are fine.... but there is a lot of pretentious air over the place, that it doesn't live up to really. Monmouth relies on the antebellum vibe.... It also feels like the staff is still very submissive ... There is no actual tour through all of the complex. Just the main house, and there is not much to tell. Not much of the original owners stuff. And no mentioning of the plantations history with its slavery background.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is very well kept, clean, and beautiful.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding....... Very Southern
Cons: Hairdryer was old and broken. The switch would not turn it off.

Pros: We liked it all! The staff was awesome and the grounds were beautiful. Throughly enjoyed our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our queen suite was awesome, this was out 15th stay and it was as fantastic as all the other stays. We got an extra treat, the breakfast room is being repaired and breakfast was served in the mansion, We were met as always by Hal and our little furry friend Stretch. We have become so close to the staff, everyone there is awesome. This is the absolute best Natchez and Mississippi has to offer, Again thanks to the Monmouth staff for making our stays so special.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property - short distance from downtown.

Pros: I liked everything from the very moment I stepped out of our car. A very welcoming hostess, Ester, (also the owner) met us at our car to help carry our luggage in, then she gave us a tour of the home, offered us supper, and then let us know what time breakfast would be served. She makes everything from scratch and it was the first time I had tasted tomato pie.....it was awesome! There was not one bad thing about this stay. I would like to visit again to be able to vi6the town as well. Natchez is a very quaint and cute town.
Cons: I was pleased with everything absolutely no complaints!!!

Pros: Property was a stopping point for us between Memphis and New Orleans. We did not arrive until after 9PM and departed early the next morning, there was breakfast included and free parking. Overall it was fantastic value for money and the breakfast was very good too.
Cons: The hotel was loud and you could easily hear noise on the corridor and from other rooms during the night. Check in was extremely slow, there was only 1 person in front of us but checkin took half an hour.

Pros: Wonderful property - leaving Natchez today very well rested! Thank you Joe!
Cons: Everything was fantastic..
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a lovely experience staying here in this historic family home with Joe and his adorable little dog. The home has been in his family for many years and is full of interesting furniture and decorations that he has collected. The house is also of great interest. Joe is a wonderful host and we loved chatting with him about all sorts of subjects. He makes fantastic home cooked breakfasts as well. However the highlight was the piano recital, accompanied by wine, which he treated us to on our first evening. He is a talented professional musician and it was a real treat to enjoy the short and varied programme of music in these atmospheric surroundings.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Everything about this visit was outstanding. Our host was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We very much enjoyed our piano concert. The breakfasts were creative and wonderful. I hope we have an opportunity to return.
Cons: Everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Joe was such a gracious host! We stayed in the cottage which was just lovely. Lots of space, and the outside furnishings were amazing. I would love to visit in the winter and just sit outside and read there. Was a bit too hot to do so mid July haha. Joe was really generous about sharing information about Natchez with us, and well informed on the history too. His piano playing was beautiful and he was so flexible and accommodating timing wise on scheduling the concert, breakfast, check out and check in. I really have no complaints and would gladly stay again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful experience. Joe was a wonderful host! The piano music was incredible!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Joe Stone is a host with impeccable taste and a gimlet eye for detail and ambiance. The breakfasts we enjoyed were always fastidiously and carefully prepared; the flavor and quantity always satisfying.
Cons: Stone House Musical Bed & Breakfast provides a feast for the eyes, the palate, and the soul. My husband and I have devoted a lifetime to travel--consequently, we have frequented both chain and boutique hotels, Airbnb and VRBO-affiliated properties, as well as every manner of B&B. Joe's home and hospitality rank as one of our "top five" of all time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An incredible stay. The owner of the B&B is the perfect host. His home means so much to him and he’s wonderfully engaging and knowledgable about the area. If you’re staying in Natchez, this place is a must. Joe plays piano recitals for his guests and it’s such a wonderful privilege. Plus, the breakfast the following day is second to none. Thank you Joe.

There was nobody else, she said that maybe her secretary did this. Further she did not know. After a half hour having a discussion, we went away and find an other hotel nearby. Also she mentioned that the photos of the side on booking.com were not the same but from another bed & breakfast.

Pros: I don't mind continental breakfast at all. I wished they would change up the cold cereal choices. Corn flakes and Cheerios would be awesome. Oranges and bananas in addition to apples would be good too!!
Cons: I am a travel nurse and have been trying different hotels in the Natchez, Mississippi area. I thought I had found a diamond in the rough until this last stay. The bathroom; particularly the shower was dirty. The bed spread had stains and I was not sure if it had been cleaned or not. The chair and small bench cushion also had stains. This was my third week stay (3nights each) and it cost me $30.00 more then the previous two stays. No plastic bags for the ice bucket (which was dirty) or laundry bag.
