Pros: Lovely hotel. Would be nice to visit in the summer.

Cons: The only let down, was the hotel lacked a nice bar

Pros: Good quality and variety breakfast buffet. Very nice location. Very nice public area. We were compensated with a bottle of wine and a soft drink for the poor sleep caused by the room location.

Cons: Our room was located at floor level next to a road curve and therefore both illuminated and with sound effect from passing cars. Duvet was very warm which combined with windows we didn't want to open, because they were at street level facing a public road, resulted in the the poorest sleep I have experienced in many years. We ordered room service: Very good burger. Very good and french style (=tasteful and small) dessert. Cheese selection was sub standard as 2 out of 3 cheeses were dry as if they had been too long on display.

Pros: Hotel Koldingfjord has an excellent location by the fjord, situated on a south-facing hillside in a small forest. There are good footpaths in the forest, nicely signposted and convenient for walks and jogging. One dines very well in the restaurant, and the breakfast is top class. Our room was spacious and well equipped. It is neither, luxurious, very cosy or overly modern, but nice and comfortable.

Cons: The Hotel attracts conferences, and at times the restaurant may be crowded for breakfast.

Pros: Superb rooms very comfortable and clean with extra pillows. The Danish nursing museum next door, you must stop and walk through, this area has a lot of history x

Cons: Nothing I can think of, but I think they should tell you more about the history as it was a children's hospital.

Pros: Very nice historical setting and facilities. The rooms in the stables are newer, larger, and more quiet. They have many running paths throughout the grounds.

Cons: The rooms in the original building are a bit small and historical. While, they have many running paths throughout the grounds, Denmark tends to get a lot of rain, so these can be muddy. It would be nice to have an indoor fitness center.

Pros: Wonderful, peaceful location in a park at the waterfront. We even saw porpoises one evening when we went swimming from the hotel's pier! Our room was cozy and the bathroom was huge. Excellent breakfast, a high-quality á la carte restaurant (we dined there twice during our stay) and a lovely hotel bar. We loved everything!

Pros: Perfect location , nice facility, old castle with very nice designed rooms. Parking. Room and bed -very comfortable, coffee machine, tea and coffee in the room . Good breakfast. Many tv channels but mostly in German and limited in English. Restaurant and food was excellent, service as well. Nice walking area around, lake, forest, deers. Bikes road. We liked most the atmosphere in this place and will definitely come back in summer time.

Cons: Wifi didn't work properly. Would be good to have normal cups for tea at breakfast hall or small kettles. To use small coffee cups- not suitable. Check out at 10 is a bit early.

Cons: Shower doors glass on glass seemed fragile when opening and closing. Burned out light in shower we reported first day was not fixed during our stay.

Pros: Swimming pool though small was very nice and open at 6 a.m, the room was lovely very clean with nice furniture. The staff were very good and friendly.

Pros: LEGOLAND is just half an hour drive by car. McDonald’s Burger King is close to this hostel. Nice clean hostel.

Pros: A clean and easy stay when passing through Denmark on a family trip. No problem checking in late. Unfortunately had no time to try out any of the facilities outside of the room but it seemed nice.

Cons: Bear in mind that it is a hostel and as such has no free towels. Was unpleasantly surprised when you had to pay to use the towels put out. Being five guests it suddenly became a lot pricier. This information was not easy to find.

Pros: Super clean, great breakfast, great staff.

Pros: The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a lovely view over the lake and city. We were arriving much later than normal check in so arrangements were made to make this easy for us. Communication was always easy and the reception were very helpful. The bus/train station is about a 25 minute walk away.

Cons: This is not the fault of the property, but we arrived later in the city by bus and then walked to the property. The google maps function led us to an unlit back entrance with quite steep uneven stairs. There was nothing there to indicate we were actually at the right place until we reached the top.

Pros: Clean and easy. Good price for what we got. Very close to city center.

Cons: They charged me extra money for not having their membership card. Not a huge amount but still not included in price.

Pros: Accommodating host who greeted us even though we arrived late (2230), soft beds and clean beds and towels provided, coffee and tee also available which is nice early in the morning.

Cons: Sleeping under the hosts which means that you hear footsteps quite often which could be a problem if you're a light sleeper. The room could have been vacuumed better.

Pros: Good view, could see sunrise and sunset. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Free coffee and tea 24 hours. Kind staffs help me to call taxi. Everywhere with flowers and candles, quite romantic and relaxing.

Cons: Room too small, even can not open my suitcase Horrible breakfast, didn’t feel full of it, as for me, actually nothing to eat. The water in bathroom goes quite slow when shower

Pros: Small but very Nice room with comfy twinbeeds. Small bathroom as Well but everything needed. Nice breakfast- buffet with a good selection of “breakfast - things”. Dinner was great, but you must be prepared for that diners is fixed, so what you see (on the menu-board) is what you get. No a-la-carte. However what you get is of High standard. The hotel is both a normal hotel as well as a conference hotel which means that it’s quit big with a big lobby, restaurant and breakfast room. On the other hand great furniture and a huge terrasse where you sit having a wonderful view over Lillebælt and the Sunset. The staff at Severin are all very smiling and service-minded and will do their utmost to make you feel good. Around the hotel are several coffee/tea spots, where you Can have as much as you like for free

Pros: This hotel is much better than only 3 stars - extraordinary service oriented stuff, nice and cosy rooms, foot bath opportunity with own bath salt as a goodie, good food and beverage. Highly recommend this hotel!

Pros: The most beautiful building on the shoreline, with breathtaking views across the bay to the neighbouring islands. The view from the terrace (used for both breakfast, and the main restaurant) was beautiful. I spent several hours just gazing. The food in the restaurant was 5* and highly recommended.

Cons: It was quite warm in my room so I'd have liked air-con, but that was the only minor concern.

Cons: The most important business of a hotel should be that you can sleep well. The room only had shading curtains and I woke up at around 3:30 due to a very bright room; and was impossible to sleep longer. I am not used to that kind. There should be black-out curtains in the room or at least normal darkening curtains.

Pros: Nice modern rooms in Kolding C, close to everything! It is not a wellness hotel, so next time for coulpe weekend we choose Comwell Vejle :)

Cons: Breakfast was boring, and didn’t taste of much? Could be better! The pool might have made my boyfriend sick, from swallowing a bit of poolwater :/ He was sick from 03:00 and all day long. Told the receptionist! Check pool.

Pros: The hotel has been recently renovated. Cool design, nice Nordic furniture. There are tables near the reception with plugs for those who want to charge their phone or/and work. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Pros: Room was nice looking and clean. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Receptionist were very friendly and helpfully. I stayed in hotel at the darkest winter time and hotel was more than empty. It was a bit spooky and reminded me about the shining movie. I am sure that if you want to avoid that experience, you should visit there at summer.

Pros: It is located downtown, so it was easy to walk to a number of places and is close to the train station.

Cons: Very little soap for the shower. Shower just had a curtain, no tub. Did not hear the train station, but did hear road noise. No fitness center. Restaurant was not open on Sunday.

Pros: An elegant hotel in a pretty little town very close to the railway station which was a big plus for me as I was travelling by train through Denmark. The hotel building looks great from the outside, and I had the same impression about the inside when I entered. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the price of the room was good considering the high prices in Denmark... My room was clean and of adequate size, and I could rest very well as there was no noise at all. The breakfast was excellent, even better than expected. (I've read about hotels in Denmark offering very little choice for breakfast, but fortunately it was not the case here), there were several hot food choices along with the usual cold cuts and cheeses, and also cakes, fruits, vegetables, just about everything you need for breakfast. Also a nice touch, the "we offer" hours, between 15:00 and 17:00 you can have free coffee, ice cream, cakes and fruits in the breakfast room. I really liked this idea! Overall, a very good experience, I'd choose this hotel again for sure if travelling nearby.

Cons: the shower had a weird design in my room, there was no separate shower box, just a curtain which could not hold all the water, so the floor of the bathroom/toilet got wet after shower. Fortunately it dried after about an hour so it was not a big issue

Pros: This was a one night stopover on our two day drive back from Stockholm to North London. We passed through the area on our trip out [see my Best Western Taulov review] and booked this hotel "paperless" for the first time. A very efficiently run hotel for the "conference" market, clean bright and to a typical standard. Breakfast on Sunday was good with plenty of choice. Interesting local lakeside town with good views of the bridge. Went to Cafe Jazz for dinner, a pleasant waterfront restaurant

Cons: Very little. Dinner on Saturday night was "buffet-only" which did not appeal but the reception kindly advised on local restaurants. The design of the hotel is "standard" with rooms off corridors which are wide but the hotel could easily be "anywhere". Local environment is residential but nothing wrong with that
