The concierge upon arrival was amazing and extremely accommodating. He helped me plan a surprise for my wife and helped with making a dinner reservation at a local restaurant. My wife and I had a GREAT stay and would definitely stay at the hotel again.
Staff are absolutely wonderful. There was a nice note and treat basket waiting on our arrival. Dinner was a bit disappointing, but again the service was great.
We’re spoiled with having a full size king bed at home, i found the “king bed” a bit undersized. The street noise (Saturday night) was a bit much, but unavoidable. Perhaps an upgrade to the windows (soundproofed) would help with this.
Location was perfect right in the section of Old Montreal. The breakfast the next day was amazing and terrific service all around.
Absolutely nothing we loved the hotel.
This hotel is in a great historical building (two, actually) right across from the Port area. It's very nice and modern, while still having historic touches and charm. The location is one street over from the big "vieux Montreal" shopping/dining street, so everything's easily walkable. Our room was pretty large, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was nice. The slippers and robes were comfy touches, especially on cold winter nights. We valet parked the car, and needed it brought around at 4:30 am (ugh!) for our flight, and they were happy to accommodate that. It was worth a few extra dollars compared to nearby lots on the Quai to have it taken care of for us. We ate at their attached restaurant - please get the maple pie for dessert, it's amazing - it was a very quiet Monday evening, and everything was delicious.
The ventilation fan in our very nice bathroom rattled, and that was the only way to also turn the light on, so it was a bit loud.
Bathroom was great
